I’m retired with a lot of time to pay attention to your pup. I volunteer at a local shelter too. Dogs that come into my home are well cared and loved. I ask if boarding with me that all vaccinations are up to date. I will play with your dog inside. I am unable to walk high energy and dogs that pull over 45 #. If your dog is a senior and is large and doesn’t pull, I will be happy to walk them. I am sorry, but I am only able to board one dog at a time.

A typical day
I will feed and play with your dog if they want. A lot of experience playing tug of war! Love to cuddle pups if they need that in their day. I give little mini massages to relieve any tension they have from missing you.

I’ve had many dogs over the years. I fostered pups for GMDAP in NE OH last few years and well versed in doggy healthcare. Excellent references can be obtained.

We felt completely comfortable leaving our dogs in Susan’s care and would absolutely book with her again.
Susan did a great job taking care of Torti while we were in St. Lucia. Her communication was excellent, lots of updates and she always asked questions when needed. We had to shift our trip dates last minute, and she was super flexible and easy to work with. She handled some challenging weather really well and clearly took great care of him. I’d definitely book her again!
