About: Hi there! My name is Shane, and I’m based in Taunton, MA, providing pet care all across Massachusetts and RI. I’ve loved animals for as long as I can remember, and over the years I’ve cared for dogs, cats, reptiles, rabbits, guinea pigs, rats, and even chinchillas. My background includes working as a playgroup supervisor at a doggy daycare outside Boston, as well as my former position at Providence Animal Rescue League as a communications coordinator and pet photographer (which means I’d be happy to capture some great photos of your pets, too!). In addition to my hands-on experience, I’m comfortable and experienced with administering medications — including to cats and dogs with special medical needs. I understand the importance of patience and precision when it comes to keeping pets healthy and happy. At home, I share life with my partner Anna (also an animal lover and caregiver), our diabetic cat Nestor, and our two leopard geckos, Meechee and Verne. I also help care for my family’s dog, Finn, whenever I can. Currently, I work mostly remotely, with occasional in office days. This includes feeding on schedule, refreshing water, walks or playtime, administering medication if needed, and of course lots of love and attention. I keep a close eye on their well-being, send updates and photos, and always leave your home just as I found it. To be able to stay in your home is a privilege in itself, so I thank you for the hospitality! When pets stay with me, I provide a safe and cozy environment, enrichment through play, and plenty of supervised attention. I believe in treating every animal as if they were my own — making sure they’re happy, healthy, and cared for in the way that suits them best.

About: I love dogs and I’ve had a dog since I was two years old so most of my life I’ve had dogs and I’ve like had experience with them I have a dog myself, so I’m able to take care of a dog very easily. I have to wake up early for my dog so that won’t be an issue taking care of another dog. I’ll make sure I always keep an eye on the dog that I am watching over. Take them out for a walk and also keeping an eye on the dog and giving them attention. Just always make sure you’re aware of your environment.

About: What sets me apart is that I really take the time to get to know each dog and what makes them happiest. I’ve worked with everything from wiggly puppies who need a little help with training to older dogs who just want a slow, peaceful walk and some extra TLC. I’m super patient, reliable, and treat every dog like they’re my own. Whether your pup wants to run, sniff, play, or just take it easy, I’ll make sure they’re safe, comfortable, and having a great time. Pet care fits into my routine perfectly. I have tons of free time, so your pet gets my full attention and flexibility. Whether it’s early morning walks, midday check-ins, or evening playtime, I’m able to adapt to your pet’s schedule and needs. I genuinely enjoy spending time with animals, so caring for them doesn’t feel like a job it’s just a great part of my day. When I care for pets at your home, I try to keep everything as normal as possible for them. I stick to their usual feeding and walk times, give any meds they need, and just hang out to keep them company. I’m not perfect, but I’m always patient and caring, and I make sure to keep their space clean and safe. I’ll check in with you regularly so you know how they’re doing. If I’m watching pets at my place, I make sure they have a cozy spot to relax and plenty of attention. I’m pretty chill and try to keep things low-stress so they feel comfortable. Either way, I just want your pet to feel safe and cared for, even if I’m not perfect!

About: I have l had the responsibility of taking care of my home pets ever since I could remember. We’ve always had a full house with dogs, cats, turtles, lizards, guinea pigs, chickens, and even a macaw. I have experience with senior dogs that require extra care as I have one of my own. I have also taken a few puppy training classes that I have used on my dogs as well as pups of close friends. Most of my pets have been rescues and I was able to use those skills to break bad, destructive habits that could’ve resulted in injury. I am currently a full time college student and a part time medical assistant at an urgent care clinic. Typically, I would have the most time to commit to intensive pet care in the early mornings, early afternoons, late evenings, and weekends. My dogs are crate trained and my pets typically spend their nights in their designated areas. In the mornings everyone is opened, greeted with many pets and kisses, and fed. The dogs are walked and trained for a bit before my departure. I make sure to leave a few brain engaging toys/ treats while gone for the day. Once I return, the process is repeated with a longer evening walk and extra cuddle time. My senior dog required a bit more attention with daily injections and a specific diet. I am sure I would take care of your pet with the same care and love I give my pets.

About: Dogs have been a part of my life since I was five years old, and that love has never wavered. Over the past five decades, I’ve cared for an extraordinary range of breeds such as German Shepherds, Labrador Retrievers, Collies, Lhasa Apsos, Jack Russells, American Staffordshire Terriers, English Bulldogs, and Chihuahuas, among others. I currently share my home with three Chihuahuas of my own, ranging from 8 months to 7 years old, so your dog will always have friendly, familiar company. My experience goes well beyond basic care: I have bottle fed newborn Chihuahuas rejected by their mother, and I am currently completing CPR certification specifically for dogs. I am bully breed friendly and comfortable with a wide variety of temperaments and sizes. I bring reliability, genuine dedication, and a deep belief that every dog deserves the highest standard of love and respect, and you can be sure that is exactly what your pet will receive in my care. As a semi-retired professional who works from home, my schedule is highly flexible and centered around my three dogs. Your pet will never be left alone for long stretches; I'm home the vast majority of the day, which means regular walks, playtime, meals, and attention are built into the routine naturally. I treat pet care not as a side task but as a core part of my day. Your dog will be staying on a private two-acre property with a semi enclosed backyard: plenty of space to run, explore, and decompress. Please note that the front yard is not fenced, so all outdoor front-yard time is leashed and supervised. Inside, your pet will have a dedicated private room, cozy bedding, and a crate available upon request (crate reimbursement appreciated). In the event of any medical concern, the nearest emergency veterinary clinic is conveniently located on State Road in Swansea.

About: I have always loved animals, since I was a kid. At 14 I started working at an animal shelter where I gained a lot of experience with dogs and cats as well as other animals of all sizes. I have always had a habit of bringing home animals in need and helping to find them a home. I also had my own cat, a large Maine coon for about 12 years. Never met a pet I didn’t like! Currently have open availability! S-Sat. Morning, Afternoons and nights. Afternoons work best but morning appointments are always welcome with at least one days notice! Late night check ins also available if need be! Spacious fenced in yard, no other pets currently. Lots of toys from previous pets to keep your loved one busy and stimulated. Located very close to several trail heads where dogs can play exercise and be one with nature !
