I am able to help at short notice - available for mornings, weekends, and holidays! I always treat dogs like my own - lots of love and pets! I enjoy playing with the dogs and snuggles too, that is if the pup is up for it.
“My husband was away this week and couldn't walk out our dog during the day. Samantha walked our dog 3 days during lunch time. Was punctual, professional, and attentive to our dog's needs. We receive updates and photos, which gives us great peace of mind during the day. Our dog was happy! Highly recommend!”

About: Hi there! I’m an Alaqua Animal Refuge approved foster momma! I treat every animal like they’re part of my family, not just a booking. My goal is to make your pet feel safe, loved, and comfortable while you’re away — whether that means structured walks, playtime, or plenty of snuggles on the couch. You’ll receive regular updates, photos, and communication so you always know how your pet is doing because I know how important peace of mind is when trusting someone with your best friend. Pet care fits naturally into my daily schedule because I own my own business and work from home. This allows me to provide frequent supervision, potty breaks, walks, and plenty of attention throughout the day. I also have the flexibility to step away when needed for walks, drop-ins, or special care requests, so pets receive consistent care without long periods alone. I adjust care to each dog’s personality and needs — whether that’s structure and patience for puppies or extra comfort and gentle care for seniors. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I follow routines closely and provide regular updates and photos so owners always feel reassured. My goal is simple — happy, comfortable pets and owners who feel completely at ease while they’re away.

About: Hello, My name is Britni and I'm a huge lover of animals! I currently have 1 dog, 2 cats, and 3 chickens! 🐕🐈⬛️🐔 I grew up with a father that trained bloodhounds for the Walton County prison and was taught the responsibilities of caring for animals at a young age. As a child I was fascinated to witness the strong bond between man and canine, and had a deep appreciation for the entertainment, safety, and companionship these animals provided. 💗 I began volunteering with the animals at the E. O. Wilson Biophilia center in Freeport earlier this year, and it has solidified that working with animals is a passion of mine. I am currently offering services to do drop ins or take your pup on a walk! Thank you for considering me to work with your beloved pet! 🐾💞 I am currently leaving a decade long career in resturants/hospitality behind, and following my passion of working with animals! I'm very excited to start this new chapter and can be flexible! I do not offer sitting in my home, but will always ensure to be mindful and bring a sharp awareness anytime I am working with someone's beloved pet.
“We hired Ashton to walk our baby while we were out of town and she was staying with my elderly grandparents. She was amazing and shared plenty of pictures for every walk. We will definitely use her again next time we need someone.”

I am retired and no longer have pets but would enjoy helping out with yours. I am retired and have lots of time to play and care for your pets. I currently do not have pets after losing my 22 year old rat terrier last year but would treasure yours like my own. I live in an apartment without a fence but I can take your dog for walks as needed and can give them lots of my time and attention if they are here. Otherwise, I can come to you for their care.
“Charlie was amazing, very friendly, punctual on every visit. My dogs absolutely loved her, which is not easy when you have a shy 2-year-old. We highly recommend her!”

About: I’ve taken care of a variety of dogs for as long as I can remember! From pit bulls to poodles. About: Animals have always been a huge part of my life and heart. I genuinely can’t imagine a world without them. I’ve grown up around animals and naturally form strong, loving bonds, especially with dogs, of all sizes and personalities. Caring for animals doesn’t feel like a job to me; it’s something I truly love and will forever be passionate about. I have a dog of my own, Piko, and my family has a St. Bernard, so I’m very comfortable caring for both small and giant breeds. I’ve sat dogs ranging from 20 lbs to 150 lbs, from high-energy pups to laid-back seniors, and I always tailor my care to what each dog needs to feel happy and secure. As a sitter, I’m attentive, reliable, and someone you can truly trust with your pet while having no doubts on wether they are getting the cuddles and love they deserve.. Whether it’s long walks, playtime, belly rubs, or just calm companionship, you can count on me to provide a safe, fun, stress-free atmosphere for your pet while you're away! Pet care fits naturally into my routine. I’m already active day-to-day, so walks, feedings, playtime, and check-ins are easy to work into my mornings and evenings, with plenty of flexibility throughout the week. I truly treat every pet as if they were my own. I always follow the owner’s instructions closely, including feeding schedules, walking routines, medications, and any other special care requests. In a client’s home, I make sure pets feel comfortable and stick to their normal routine as much as possible. I pay close attention to behavior, energy levels, and comfort, making sure each pet feels safe, relaxed, and well cared for. Cleanliness, safety, and trust are extremely important to me, and I am aware they are important to you as well, so I make sure to communicate clearly with owners so they always know how their pet is doing!

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
