About: I’ve always loved animals and have experience caring for a variety of pets. I currently have a 19-year-old Sulcata tortoise and a dwarf hamster, and I previously had two cats of my own. I’ve also done dog walking and pet sitting for two large Golden doodles, so I’m comfortable caring for dogs of different sizes and personalities. I am responsible and attentive to each pet’s individual needs. I will help with walks, feeding, playtime, and check-ins while maintaining your pet’s usual routine. I’ll also keep your home and any areas I use clean, so everything is in order when you get home. I’ll send photo updates throughout my visits so you know how your pet is doing! I work as an on-call nurse, so my schedule is pretty flexible. I can usually work pet sitting and dog walking into my week and am happy to coordinate with you to find a time that works! When I’m caring for your pets in your home, I’ll walk and play with dogs, and keep cats fed with fresh water and clean litter boxes, and will give them lots of company. I’ll keep your home clean and send photos and updates so you know how they’re doing while you’re away!

About: Hello, I’m currently studying to become a veterinarian. Since I was a kid, I’ve always been surrounded by cats, dogs, and even birds. I do not shy away from any animal and feel a connection between them and nature. I understand the patience, time, and love a pet requires. I treat all pets with the same care and love as my own. I love going on walks, especially in a forested area. I love going on hikes, I believe reconnecting with nature is important for not only myself, but pets as well. I’ve always cared for animals, as of now I have pet birds. Basically my entire life I’ve cared for animals. Once I started to care for them professionally, my world opened up to so many new learning possibilities. Working with elderly pets and puppies, mature pets… it’s just such a learning process and it’s beautiful to be able to connect to them in such a meaningful way. Sophie was was warm and professional and related to my standard poodle in an easy manner. She's a terrific cmmunicator, giving me thoughtful and timely updates. Amy knew how to connect and help them feel safe and in control right away. Chuck was fantastic and went way above and beyond for me when he watched my cat. He was very responsive and kind and patient when I was worried. I can’t recommend him highly enough. There should be more than five stars available for someone as good as he was.
Lu is such an amazing pet sitter. My cat Cabbage has kidney issues and had urinary blockage before. She checks the litter box and communicates with me daily to make sure everything is normal. Cabbage is usually very shy with new people. However Lu has been very patient and she managed to get familiar with my cat very quickly. Lu took care of Cabbage very well while I am away. I highly recommend Lu!

During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
