4. Houston H.
“What a great experience having Houston watch our two boys! Houston went above and beyond to make sure they were well taken care of and happy the 5 days we were away. After a previous unsettling Rover experience, we were anxious initially to be so far away. But the photos and updates from Houston after the first day put us immediately at ease. The boys were happy and exhausted (in the best way) when we came back- and also to a freshly cleaned home! I know our dogs can’t wait to have Houston watch them again! Thank you!”

About: I have been taking care of pets since I was young. I have taken care of dogs, cats, guinea pigs, ducks, hedgehogs, and even turtles! I have experience with dogs large and small which includes Great Danes down to little Chihuahuas. I have had 5 dogs and 3 cats over the years. I am prepared to love and treat your animals as if they were my own. I am currently a stay at home Mom so my schedule is pretty open. I am available during the day and can make arrangements for the evening. I no longer have any pets at the moment which makes dog walking a great part time job. All of my focus will be put on your dog and their needs. Information of things your dog likes or doesn’t like will help me have a better relationship with them. The more I know about your dog the more comfortable your dog and I will be together.

About: Hi, my name is Kat! I am a very responsible and caring pet sitter. My headline is "Ready to take care of your kids" because I believe our pets are our kids, and I like to treat them as such. 🐶 I am a very quick learner and can adapt to your pet's needs. I am also very resourceful. I may not have all the skills, but I am confident I have the resources to give your pets my all! I currently work in a very flexible and remote company. I have about 3 weekly meetings, so I have plenty of time to give your pets my attention. I am a very adaptable and resourceful pet-sitter; whatever your pet needs, I will find a way to get it and provide it to them.

“We love Katie! She provides such great care for my dog when I'm away. I know he's in good hands and receiving lots of love and attention with Katie. She's also super responsive and sends regular updates so I can see that my dog is happy and enjoying his time with Katie. She's been very accommodating with requests for pet sitting when I've needed pet care on short notice. I trust her to be respectful of my home and that she will let me know if there's any concerns while I'm away. More than a dog lover, Katie is a professional with the knowledge and experience that gives me peace of mind as an overprotective dog mom.”
17. Alyssa B.
“Alyssa is absolutely amazing! This was our first time hiring a sitter so we were very nervous, especially since we just rescued a new pup a couple months ago and didn’t want to upset her! Alyssa put us at ease with a ton of updates and photos of my dogs enjoying some outside time and getting all the snuggles! She was so kind, paid attention to detail and left our house spotless. Next time we go out of town, we can’t wait for our pups to hang out with Auntie Alyssa!”

20. Rachel S.
About: Hello! My name is Rachel and I graduated from UNCW with a minor in Assistance Dog Training! Ever since I was little my family grew up with animals. I have been a dog lover every since I was little - ask anyone!! I was the typical “dog girl” with my breeds book learning facts about different types of dogs. My first job taking care of animals was when I worked on a farm from ages 14 to 18. I was in charge of a variety of types of animal’s unique schedules and need for extended periods of time. Throughout high school I worked at a doggy daycare where I would walk dogs and supervise their exercise/playtime. I also would feed them and administered any medications needed. I made sure to keep their boarding rooms clean and safe for them too. I have worked with dogs of all sizes and ages and feel comfortable working with dogs that have behavioral issues as well. My minor in Assistance Dog Training taught me a lot about basic dog obedience and behavior, k-9 care, and so much more! I am extremely passionate about dogs and would love to take care of yours! My husband and I have fostered over 13 dogs and puppies in the past year. I currently train dogs professionally part time and would be happy to discuss and offer advice to help your dog become a more cohesive part of the family! During the week and weekends, I love to spend time with my three dogs! Adding more dogs into the pack is always such a fun time and I would love to help others out in doing so! I live in a home with a partially fenced in yard where I can walk your dog safely and frequently. I have lots of safe toys and even extra dog kennels for your pups. I am devoted to the safely and care of your animals.
