“Cindy was amazing! Very tentative with pictures and updates. Luna wanted nothing to do with me when she came 😂😂 she wanted to go back! lol Cindy made it convenient by picking up and dropping Lu off since it was going to be logistically a nightmare for me! She even noticed that Lu has some hip issue with her age and gave some great advice, thankfully I was already in the process of getting her checked out but it was great that she noticed too. Will definitely be rebooking!”

“I can say honestly hands down Emili was the best. I’ve never had to leave lax with anyone , so when this trip came up , I needed someone I could trust explicitly. I met Emili with Lax one afternoon and he definitely liked her as well as I did. She took notes about lax ( habits, eating schedules , vet and was very thorough with anll her questions . She went over hs medications and kept me abreast of all that he was doing . I so appreciated the pics and check ins as it made the trip much easier . I knowing he was so well taken care of . I would definitely use Emili again .”

“Daniela was the best one could hope for. Very welcoming. Very prompt and communicative. Took wonderful care of my little one and sent lots of great pictures. Very highly recommend.”

“I am so grateful for David & Krysta! They had the best communication, always proactively sent me updates and photos so I had peace of mind that my high-energy pup was doing well and well cared for! Thank you so much!”

“Tracey was awesome! She made sure Johnny was comfortable and sent me pictures with updates throughout my time away. Johnny can be a little difficult and clingy so I appreciated Tracey dealing with that and go that extra mile to make him comfortable! Highly recommend her to watch your fur babies if needed.”

About: I love dogs but want the flexibility to travel, so I thought I’d watch other people’s dogs to get my fill! Your babies will get lots if love here! I had a dog for 13 years and recently fostered a couple of dogs. I also have a cat, but she’ll mostly just hide if I’m watching a dog here. I have a fenced in yard and have given pills to dogs before. Your babies will be in good hands. I work full-time, but not the typical 8-5. I typically leave home around 10:30 and get back around 4, Mon-Thur. your fur baby will get lots of attention and care. I have a fenced in yard in a quiet neighborhood. I have dog crates here already, and some toys! My cat will be hiding, so your baby will get lots of love!
“I cannot recommend this dog sitter enough! She was absolutely amazing from start to finish. Not only did she take incredible care of my dog, but she went above and beyond by picking her up and even giving her a bath before bringing her home. Her patio is perfect for high-energy dogs, with plenty of space to run, play, and burn off energy safely. It was such a relief knowing my dog was getting exercise, attention, and lots of love while I was away. Communication was excellent, and it was clear that she genuinely cares about the dogs she watches. My pup came home happy, clean, and exhausted from all the fun she had. I would trust her with my dog again in a heartbeat and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable, caring, and exceptional dog sitter!”

“Koda absolutely loved his stay and was very well taken care of. His family had lots of love to give to Koda during his stay. We will absolutely always have him and his family take care of Koda when we are away.”

“Cheri took care of our Goldendoodle Sadie while we were on vacation. This was the first time leaving Sadie and I was very nervous to leave her with someone new. She has separation anxiety when when she is away from me. Cheri talked to me over the phone prior to booking and set my mind at ease. Cheri has experience dealing with high anxiety dogs multiple times. I chose Cheri knowing that Sadie would be with someone in her home most of the time. Drop off was a smooth transition for us and she assured us Sadie was in good hands. I received several pictures, videos, and messages updating us on how she was adjusting. It only took Sadie a few days to be comfortable. I was shocked how well she did adjust. Cheri and her family loved Sadie like one of their own. She got to sleep with them and they did everything needed to make her comfortable. I highly recommend Cheri if you are in her area for any service she offers. I was very please with the care Sadie received and appreciate her loving her when we were away.”

About: I have been around and caring for dogs my entire life. Dogs have always been an important part of my family, and I understand how much they mean to their owners. Over the years, I have gained experience caring for dogs with different personalities, energy levels, and needs. I know that every dog is different, and I take the time to get to know each one and make them feel comfortable and at home. I provide a safe, loving environment with plenty of attention, care, and companionship. When your dog stays with me, you can feel confident knowing they will be treated like a member of the family and cared for with the same love and attention I would want for my own dog. My wife and I are both retired, so we are home most of the day and night. Your dog will have plenty of companionship and won't be left alone for long periods. We treat every dog like part of the family and will follow their normal routine, including feeding, potty breaks, walks, playtime, and any special needs. Your dog will stay in a clean, comfortable home with a secure, fenced-in yard for safe outdoor time and play. I take the time to learn each dog's personality, routine, and needs so they feel comfortable and secure. Your pet's safety and well-being are always my top priority.

About: Lifelong owner - Great Dane, Pit-bull, Puggle, German Shepherd + cats. I grew up with a Great Dane (gentle giants + large breed care), a Pit-bull (high energy, strong, total love bug – Big on positive reinforcement), a Puggle (small dog sass + sniffy walks), and cats, so I’m comfortable with any size, breed or personality. I currently have a German Shepherd, who is friendly, social, and great with other dogs. He’s up-to-date on vaccines and loves having playmates. Your dog will get a built-in buddy for supervised play in our big fenced backyard, but I always do slow introductions and can keep them separate if needed for meals/naps. If your dog prefers people only, just let me know and I’ll manage it. I’ve been pet sitting since I was 11 – boarding, daycare, walks, droppings, puppies to seniors. Very comfortable with basic training: sit, stay, crate, training, potty training, leash, manners, no jumping, and sticking to your routine. I’m a stay at home mom, so I’m home all day. Dogs here get potty breaks every 1-2 hours in the backyard, lots of exercise, photo updates, and never left alone for long. I’m a stay-at-home mom, so pet care is my full daily routine and I’m home 24/7. Dogs get potty breaks every 1-2 hours in our big fenced backyard, morning and afternoon play sessions, walks, training practice, and lots of cuddles. I have a friendly German Shepherd who loves play buddies, and we spend most of the day outside. Available for boarding and daycare 7 days a week, including holidays. Safety is my top priority. Big fully fenced backyard with supervised play only – dogs are never outside alone. Small, clean, dog-proofed home, dogs never left alone long. Slow introductions with my friendly German Shepherd, separate feeding/sleeping if needed. Daily photo and video updates, I follow your feeding and crate routine exactly, and happy to do Meet and Greets first. I believe pets are just people with fur ❤️

About: I have taken care of pets since I was old enough to scoop food into a bowl! I have always had cats and dogs and can’t imagine life without them. I currently have a cat and Goldendoodle of my own. I recently transitioned into a low stress remote job, giving me plenty of time to take my pup on walks and to the park. Prior to this, I dealt with finding the daily time to give my own pets the exercise and attention they deserve. I am more than happy to give others the relief I found from pet sitting/walking since I have a lot more time on my hands! I am happy to make any accommodations needed when caring for pets in their own homes, and strive to keep them as comfortable and in routine as possible! As someone who also needs pet sitters when traveling, I know the importance of feeling confident with who is caring for your pets. Whatever I can do to make them happy, just say the word!

Madeline took such good care of our senior little Yorkie. Plenty of play time with her dogs, a perfect match for him to be pals with. He needs extra love and care and she went far above to make sure he had everything he needed. She sent plenty of photos and took him on walks. We are very pleased with Madeline and will use her again!!

Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page.
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in FL ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
Adding another pup to the pack? Most sitters and walkers offer a reduced rate for additional dogs. You’ll find these exact rates listed under the "Services" tab on any sitter's profile. Since every dog is unique, final pricing may vary depending on the level of care required.
