Love & Care for Every Pet

I’m a lifelong animal lover with years of hands-on experience caring for dogs, cats, and even small farm animals. I run my own business, which gives me the flexibility to build my day around your pet’s needs and provide consistent, attentive care. One of the things clients comment on most is how quickly their pets connect with me. Even dogs who are shy, anxious, or “don’t usually like people” tend to relax quickly in my presence. I bring a calm, grounded energy into the home, and I take the time to earn your pet’s trust so they feel safe and secure. What sets me apart: Exceptional connection with anxious and sensitive pets – I’m especially good with dogs who are nervous, insecure, or slow to warm up. Experienced across all life stages – From energetic puppies to senior pets needing extra patience and care. Reliable and grounded – I show up consistently, follow routines closely, and communicate clearly. Deep empathy – I’ve loved and lost my own beloved pets, so I understand how much trust it takes to leave your pet with someone new. Flexible, structured care – Because I’m self-employed, I can be present and attentive in ways many sitters can’t. Your pet will receive calm, consistent care—not rushed visits. My goal is always to keep your pet emotionally regulated, physically comfortable, and feeling secure in their environment.

Safety, trust & environment

How I care for pets in your home My priority is creating a calm, secure, and predictable environment for your pet in their own familiar space. I respect your home, your pet’s routines, and any specific instructions you provide. I take extra care to: - Maintain your pet’s normal feeding, potty, and sleep routines - Monitor behavior, comfort levels, and stress signals - Provide gentle companionship, play, and reassurance as needed - Keep the environment calm, clean, and consistent - Ensure doors, gates, leashes, and outdoor areas are always secure For dogs with anxiety, sensitivity, or fearfulness, I adjust my pace and energy to help them feel safe. Many pets relax with me quickly because I approach them with patience and calm presence rather than pressure. I treat your home with the same respect I treat your pet; clean, safe, and cared for. When caring for pets in your home, I keep things consistent, clean, and stress-free. I pay close attention to details, follow instructions carefully, and make sure your pet feels secure in their familiar environment. If your pet stays with me, they’ll enjoy a calm, loving atmosphere where their safety and comfort come first. My goal is simple: for you to feel at ease knowing your furry family member is safe, happy, and cared for like my own.

Besides excellent care for our old gal, Blue, a HUGE plus is that Kim left the house looking like I had just stepped out to grocery shop and came back an hour later. The only " footprint" she left was a happy pup! Thank you, Kim!!

Kim has worked closely with us to ensure our " old gal" is comfortable with someone new. It's been great and we're ready for our weekend adventure knowing Blue is in capable hands!

Happy to have found Kimberly. Knowing my sweet fur baby was in such good hands gave me peace of mind while I was away. He was clearly well cared for, happy, and relaxed when I got home. I really appreciated the updates, photos, and the love and attention Connor received. It’s obvious how much care and effort went into making sure he felt comfortable and safe. I would absolutely trust Kimberly to stay at my house with him again, and will recommend her to anyone looking for someone reliable, kind, and truly great with dogs...and she's just a genuinely nice person I'm glad to know.

Schedule

How pet care fits into my daily / weekly routine Because I’m self-employed, I have the flexibility to shape my work around the pets I’m caring for. That allows me to provide consistent attention, companionship, and routine throughout the day. On weekends (Friday–Monday), I’m typically present in the home for the majority of the day, providing calm, steady companionship. During the week, I balance pet care with client work: - Monday, Wednesday, Thursday: These are my primary workdays. On these days, if your dog cannot comfortably be left alone for a normal workday (approximately 6–8 hours), a midday drop-in visit will be added to ensure your pet gets the attention and potty breaks they need. - Friday–Monday: I’m home far more often and can typically provide more daytime presence and flexibility. I build my schedule around your pet’s routine and emotional needs to help them feel comfortable, safe, and supported while you’re away.

To provide the best care possible, please share: - Any medical needs, including medications, dosing schedules, or physical limitations - Feeding schedules, dietary preferences, and any allergies or sensitivities - Behavioral considerations such as anxiety, fear triggers, separation stress, or reactivity - How your pet typically responds to new people or situations - Their usual daily routine, including sleep patterns and preferred activities The more I understand your pet’s personality and needs, the more comfortable and secure they will feel in my care.
