About: I am 30 years old and grew up with dogs, horses, goats and cats. I have 2 dogs myself. They are little energetic love balls and I could not imagine my life without them. I am experienced in caring for dogs due to caring for pets of friends and family during their vacation and jobs I have done through rover. My internship at a vet helped me to increase my knowledge about pets and how to care for them even if they are sick and need extra treatment. I would be happy to meet you and your pet before I start helping you out so you know who you are working with. I will do my best to provide the best care for your pet and house. I am available all week. If the visit is after 2:30 I might have my son with me who is just as much of an animal lover as I am. I do not do boarding at the moment as we live in a townhome with a small yard and do not have any room for extra animals.
About: Animals have always been a huge part of my life and heart. I genuinely can’t imagine a world without them. I’ve grown up around animals and naturally form strong, loving bonds, especially with dogs, of all sizes and personalities. Caring for animals doesn’t feel like a job to me; it’s something I truly love and will forever be passionate about. I have a dog of my own, Piko, and my family has a St. Bernard, so I’m very comfortable caring for both small and giant breeds. I’ve sat dogs ranging from 20 lbs to 150 lbs, from high-energy pups to laid-back seniors, and I always tailor my care to what each dog needs to feel happy and secure. Whether it’s long walks, playtime, belly rubs, or just calm companionship, you can count on me to provide a safe, fun, stress-free atmosphere for your pet while you're away! Pet care fits naturally into my routine. I’m already active day-to-day, so walks, feedings, playtime, and check-ins are easy to work into my mornings and evenings, with plenty of flexibility throughout the week. I truly treat every pet as if they were my own. I always follow the owner’s instructions closely, including feeding schedules, walking routines, medications, and any other special care requests. In a client’s home, I make sure pets feel comfortable and stick to their normal routine as much as possible. I pay close attention to behavior, energy levels, and comfort, making sure each pet feels safe, relaxed, and well cared for. Cleanliness, safety, and trust are extremely important to me, and I am aware they are important to you as well, so I make sure to communicate clearly with owners so they always know how their pet is doing!

About: I’m so happy you found my page! My name is Hope & I have been caring for animals since I was 12 years old. I grew up living next door a very diverse farm & spent most of my childhood nurturing animals. I would clean their pens out, feed them, bathe them, collect eggs & spend time with them daily. A plus was caring for their 4 Great Danes and cats when they would go off for trips. As a family, we’ve always been surrounded by our own pups & cats of all kinds. When I grew up & moved away from the farm, I still spent a lot of time caring for animals whether I was walking dogs, volunteering at my local shelter, or staying over night with kittens. I’ve also rescued sea animals that were stranded & vulnerable & sent them back home in full health! I love & have had some experiences with birds as well! Feel free to ask me any questions over my experience with animals! I am a single mother, and currently work from home on my own schedule, so my availability is very flexible for all of your fur babies needs! Also if you become a regular client, I also become very flexible with rates as well! Before arriving to an owner’s home, I read through the information provided thoroughly & treat their home & babies like my own! I also don’t mind doing any other tasks around the house, if it’s been previously discussed.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
