About: I’ve taken care of all types of fur babies since I could remember, my mom would literally always have animals and dogs growing up. I am extremely organized, love going by a set schedule/instructions, go on many walks, and would love the extra company! I currently work full time in a clinic, Monday-Thursday 7-4p and Fridays 7-12p. I am off every weekend! Never work any holidays. My apartment has an enclosed dog park with a very safe/peaceful neighborhood to walk. I have one fur baby to keep them company who loves all and every one and fur baby.
About: Hi! I’m a reliable, caring pet sitter who offers dog walking, drop-in visits, house sitting, and boarding — both in my home and in yours. I truly love animals and treat every pet like part of my family. I’m very responsive, flexible, and available for last-minute and short-notice bookings. My goal is to make pet care easy and stress-free for you — and fun for your pet 🐾 Whether your pet needs a quick walk, overnight care, or full-time attention while you’re away, I focus on keeping them safe, comfortable, and happy. I send regular photo and message updates so you always know how your pet is doing.

“Emma was available last minute when another sitter canceled, came right away and took care of my pup for the weekend! I could enjoy my trip knowing my dog was in good hands”

“Camryn did a great job with a last minute drop-in for our senior dog Mala. She left detailed commentary on how the visit went, and seems to be gentle and caring. I would use her again!”
“Dear Ashley, thank you so much for taking care of our babies and all the new toys you got them! I was really worried to leave them for this long, but so grateful for you being there for them. We will definitely reach back out if we are away again 🙏❤️”

About: I have always had a dog by my side so I have a lot of experience. In our household live with us, our 2 year old Belgian shepherd Dodge, who needs to be worked out daily and our 12 year old Labrador mix Bella. For me, what counts is that our dogs are family members, so your dog is also in very good hands with me Since I am a housewife and mother, I am very flexible. If discussed in advance, I can also walk your dog on the weekends. Ich hatte morgens The dogs are allowed to move freely in our house. They can go on the couch or with us on the bed or playing in our backyard . If I’m in your house, I will play with them, cuddle and make your dogs feel safe
About: Hi! My name is Logan and my husband Alex and I are newer to Freeport but can be available anytime usually, even last minute! My background is I’ve been a registered nurse for the past five years and I have had animals in my home all of my life, so I am very familiar with dogs and cats! I would love to provide the care that I would want my own animals to have. I am available for drop ins and walks and boarding as well. Please message me to meet, even if it’s last minute! We are new to the area so looking forward to meeting you and your furry friends! I am pretty flexible on days so please message me so we can work out a one time or multiple time a week visit or walk! At this time I’m available for drop ins and walks and boarding. I am available to come do drop ins multiple times a day and even available last minute!

About: Hi! I’m 35 years old and a very nurturing, attentive caregiver who genuinely loves being around animals. I take pet care seriously and treat every dog like they’re my own, with a strong focus on safety, comfort, and making sure they feel at home. I’m very observant and detail oriented, so I quickly pick up on a dog’s personality, routine, and needs. Whether your dog is high energy or more laid back, I adjust to what makes them happiest. I have a two year old Australian Shepherd who is extremely friendly, submissive, and great with both dogs and cats. He loves playing with other dogs, so if your pup enjoys social time, they’ll have a built in buddy. I also stay active and make sure dogs get plenty of exercise, walks, and playtime. I have small children who are gentle, respectful, and great with animals, so your dog will be in a loving, family environment with lots of attention. Your dog’s safety and happiness are my top priorities. I have experience with both large and small breeds and understand that every dog is different. You can trust that your pet will be well cared for, loved, and treated like part of the family. I’m currently working part time, so I have plenty of time to play with your pups! We typically take our dog for two walks a day for 30 to 45 minutes. We have a very friendly, Australian Shepherd that loves to play, and is very cold. My dogs never leave my eyes as they are my top priority. We have a closed in deck, and we also have leads to put on the dogs with supervision in the backyard. Our Australian Shepherd has been socialized since he was eight weeks so he is a very well tempered balanced dog.
“Samantha is the perfect person for Mr. Franks. She was very kind and patient with him. It only took two drop ins for him to warm up to her. Samantha is punctual and flexible when I needed to adjust my schedule. I’m glad I found her on Rover.”

About: Hi there! I’m an Alaqua Animal Refuge approved foster momma! I treat every animal like they’re part of my family, not just a booking. My goal is to make your pet feel safe, loved, and comfortable while you’re away — whether that means structured walks, playtime, or plenty of snuggles on the couch. You’ll receive regular updates, photos, and communication so you always know how your pet is doing because I know how important peace of mind is when trusting someone with your best friend. Pet care fits naturally into my daily schedule because I own my own business and work from home. This allows me to provide frequent supervision, potty breaks, walks, and plenty of attention throughout the day. I also have the flexibility to step away when needed for walks, drop-ins, or special care requests, so pets receive consistent care without long periods alone. I adjust care to each dog’s personality and needs — whether that’s structure and patience for puppies or extra comfort and gentle care for seniors. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I follow routines closely and provide regular updates and photos so owners always feel reassured. My goal is simple — happy, comfortable pets and owners who feel completely at ease while they’re away.

About: I have been caring for animals for most of my life, including owning my first dog as an adult six years ago. I also adopted my cat at age one, and she is now 12 years old. Over the years, I have gained extensive hands-on experience with a variety of animals, including providing in-home pet sitting services for other families. Our household includes three children, a dog, and a cat, so we are very accustomed to a lively, active environment. Because of this, we understand the importance of pets being comfortable in a family setting and able to adapt to a busy, energetic home. We spend much of our time outdoors and prioritize daily walks, exercise, and engagement for the animals in our care. Animals have always been a central part of my life, and I have a particular love for dogs—especially Golden Retrievers, which are a beloved breed in our family. In addition to being a dedicated pet owner, I have been professionally caring for dogs for approximately 10 years, providing reliable, attentive, and compassionate care. I’m at stay at home mom, so much of my time is spent at home with my children and animals. If I’m away from home I’m typically only gone for a couple hours at a time especially if I have another animal in our home. We can be very accommodating depending to what your dog(s) need. We are very active inside and outside our home. Playing fetch, going for walks & taking your dogs outside is all priority!

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
