“Aimee & Derek were fantastic! They made sure to send daily updates and photos. When I returned the cats were happy and the place was clean. It's so great to find such wonderful critter sitters, so the kitties can be at home and not stressed.”

“We’ve had our 2 rescued springers for 2 yrs, one with anxiety/fear issues. It has taken us 2 yrs to be brave enough to leave them with a stranger. Our regret is that we didn’t do it sooner. From the moment Debra came in, our dogs were at ease and our one that is afraid of EVERYTHING quickly sniffed Debra out and gave us his seal of approval. We were able to leave confident the pups were in good hands and enjoyed our night out. She is a dog whisperer and we are overjoyed to have found her. I only worry now is that the more the word gets out the less she will be available! ❤️❤️❤️”

About: Reliable, Loving Dog Care—Like Family 🤍 Hi there! I’ve been around dogs my entire life—growing up in a family that always had them, I naturally became the go-to person for feeding, walking, bathing, and making sure they were happy and well cared for. I’m very comfortable with dogs of different personalities and energy levels, and I genuinely enjoy spending time with them—not just “watching” them, but interacting, playing, and making sure they feel safe and loved while you’re away. I also have a 6-year-old daughter who absolutely adores animals and wants to be a veterinarian someday. She loves helping give extra attention, playtime, and affection (always supervised, of course!), which means your pup will get lots of love and engagement. I take routines and instructions seriously and want your pet to feel as comfortable as possible. You can expect regular updates, photos, and clear communication so you always know how your pet is doing. 🐾🤍 I’d love the opportunity to care for your dog! They will be treated like part of our family, with lots of attention, playtime, and care you can feel confident about. 🥰 I currently am working from home, so my schedule is open as my job allows me to have a lot of flexibility. So even though I do work during the week, I will be able to walk, feed, and play with the dog anytime. My availability is during the week and weekend, any time. I live in a clean, quiet 2-bedroom townhome that provides a safe and comfortable environment for pets. While I don’t have a fenced yard, I make sure dogs get plenty of exercise through regular walks and outdoor breaks throughout the day. My community also has 2 dog parks built in, pups love it there! 🐾 Pets are never left unattended for long periods, and I prioritize creating a calm, structured routine so they feel secure and at home. Walks are always done on leash, and I’m very attentive to each dog’s individual needs, energy level, and comfort. My home is kept tidy and pet-safe, with a cozy space for rest and relaxation. I also follow all care instructions closely to ensure your pet’s routine is maintained exactly how you prefer. I understand how important trust is when leaving your pet with someone, and I take that responsibility seriously. You can expect clear communication, frequent updates, and photos so you always know how your pet is doing.

“I am beyond impressed with our new friends Arianna & Trevor. They took such great care of our Bobbi Cat! We received daily notes and sweet photos. If there were any minor concerns, it was included in the notes. They also checked and watered my plants. My home and Bobbi's space was as neat and clean as it was when we left for our vacation. Thank you, we are grateful, J & L Hess”

“Aleisse was kind enough to provide drops ins for our dog last minute. She was a life saver! She took amazing care of our pup and sent us a lot of photos during each visit. She’s the best and I would highly recommend her to watch your animals!”

“Alex did a great job with Eve. Eve was a little extra anxious because of the fireworks from the holiday. She was a little extra mischievous as well, and Alex went the extra mile to clean up after her unwarranted excursions. I appreciated the extra attention and patience that Alex provided for Eve. Her communication was excellent, and she even added an extra visit last minute.”

“Makinna did a great job dropping in once a day to feed, play and check in with our 2 cats. They got along with her well and they seemed happy and healthy when we got home after 10 days.”

“Kristen did everything I asked, and my cat seemed to survive and thrive under her care. A much better outcome and result compared to "boarding" my cat. I can't say enough good things about Kristen.”

“Jill was trustworthy, updated me twice daily with photos and how my dog was doing , very loving and played with my dog . Made sure she was fed on time and her communication was wonderful , this was the first time i had used a dog sitter , jill exceeded all my expectations, definitely will use her again.”

“Jenn is seriously the best. Her updates give us such peace of mind and allow us to never worry while we’re away from our fur babies. She is so reliable and her communication is stellar! Thank you Jenn yet again for being amazing.”

“Tori is so sweet and took great care of our dogs! The photos and updates put us at such ease. Our littlest one is shy and Tori helped her feel more confident to come around and engage. Our bigger dog loves Tori and took to her right away! Thank you, Tori, for excellent care and I’d recommend you to anyone!”

“We needed a someone to drop in last minute to take care of our pups. Kara was gracious enough to help us out! She did a fantastic job. Great to work with and kept us informed along the way. Absolutely will book again. Great experience!”

“With only 3 days before my wedding, I realized that I had no one to help let my dogs out. I sent some late messages and i’m SO fortunate that Bonnie was able to help me out. She was a pleasure to work with, was very communicative, and I would definitely book her again!”
“Kim and her daughter looked after my cat, Sprite, for well over a week with love and care! I was a tad anxious leaving my cat at home alone for such a long period, but Kim made me feel comfortable with her prompt communication and updates on how Sprite was doing. Kim tended to Sprite's daily needs spotlessly and gave her plenty of much needed company, play time, and time to roam the backyard. It was heart-warming to see all the photo updates. Kim was also very helpful in around-the-house issues, like making sure the AC, temperature, and windows were set for a heatwave that hit while I was away. I came back home a happy and healthy Sprite and wouldn't hesitate to book Kim again.”

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Star
We had to book a cat sitter at the last minute while we were in the middle of moving, and she was amazing. Janell came by to check on our cats, fed them and played with them, was very responsive, reliable. It gave us so much peace of mind knowing our cats were being cared for during such a stressful time. We really appreciate her help and would definitely book with her again!

Aleisse, Was dependable and is a great communicator with words and pictures. I never had to guess about my cat's care which made traveling so much easier. I would highly recommend Aleisse as a cat sitter. My cat seemed to look forward to Aleisse's visits and though my cat was quite happy to have her human (me 😃) back home, she was at peace when I returned. Thank you Aleisse!

Kimberly was amazing. Dropped in morning and evening to feed/play with our dogs while we were out of town. Kept us updated with photos and via text message. I seriously have no faults on Kimberly and her service. She managed 4 complex doggos - one has cancer, one has wobblers syndrome, one is a puppy, and the other being the dominant leader of the pack. Highly recommend Kimberly!

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
