“During my stay in the Panhandle, I quickly realized many of the beaches were not pet friendly, so I was in need of a last minute sitter for my pup Sammi. Sammi originally stayed with Aurora for 2 nights, but she had such a great time that I allowed her to go back for a third 🙂 Aurora does an exceptional job of making sure your pup is comfortable in her home. She takes special note of the things they enjoy, their triggers/traumas…and operates accordingly. Not to mention, she takes the most stunning photos of your dog and sends multiple updates throughout the day, so you aren’t left to wonder how they are doing. Sammi came home happy and slept like baby on our 8 hour road trip to South Carolina after her stay. It’s safe to say, Aurora will be my go to sitter anytime I am in the area. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!”

About: I've always had pets growing up from turtles, fish, ferrets and cats and dogs! I have watched several of my friends and family pets. I am currently working from home 40 hours a week and can host a dog or 2 depending on size for daycare/boarding. I am also available for morning and evening check-ins and walks! I do work from home so your babies can come hang out with me and my puppers during the work day and play out all their energy! I do have a 1.5 yr old golden doodle who loves to play and stays home with me now that I work from home. We love to go on walks or go to the park.

About: I was raised on a farm in the countryside. We had cats and dogs among other animals. Many of these I claimed as pets. I've owned several dogs in my lifetime and into their older years and currently have two cats which they think they're human. These little animals are part of our families. This makes them of great importance and priority. Their care should be taken just as seriously as each other. Listening to their needs and watching their habits they communicate. I take great care listening to the sounds and movement of a pet to discern what they are trying to communicate that they need. Flexibility is important when it comes to pet sitting. “Harvey accepted our booking about two days before us arriving in town! We were very anxious to leave HoneyBear with him, but she went straight to him and went right in his home. When she was standing at the door barking as we left, he gently closed the door, which definitely helped us and possibly HoneyBear, too. When I reached out to Harvey, he responded quickly and sent us pictures of HoneyBear as well. She was always on the couch (probably beside him)! When we picked her up, she seemed to be content and obviously happy to see her human dad. Harvey definitely earned our trust with HoneyBear’s visit!”
