“Heather was absolutely fantastic with our pups. No fuss, sent us photos each day. My babies were healthy and happy when we got back. She has my recommendation for sure.”

About: I have cared for and trained my dog, my mother’s and grandmother’s dogs. I have also provided a variety of personal home-care services to senior citizens, special needs children & nannied off and on throughout my early adult life. I love caring for and helping others. I substitute teach during the school year and I would love to care for pets during the summer time! It is my goal to at least work part time on top of another part time job! :) I have an apartment where I can keep pets for a short amount of time; we have a nice walking area and a dog park.
“Alex took wonderful care of Donny! We are so thankful! We were traveling for a family vacation but needed a few night for Donny to stay somewhere - I was nervous but she sent wonderful updates and took wonderful care of him!”

“David & Krysta took such great care of Enzo while we were away. Great communication and were flexible with our needs for pickup & drop off. Seemed like Enzo felt right at home with them”

“Logan is great! She always takes great care of my dog and he leaves happy and exhausted! She is also very flexible with drop off and pick up times which is great. I will always go to Logan first if I need someone to watch my dog!”

“Dakota was absolutely amazing! Her whole family made my puppy's first time away from us so smooth. I got plenty of pictures and videos while I was gone, and I could tell he was having a great time with them and their sweet dog. I highly recommend her for your pup. I had no fear leaving Kirk with her after our meet and greet because I could tell she would make sure my pup is very well cared for and loved. Zero complaints. Dakota is awesome!”

“Brittney was terrific watching our dog. She always responded in a timely manner, was completely flexible to any requests/concerns we had, and provided us regular photos and feedback of the visit. Our dog is fairly anxious and doesn't spend much time alone. Leaving him at a traditional boarding kennel causes a lot of stress on all of us. Brittney did great watching him, and he seemed to be very comfortable with her. We had a terrific vacation knowing he was in good hands while were at the beach. I would absolutely recommend her services.”

“Anna is incredible! ? While we were away, we didn’t stress once about our golden retriever being taken care of. She sent pictures daily and took such great care our little guy! If you want someone to spend quality time with your fur friend, Anna should be your go-to rover!”

“My husband and I were so happy to have found this very sweet family to take care of our Rosie! They definitely made our medical trip much easier knowing she was loved and well taken care of.”

“We can't thank Erik enough.. cause we were a pain in the neck. Switching days and extending our vacation and he was so understanding and polite.. he contacted us every morning with updates and new pics of our dog and our dog looked happy and healthy in every Pic.. we could tell when we picked our dog up he was very well taken care of loved the whole time he was with Erik.. we couldn't be happier and will use Erik everytime we vacation in the destin area.. so if you need a sitter in his area do yourself and your pet a big favor and contact Erik.. thank you again Erik”

“Would definitely recommend! I know my girl had a great time here (apparently she loved the pool). Kayla/Richard provided photos throughout her stay and updated us on what she had been up to. Will definitely be using in the future!”

“As always they took excellent care of our fur babies, even our high strung Aussie. Super flexible when a tropical storm interfered with our vacation causing us to get home late. Highly recommend.”

“Brittany was amazing when she took care of our dogs for a whole week! We boarded them at her home and I’m know our pups enjoyed their stay! She updated us everyday and we are forever grateful! We would use her again in a heartbeat!”

“Ashton has kept our GSD puppy for us twice now, one stay being just one night and the other 9 days long and has done great both times. We will definitely continue to use Ashton and recommend her to friends. Reya is about to stay with her for another week while we go get married and it’s nice knowing our girl will be well taken care of, still be able to have her regular routine, and not be stuck in a kennel all day.”

“Ashlea took care of my dog Suki this past weekend after I contacted her on very short notice. We scheduled a meet-and-greet the same day I reached out. During our weekend vacation, she sent me several cute pictures of my dog with quick updates on how she's doing and settling in. I'm grateful I found her on Rover. We'll definitely be back for more mini-vacations. Thank you for taking care of our sweet dog, Ashlea & Family”

“We had a great experience! Ginny was very nice, kept us updated with pictures, and took great care of Cali and Diego. They’re both completely knocked out today, so I’m pretty sure they had a great time! 😂 We felt comfortable leaving them in her care and would definitely book with her again. Highly recommend!”

“Koda absolutely loved his stay and was very well taken care of. His family had lots of love to give to Koda during his stay. We will absolutely always have him and his family take care of Koda when we are away.”

Sierra and her children were fantastic. They took great care of my boys and kept us updated everyday with messages and pictures of their wellbeing. She has a very beautiful and clean house, that gave us a lot of comfort knowing that my dogs would be in a clean and well organized environment at all times. My wife and I highly recommend Sierra for your pet boarding needs. Thank you Sierra and kids for your loving care and kindness.

Samantha sent updates once or twice every day, plus several pictures. I always knew exactly how each day had gone. She was very good about taking our energetic little puppy out for sunshine and playtime. She was very sweet and understanding and I highly recommend her!

By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
