“Having moved recently to New Bedford, we didn´t have any close friends or relatives to leave our Lhasa Apso Johann with. We are so glad we came accross Taylor and Tyler on the Rover platform. They responded to my first contact almost immediately and were very attentive in getting back to me so we could arrange our meet and greet. They took care of Johann for 5 nights and would send me pictures daily and keep me posted. Johann adapted very well and we could see he was being well taken care of and having a fun time! About: I’ve been taking care of dogs and cats since I was 9. I’ve owned aggressive / reactive dogs, dogs who need a lot of management, sport dogs, working dogs, and other animals with special needs. My personal dogs are elderly now and need more special care and I conduct all of it. I currently work a part time job Monday-Thursday from 9-3. My weekends are generally free as well! Overall my schedule is incredibly flexible. I have a well fenced in yard and basement entirely dedicated to dogs! You can look us up at Angie’s pet care (Middleboro Mass). But our boarding dogs are allowed to be on the other floors with us (only when supervised) but someone is home majority of the day.

About: I’ve cared for dogs my whole life and truly love having them around. I do tend to spoil them, but I always follow the instructions you, the parent, provide. I have had senior dogs and puppies and always give them the extra care they need. We are a retired couple and always enjoy having a dog around us. We have plenty of time to play with pups, and give them lots of love. We have a fenced in backyard to play in, comfortable beds to sleep in. We won’t be taken in other family's dogs while yours is here.

I can handle dogs around other pets, acting to keep everyone involved comfortable and safe. I have lots of free time after classes and only a part time work schedule in the summer. I am able to make time morning, afternoon and night! Until August 15th, I will be living with two roommates. One of which have a cat and a dog who are very friendly. I aim to keep boarding to a minimum until I move into my new space where I will have a lot more room and there would be no. concern with pets interacting and living with other pets that they do not know.
About: I volunteer at my local animal shelter and I am great with both dogs and cats. I grew up with my cat, Hepsiba, born before me who died when I was nearly 20 years of age. We were best friends before I knew what that was. Then at the age of 12 or so, my parents adopted 2 English cocker spaniels, brother and sister. Robbie and Flora. So I was taking care of three pets. Then I raised Bruce, a rescued black lab mix from August 2013 until 2025 with some breaks for the US Army. And I taught him very well; he passed in June 2025 but he will always be my companion at my side. For some time I carried him, 120 lbs, up and down flights of stairs. Sometimes from here to there, carefully, comfortably, gingerly. I have a background in psychology, and I’m a dog trainer and a bit of a behaviorist. I’ve taken care of pets for family members and friends. And did so professionally in the past prior to Rover, after friends got me into it, which I started in August 2025. I’m great with animals. After spending even just a short time with them we can often establish a connection or rapport, especially when training a younger pet (or caring for an older dog). I enjoy taking dogs for long walks, I could run with your dog, play with them, but mostly we’ll be doing what they want - within reason. I will basically be spending the entire time with your pets. We’ll wake up between five to eight in the morning, and we’ll go bed between eight and eleven at night. I’ll be up with them as they need and we’ll be in and out much more than is required. I am delicate and meticulous and believe in leaving no trace that I was there. I want my client after their time away from home and their animals to not be met with the mess that I could be leaving behind. I am committed to performing an act of cleaning based on the tools available.

They responded to my first contact almost immediately and were very attentive in getting back to me so we could arrange our meet and greet. They took care of Johann for 5 nights and would send me pictures daily and keep me posted. Johann adapted very well and we could see he was being well taken care of and having a fun time! We are so happy and thankful we now have a place to leave him when we next have to travel without him!”
About: I’ve been taking care of dogs and cats since I was 9. I’ve owned aggressive / reactive dogs, dogs who need a lot of management, sport dogs, working dogs, and other animals with special needs. My personal dogs are elderly now and need more special care and I conduct all of it. I currently work a part time job Monday-Thursday from 9-3. My weekends are generally free as well! Overall my schedule is incredibly flexible. I have a well fenced in yard and basement entirely dedicated to dogs! You can look us up at Angie’s pet care (Middleboro Mass). But our boarding dogs are allowed to be on the other floors with us (only when supervised) but someone is home majority of the day.
