Pet care experience
Dogs have always been a part of my life, and I genuinely care for every dog as if they were my own family. I've had the joy of owning both a tiny Chihuahua and a gentle Great Dane, giving me firsthand experience with dogs of all sizes, temperaments, and energy levels. In addition, I volunteer as a dog walker for Guide Dogs for the Blind, where I regularly walk dogs with unique personalities, training needs, and routines. This experience has taught me the importance of patience, consistency, and understanding each dog's individual needs. Integrity and compassion are at the heart of everything I do. Whether we're out for a walk, enjoying playtime, or simply keeping your dog company, you can trust that they'll receive attentive, loving care and be treated with the same kindness, respect, and attention I would give my own pets. My goal is to give you peace of mind, knowing your furry family member is safe, happy, and truly cared for every step of the way.
Reviews

Sonja is incredible, her care and thoughtfulness toward my dog is that as if it's her own pet. I appreciate the service so much!

Thank you so much!
Sonja currently serves as a Canine Support Volunteer at Guide Dogs for the Blind, where she regularly works with dogs of varying personalities and temperaments. As a dog owner Sonja treats her pups as genuine family members, not just four-legged friends. She has over 12 years of dog ownership experience, having provided a loving home to both a rescue Chihuahua with a big ego and an adopted Great (lap) Dane. Her history with drastically different breeds has taught her that every dog requires a tailored approach, regardless of size or needs. Beyond dogs Sonja has also worked with small and large farm animals at a sanctuary for 4 years. Sonja is incredibly patient, attentive, and dependable. If you are looking for a loving and responsible caregiver who truly loves animals, I recommend her without hesitation. I have entrusted Sonja with my own dogs, knowing they always receive the highest level of kindness and care.
Sonja has been an incredible help with our energetic, medium-sized dog. He can be a handful at times and definitely keeps you on your toes, but she handles him with so much patience, confidence, and genuine care. It's clear she understands how to match his energy while also helping him stay calm and focused during his walks. The best part is how excited our dog gets whenever he sees her. It's obvious he feels safe, comfortable, and happy with Sonja, and that gives us complete peace of mind. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend her to anyone looking for someone who is dependable, compassionate, and truly dedicated to the well-being of every dog she cares for.
