“Thank you for loving Luna for the weekend! We really appreciated the updates and photos! Luna came home so relaxed and happy which shows us she had a great time. See you in June!”

“Daniela was the best one could hope for. Very welcoming. Very prompt and communicative. Took wonderful care of my little one and sent lots of great pictures. Very highly recommend.”

“Barb was absolutely a wonderful dog sitter! Our Labradoodle Ziggi was well taken care of and had a great time with her. Barb was very friendly and easy to communicate with. She kept us informed daily with pictures about how Ziggi was doing. We had an unexpected family emergency and had to fly out on Thanksgiving day which was already stressful and Barb made it so much easier and was very accommodating. Knowing that Ziggi would be taken care of took a lot of stress away from our trip. We would definitely use Barb again to dog sit Ziggi.”

“Thank you so much Ryan & family! You took such great care of Belle! Thank you for the fun pictures too! So happy to find your family to help us out. We promise to ask you again next time we have to go out of town!”

“Monica is awesome! She sent daily photos and updates!!! I could tell by my dog’s GPS that she actually got more exercise with Monica than she does with me! If you show up in Destin with your dog and realize you can’t take them to the beach, please please please reach out to Monica!!! She will take care of your fur baby with as much love as you do 🥰”

I typically leave home around 10:30 and get back around 4, Mon-Thur. your fur baby will get lots of attention and care. I have a fenced in yard in a quiet neighborhood. About: I’ve had pets my whole life and currently have one dog and two cats. I’m comfortable caring for puppies, kittens, high-energy pets, laid-back pets, and seniors who may need extra patience or medication support. I treat every pet like family and tailor care to their personality and routine. Because I have pets of my own, I believe in slow, supervised introductions and a grace period for animals to get comfortable. I never rush interactions—your pet’s safety and comfort come first. Family and friends rely on me to care for their pets whenever they go out of town. I work as a contractor and am usually at my home office. My other office is close by, so if I need to leave, it will only be for a very short period. I’m very flexible with my time and can provide frequent attention, potty breaks, and supervision throughout the day. Our dog gets two walks daily—one early in the morning and one in the evening—and I can adapt that routine to your pet’s needs. I try to stay very aware of the temperature on which they walk as well. I can also administer medications when clear instructions are provided. I care for pets with the same love, patience, and attention I give my own. Dogs have frequent supervised potty breaks and backyard playtime, along with walks, play, and plenty of companionship. Pets also have a comfortable, quiet room available if they need a break from noise, activity, and the evil vacuum. I follow each pet’s normal routine as closely as possible and adjust care based on their age, energy level, and comfort. About: What sets me apart is my medical background and hands-on animal experience across a wide range of species. I worked veterinarian settings for 6-10 years, so I’m comfortable monitoring health changes, administering basic medications, and recognizing early signs of illness or distress. Safety and attentiveness come naturally to me. I also hold a Bachelors in agriculture, which gives me a strong understanding of animal behavior, nutrition, and proper husbandry. I regularly foster puppies and dogs, as well as cats and kittens, so I’m experienced with: • Potty training & crate training • Socialization and basic obedience • Bottle feeding & neonatal care • Senior pet comfort and mobility support Your pets won’t just be watched — they’ll be understood, monitored, and genuinely cared for like family. As a stay-at-home mom, my days are centered around caring for others — which makes pet visits a natural and dedicated part of my routine. I structure my schedule around reliable drop-ins, giving each pet calm, unhurried attention and consistent care throughout the day. I follow feeding schedules closely, refresh water, administer medications if needed, and provide attentive companionship tailored to each pet’s personality — whether that’s playtime, enrichment, quiet company, or extra cuddles. I’m respectful of your home, clean in my habits, and mindful of details. I send consistent updates with photos so you can feel fully at ease while you’re away. My goal is for you to return to a happy, relaxed pet and a home just as you left it.
“Renee is nice, her house is nice (although I didn't see the backyard so I can't comment there). She has several small dogs who played with Walter. She was good about texting pictures and communication.”

“Tessa was so ic redo my mind, and to be honest I hope no one is steered away by the other very few negative reviews she has. We are all human. Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Alys Beach
Madeline took such good care of our senior little Yorkie. Plenty of play time with her dogs, a perfect match for him to be pals with. He needs extra love and care and she went far above to make sure he had everything he needed. She sent plenty of photos and took him on walks. We are very pleased with Madeline and will use her again!!

While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in FL ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
Adding another pup to the pack? Most sitters and walkers offer a reduced rate for additional dogs. You’ll find these exact rates listed under the "Services" tab on any sitter's profile. Since every dog is unique, final pricing may vary depending on the level of care required.
