About: For the past 4 years, I have volunteered at an animal shelter where I worked with both dogs and cats. With dogs, I have experience with all ages, ranging from 5 week old puppies to senior dogs. I have walked and played with dogs who were the most outgoing and loving dogs, as well as the more fearful ones who needed a little extra attention before opening up to me. I have received training in understanding dog behaviors as well as how to interact with more stressed and fearful dogs, leaving me confident to care for all types of dogs. I also volunteered to take some dogs out of the shelter for one night and care for them at my apartment so they can destress out of their kennels, which gave me experience house sitting multiple types of dogs. With cats, often times at the shelter I would play with them in their cages, or I would take them out the cage and hold onto/pet them to help relieve their stress and get them accustomed to humans. At home I also have 2 senior pets I care for, a 12 year old Brittany dog and an 11 year old cat. They’re both incredibly sweet and remind me every day why I love caring for animals. Let me help take care of your furry family members—I’d love to meet them! I work as a teacher full time during the school year, so I have time after 4pm to care for your pets. However, during the summer I don't work full time so I have plenty of time to care for your pets! I am free anytime during the week for house sitting, dog walking, or just dropping in to visit your pet. When caring for a pet in a client's home, I will make sure to confirm all household rules that apply to their pet before starting. This includes knowing what furniture the pet can sit on, the diet of the pet, as well as how often the pet should be played with/taken out on walks.

“Jessica walked Janie twice a day while we were out of town and Janie was staying with my mother. Jessica took pictures and sent detailed descriptions of how the walk went. My mom tells me Janie was always thrilled to see Jessica, and she always came back tired, happy, and healthy. I couldn’t ask for more.”

About: Hi, I’m Gina — your neighborhood dog-walking buddy! 🐾 I’m here to give your pup the fresh air, exercise, and attention they deserve while you’re busy or away. I’ve always had a natural connection with animals, and I genuinely love spending time outdoors with dogs of all breeds and personalities. Whether your dog is high-energy and needs a brisk walk, or prefers a slower stroll with lots of sniff breaks, I tailor each walk to their pace and comfort. I’m reliable, patient, and always make safety a top priority — on every leash, in every step. I’m available for regular walks or occasional outings, and I’ll keep you updated with messages and photos so you know how your furry friend is doing. Let’s make walks the best part of their day (and yours)! I am currently working part-time and will have plenty of time for walks with your furry friend. Dog walking is something I truly enjoy and have intentionally made time for in my daily routine. I love being outside, staying active, and spending time with animals, so fitting in dog walks is a natural and rewarding part of my day. I plan my schedule around my walks to ensure I’m always punctual, focused, and fully present with each dog I care for. Whether it’s a morning energy boost, a midday break, or an evening wind-down, I make sure every walk fits smoothly and reliably into my routine. As a dog walker, I treat every pet like they’re my own — with patience, attentiveness, and care. I always make sure the dog is safely leashed, comfortable, and given plenty of time to sniff, explore, and exercise at their own pace. I bring water for longer walks and keep an eye on weather conditions to ensure their safety and comfort. If I’m entering a client’s home for pick-up or drop-off, I’m extremely respectful of their space. I follow any specific instructions they’ve left, such as wiping paws, locking up, or using a designated entrance. I also make sure food, water, and comfort needs are met if needed, and I always double-check that the home is secure before leaving. Most importantly, I focus on building trust — with the pets and their people — by being consistent, communicative, and kind.

About: I have taken care of many animals since i was 11. I have taken care of many different dogs from energetic puppy’s to older pit bulls. I also have 2 cats and have cat sit for my friends previously. Also I have a rat so i am aware of how to care for rodents. I have also pet sit for my neighbors bird in the past. I currently am unemployed so i am available 24/7 365, especially during the summer. I like to follow an animals routine so i wake up early for my cats and then follow their routines to a T. I am very experienced with cats and dogs so i make sure to read their body language to ensure your pet feels safe and comfortable. I will ensure when walking to keep an eye on your dog and be sure to avoid glass, hot spots, and anything that can cause harm to your dog.

About: I’m a proud dog mom to a 5-year-old Shiba Inu and have also cared for friends’ and neighbors’ dogs and cats over the years. As a pet owner myself, I completely understand the worry that comes with being away from your furry companion. That’s why I treat every pet in my care as if they were my own—with patience, love, and attention to detail. I'm responsive, reliable, and committed to making sure both you and your pet feel safe and comfortable. I have a flexible schedule that allows me to dedicate quality time to caring for your pet. I’m available for daytime check-ins and walks, and I can easily adjust to your pet’s routine and specific needs to help them feel comfortable and cared for. In your home, I’ll follow your pet’s routine closely—whether it’s feeding schedules, walk times, or play preferences—to keep things familiar and stress-free. I always treat your home with respect and maintain a clean, safe environment for your pet. You’ll receive regular updates with messages, photos, or videos, so you can feel confident knowing your pet is in good hands while you're away.

About: Walking my non-leash trained puppy was something that I never thought would be so hard. Through perseverance and repetition our walks have been much more enjoyable. Birkin has been the most rewarding challenge I have ever taken on and I hope to share my experience with her with other dogs around the neighborhood I want to gain more experience with older, more mature dogs in order to apply that experience to my own Birkin has become such a significant part of my life, and she gets so happy during walks that I want to make sure every other puppy in the neighborhood gets their walk too! I make sure all their needs are met ( food, water, bathroom) before focusing on stimulation and play. I want them to feel loved and taken care of.

About: Hello me and my mom both wfh and love animals but don’t have any animals of our own so I convinced my mom it would be a fun way to learn about different breeds of dogs and cats! We have been doing petsitting for over 3 years now and love having a cute furry coworker by our side while we work. I have experience working with puppies and senior dogs with health issues. Along with kittens and senior cats. Both me and my mom work from home so our schedule is usually flexible and there will always be one person at home with a pet! I live in an area with little to no traffic. I have an empty guest room where I can allow your pet to roam around. Additional complimentary red light therapy sessions available to help soothe and support your pet’s healing and wellness during their stay.

“I booked Yasmeen last minute to walk my Roxy for the week. She was fantastic. She had no problem accommodating my requests. I got updates and pics of their walks. I will definitely be booking again.”

About: As a vegan, I care deeply for all animals. I’ve grown up around cats and dogs, have volunteered at sanctuaries, and have a sweet cat named Corny. I have many friends with dogs of all sizes and love them all as my own! I’m currently looking for part time/night time/weekend shifts, but am very open to discuss weekday availability. I nanny my niece 3 days during the week, but am free early morning and evenings/nights any day of the week. I give a lot of attention to pets when I visit their home. I recognize it’s their safe space, allowing them plenty of time to get used to my scent and presence, play with toys, and give lots of treats (if and when allowed). I’m also very comfortable with elder or more independent pets who may not be as cuddly or active.

“Jonalynn is always super reliable and gentle with our elderly dog. She’s willing to walk our dog last minute which is so so helpful for my family. Highly recommend!”

“Urusha was absolutely incredible!! I had my fears trusting someone else with my baby boy but she was so sweet, attentive, and careful with Biggie. He really liked her immediately as well! I’m so relieved and thrilled that we found her.”

“Chey was a huge help in looking after my two cats when I had to leave for an out-of-state trip. I had two elderly cats, one of which was high-needs, so I was anxious about leaving them them but Chey is one of my closest and most trusted friends and I knew they'd take good care of them. Fresh Meadows dog parents share their Rover experiences
We users Albina’s service in a pinch and were very pleased with her services. She took the time for a meet and greet, and it was clear she had a passion for caring for animals. She was able to get out somewhat what fussy dog out for a long walk which can be difficult. Look forward to using her service again.
Emily is wonderful. She took the time to meet our dog Cagney before starting to walk him, gain his confidence and assess his needs as well as ours. She is patient and kind. She is punctual and communicates regularly with us if any changes need to be made. She is a big help to us since we can't always walk Cagney and he really looks forward to going for his walk with her.

This is my 2d review of Victoria-the first one never posted. She is the first dogwalker we have ever used and she is wonderful. From the beginning, she took the time to know our dog and assess his needs and bond with him. She loves animals. She is always punctual and has been a tremendous help to us. Our dog really loves his walks with her. She's great and a good reason to use Rover. !

First time using Rover and was so nervous having a stranger in my home and with my pet. Yasmeen definitely eased my fears, is sweet, punctual and professional. On our meet and greet my very reactive and protective dog immediately got on his back and asked for belly rubs! Will be using her indefinitely and so happy to have found her. Thank you Yasmeen!
