About: Hi there! I relocated to the 30A area this past spring from Colorado, where I was previously offering my animal care services. I look forward to continuing to connect with new individuals & families here that are seeking quality care for their beloved pets! Feel free to reach out with any questions. I am currently available for housesitting, dog walking, and drop-in visits. Please note that for housesitting jobs I do need to bring my 13 year old chocolate lab along with me. Animals have always been a part of my life. From growing up with them, to caring for pets of friends and family, to offering my care as a service on this platform since ‘22; I have a wide range of experience with different breeds, needs, ages, and personalities. I also have a 13 year old chocolate Labrador of my own named Paxson, who I have had the joy of living life with since he was 7 weeks old! With all of my experience of caring for different animals and raising my own, I am very confident in my ability to take wonderful care of yours :) I have a flexible schedule which allows me to prioritize my time and attention towards taking good care of the pet(s) I am looking after. Pet parents can expect that if I am available for a booking that I will be all in with your animals! I always inquire about routines, specific instructions and if there is anything else I may need to know in order to ensure the best care for your pet(s). It is important to me to help keep their daily routines as normal as possible, and to be aware of anything I may need to look out for to ensure their safety and wellbeing while in my care.
“Lucia did a wonderful job caring for our cat, Finny, during five days of drop-in visits. She followed all of our feeding instructions carefully, including giving him his wet food, dry food, and favorite treats. Finny is very shy and usually hides from strangers, but Lucia made an extra effort to spend time with him, talk to him, and tempt him with treats so he wouldn’t feel alone. We truly appreciated her kindness and attentiveness and would gladly book her again!”

About: I’m more of a dog person than a human person!! Will take the best care of your baby to the extent I’d expect if it were my own. I work fully remote so I absolutely love having dogs around while I’m home all day! They will get my full attention and plenty of outside! I have a golden retriever of my own who absolutely adores other dogs! I love going for walks and playing outside until the pups cave on me. They’re more than welcome on furniture and to sleep with me that’s a given

“Crysta was AMAZING!! I had a unique request: help me get my three dogs to my wedding. Our dogs are a very big part of our lives and we knew our wedding wouldn’t be complete without them. We’ve always dreamed that at our wedding we would be surrounded by our family and friends and our dogs are the most important members of our family. Crysta made our wedding complete! She stepped in when no one else could and accepted the request without hesitation. I scheduled a meet and greet just to make sure she got to meet them first and we talked through our wedding timeline. I asked Crysta to be at our Airbnb for 4 pm, let them have a quick potty break, and take them about 15 minutes down the road to our venue, wait while we take some family photos with the pups, then bring them back to our Airbnb. Let me tell you, she exceeded my expectations TREMENDOUSLY!! She arrived out our house around 3:30, let them have a longer potty break than I asked for, and made it to my venue ONE WHOLE HOUR before the wedding started. She went above and beyond to make sure my dogs were cared for and got to and from the venue safely. I’m not from Destin, I was just in town for the wedding from Houston, but whenever I am back in town and need help with our dogs, she will be the FIRST person I call. She was so kind and friendly and she treated our dogs like they were her own. Words cannot describe how happy I am that I found Crysta. I think my dogs were just as happy, they loved her!! About: I’m looking to care for a Rottweiler they are my favorite breed I have extensive experience working with a wide variety of animals, including more challenging breeds such as wolf hybrids. One of my most rewarding experiences was training a wolf hybrid from the ground up. When I started, he had no basic commands and struggled with behaviors like jumping on people. Through consistent training, structure, and trust-building, I was able to teach him commands such as sit, lay down, spin, and reliable recall. I also successfully corrected his jumping behavior, which was especially important given his size and strength. I currently have a full time job at AT&T but I am looking to hopefully get out of the normal 9-5 I have a side job that produces decent income but I don’t feel completely comfortable leaving my 9-5 just yet. You know bills I believe respect is one of the most important things about being a pet parent. One must be disciplined and thoughtful when caring for animals! I simple don’t treat them as just a dog but my as individual with a personality.

Meet & Greets can take place in person or virtually. If you are booking with a sitter for the first time, we recommend in-person Meet & Greets to get a clearer sense of how your sitter interacts with your pet or the new environment.
During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy , which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
