“Shelley insisted that she meet our 2 pups prior to accepting the job. We loved that part because she made us feel calmer about our first experience with Rover. She sent us pictures of them while we were gone and then seemed so happy, which made us happy! 5 star review! She is amazing! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️”

“Susan did a great job taking care of Torti while we were in St. Lucia. Her communication was excellent, lots of updates and she always asked questions when needed. We had to shift our trip dates last minute, and she was super flexible and easy to work with. She handled some challenging weather really well and clearly took great care of him. I’d definitely book her again!”

“I booked Emily last minute in a panic after a sitter did not show up and she did amazing! My little Kensee is elderly and comes with long instructions and she took it all in stride! I can tell Kensee took well to her, even though she was a last minute stranger. She was so responsive and responsible. Thank you so much Emily!!”

“Angela is wonderful. She sent me feedback and pictures every time she came to visit the house. I have a special needs pet and she knew I was worried about him, and she took extra special care of him. She even took the time to win over my skittish kitty who NEVER comes out. I was so impressed. I highly recommend her, and I will definitely be using her again. She is friendly, professional, and a joy to work with. :)”

“I’m so glad I found Lauren to watch my fur babies! She was very flexible which I appreciate. She had excellent communication, sent updates, and sent pictures during her visits which is always the best! I highly recommend if you’re looking for a reliable pet sitter!”

“Emma was amazing to our little Archer! She was attentive and wanted to meet us prior to the visit, which was much appreciated. We would totally recommend her to anyone looking for a pet sitter!”

About: I love all animals! I have owned a chameleon, cat dog, hamster you name it I’ve had it. I enjoy animals so I can ensure your baby will be taken care of as my own! My availability is from Monday - Thursday 6:00am - 3:30pm! :) Friday I’m completely available! :) If needed I can also do 10:00pm - 1:00am I had four cats and they had their own room! They had plenty of cat toys and many cat trees. They are my children so there isn’t anything I wouldn’t do for them.
About: I’m comfortable caring for birds, rodents, cats, and dogs of all sizes! I’m also able to tend to reptiles though my experience there is limited. I work for myself and set my own schedule. I am primarily a personal shopper and a dive master so I’m able to adjust my schedule to fit your needs. I think it’s least disruptive to animals when they can remain in a familiar environment. Therefore, I prefer to handle pet care from the client’s home. I am available for quick visits or longer overnight stays and I am happy to provide several references upon request.
About: Hi! My name is Logan and my husband Alex and I are newer to Freeport but can be available anytime usually, even last minute! My background is I’ve been a registered nurse for the past five years and I have had animals in my home all of my life, so I am very familiar with dogs and cats! I would love to provide the care that I would want my own animals to have. I am available for drop ins and walks and boarding as well. Please message me to meet, even if it’s last minute! We are new to the area so looking forward to meeting you and your furry friends! I am pretty flexible on days so please message me so we can work out a one time or multiple time a week visit or walk! At this time I’m available for drop ins and walks and boarding. I am available to come do drop ins multiple times a day and even available last minute!
About: I have always had a dog by my side so I have a lot of experience. In our household live with us, our 2 year old Belgian shepherd Dodge, who needs to be worked out daily and our 12 year old Labrador mix Bella. For me, what counts is that our dogs are family members, so your dog is also in very good hands with me Since I am a housewife and mother, I am very flexible. If discussed in advance, I can also walk your dog on the weekends. Ich hatte morgens The dogs are allowed to move freely in our house. They can go on the couch or with us on the bed or playing in our backyard . If I’m in your house, I will play with them, cuddle and make your dogs feel safe
“Camryn did a great job with a last minute drop-in for our senior dog Mala. She left detailed commentary on how the visit went, and seems to be gentle and caring. I would use her again!”
About: I've had a special place in my heart for dogs since I was a kid. I was the designated puppy trainer, groomer, and bestie for our family pups growing up. I have my own sweet mini labradoodle, Lainey, who loves company! I've helped with family and friends' pets my whole life, and I'm excited to have a new schedule these days that allows me to help out pet parents on Rover. I currently study from home, so I have plenty of time for your pup! I don't have any obligations away from home, so if your pup needs a little extra attention, feel free to say so, and I'll accommodate the best I can. I have a roomy apartment and a screened-in porch. When we're not on walks or at the park, my pup loves hanging out on the porch with the fans on for some fresh air (door to the inside kept cracked open). My apartment is toddler-proofed and safe, and I'm always around to keep an eye on your pup. We have plenty of chew toys, treats, and fun to go around :)

I had a lot of animals growing up as a kid and it would feel weird if I didn’t have one around I use to babysit animals as a side job in school to make money on the weekends and always enjoyed it .i love being around different pets I’ve always said I have more dog friends then actual friends !! :) I also use to volunteer to walk dogs after school for the shelters never felt like work to me just fun and full with love! Hopefully see you soon!!!
About: Hi there! I’m an Alaqua Animal Refuge approved foster momma! I treat every animal like they’re part of my family, not just a booking. My goal is to make your pet feel safe, loved, and comfortable while you’re away — whether that means structured walks, playtime, or plenty of snuggles on the couch. You’ll receive regular updates, photos, and communication so you always know how your pet is doing because I know how important peace of mind is when trusting someone with your best friend. Pet care fits naturally into my daily schedule because I own my own business and work from home. This allows me to provide frequent supervision, potty breaks, walks, and plenty of attention throughout the day. I also have the flexibility to step away when needed for walks, drop-ins, or special care requests, so pets receive consistent care without long periods alone. I adjust care to each dog’s personality and needs — whether that’s structure and patience for puppies or extra comfort and gentle care for seniors. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I follow routines closely and provide regular updates and photos so owners always feel reassured. My goal is simple — happy, comfortable pets and owners who feel completely at ease while they’re away.
“Samantha is the perfect person for Mr. Franks. She was very kind and patient with him. It only took two drop ins for him to warm up to her. Samantha is punctual and flexible when I needed to adjust my schedule. I’m glad I found her on Rover.”

- 100% can help with giving oral medications or injections
- 100% can help with daily exercise

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
