“These two are a dynamic duo! Our pets just love them! They are the most conscientious pet sitters I have ever found and take such great care of our fur babies! I hope I never have to use anyone else to take care of our fur babies!”

“Kristen was amazing! She communicated clearly and consistently. There were always detailed updates and pics of Cheeto and Pain during each check-in. My cats are usually a bit shy around new people, but they warmed up to her surprisingly quickly. It was such a relief knowing they were in good hands while we were on vacation. This was our first time using Rover, and it was a great experience—thanks to Kristen! We’ll definitely be booking with her again for our next trip.”

About: I have grown up with all types of dogs at. From small to big, lazy to crazy, and puppy to senile. Your pup will be taken care of based on their own personal needs. Each breed and age group requires different care, and I can ensure that they will be in safe hands. I am currently in school! My online classes allow me to adjust my schedule easily, so I can make sure pets get the attention they deserve. I will take care of your pets as similar as possible to how you do it. Most dogs like their normal routine, so as long as you educate me on what their day to day life is I can replicate it as much as possible to try and make them as comfortable as possible.

About: I love dogs! 💖🐶 I have owned and cared for dogs for 20+ years. I joined Rover as a professional pet sitter in August of 2023, mostly to have play mates for our youngest pup, but also because we are a family of dog lovers ❣️ 🐶 We care for dogs up to 20 pounds 🐶 Pet sitting is my full time job and I’ll be home with your fur baby all day, unless running an errand or doing school drop off and pick up for my kiddos. I strive for quick responses and 100% satisfaction. Your pup will be loved and cared for like my own ❣️ Our home is pet friendly, from the floors to the furniture. We strive to make your pups time away from home as safe, fun and comfortable as possible. Your pup will have walks, weather permitting, potty breaks throughout the day, owner approved snacks and meals, snuggles and play time. To make the time away from your fur baby more comfortable, we will send pictures and updates every day. I can’t wait to meet your fur babies! 😍 I am a stay at home mom available for daycare, overnight boarding and drop in visits. My husband works from home part time and will be home most times when I am not. 🐹 We are open to boarding your family’s guinea pig or hamster while boarding your pup for an additional fee 🐹❣️ Your pup will be indoors unless we go outside for potty breaks or play time. Indoors we have plenty of dog beds, toys and space for play. Dogs will not be crated unless requested. While I am out for short periods of time we have separate pet friendly spaces for each dog. Outdoors we have a fenced in, dog friendly backyard. Dogs will not be left outside unsupervised.

About: With nearly four years of experience caring for dogs—both my own and those of other families—I’ve developed a strong understanding of pet behavior and needs. I have hands-on experience training small dogs and some larger breeds as well. I take pride in my ability to connect with animals quickly, helping them feel comfortable, safe, and at home—even when they’re missing their owners. I currently work part-time at a Physical Therapy clinic while taking online classes. Due to my schedule and my preparations for applying to Physician Assistant school, I do not have any pets of my own at this time. With this in mind, I am fairly flexible and would typically be away from the house for no more than six hours at a time. I am more than comfortable spending the remainder of the day caring for your pets. My work schedule is primarily in the mornings, from 8:00 AM to 1:00 PM, Monday through Friday. I am available all day on Saturdays and Sundays. When entrusted with house sitting and pet care, my top priority is to follow the owners’ instructions carefully and precisely. While in the home, I make it a point to spend as much time as possible with your pets, ensuring they receive the attention they need and remain safe under my supervision. I take them out regularly throughout the day and, before leaving for work, I always make certain they have been let out, are fed, and have access to water to prevent any discomfort, accidents, or health issues in my absence.

About: I’ve had pets in my life for as long as I can remember, including cats, dogs, birds, fish, hamsters, guinea pigs, and rabbits. I’ve cared for animals big and small, active and easygoing, and everything in between. These days I share my home with a sweet dog and a saltwater reef tank full of fish and coral, so daily care and attention to detail are second nature to me. Being semi-retired gives me a very open schedule, so I can offer dog walks and drop-ins throughout the day. Whether it’s a midday walk, an afternoon check-in, or an early evening visit, I have the flexibility to make sure pets get the attention and care they need. When providing drop-in care, I treat each pet and home with the same respect I give my own. I make sure pets are safe, comfortable, and cared for according to their routine, while keeping the home secure and tidy during every visit.

About: I’ve had dogs and cats in my life for as long as I can remember, and caring for them has always come naturally to me. From growing up with family pets to regularly watching the dogs and cats of friends and relatives, I’ve gained years of hands-on experience with a wide range of breeds, temperaments, and routines. What truly sets me apart from other sitters is the genuine bond I build with each pet—I treat every cat and dog as if they were my own. I understand how important it is for pets to feel safe, loved, and comfortable when their owners are away, and I pride myself on providing consistent, attentive care that brings peace of mind to both pets and their humans. Pet care is a natural and essential part of my daily and weekly routine. I plan my days around my pets’ needs because their well-being is always my top priority. From morning walks and mealtimes to playtime, grooming, and evening wind-downs, I make sure every aspect of their care is handled with attention and love. Caring for animals isn’t something I squeeze into my schedule—it’s something I genuinely enjoy and intentionally make time for. That same level of dedication and reliability carries over when I care for other people’s pets, as I treat them with the same love, respect, and responsibility I give my own. Whether I’m caring for pets in my own home or new clients, I prioritize comfort, safety, and consistency in their routine. In my home, I create a calm pet friendly environment where cats and dogs have space to relax, play, and feel at ease. I maintain a regular schedule for feeding, walks, play time, and bathroom breaks. When caring for pets in the client’s home I respect their space and stick closely to the routine, their dog is familiar with. I also provide regular updates photos, messages, and check in so owners feel connected and reassured.

About: I’ve been caring for dogs since I was 10, and I don’t just “watch” pets—I build a relationship with them. My own dog, Gadget, is almost 12 years old, and I’ve been his lifelong best friend, snuggle buddy, walker, and groomer. Whether it’s trail hikes, neighborhood strolls, or indoor games like hide-and-seek, I tailor care to what each dog enjoys most. What makes me different is my calm, caring approach. I pay close attention to body language and behavior to respond to a pet’s needs, not just follow a routine. I believe clear communication, trust, and creating a safe environment are essential to happy pets. From house training to meal routines to peaceful walks, I care for every dog like they’re part of my family—because to me, they are. As a stay-at-home dad, my schedule is flexible day or night and pet care is a natural part of our daily rhythm. I’m available on weekdays, evenings, and weekends to care for your pup with the same attention and love I give my own buddy, Gadget. My two daughters are also part of our pet-loving household—they enjoy going on walks and sharing snuggles with our furry visitors. Whether it’s a calm companion or a playful pup, your dog will be part of a warm, active, and caring environment throughout the day. I’d like to be mindful of creating a safe, trusting, and interactive environment for your pup in your home. I’d like to think I have a great attention to detail and like to keep things organized and clean just the way you need it.

About: I’ve been petsitting for dogs, cats, small animals & farm animals for over 8 years now. I grew up with Bull Mastiffs and now currently have 4 rescues who I spend much of my time with when I’m not out at school. I’ve comfortably taken care of bookings of over a dozen cats & dogs at a time before & am comfortable administering medicine, bathing/grooming, training, exercising, and any cleaning necessary in addition to sitting. I’ve taken training and behavioral classes and have volunteered with local shelters and rescues for years. The longest I’ve so far pet sat for a family has been for about 2 weeks & I am comfortable with both short + long term sitting. I’m currently in my second year of college at the University of Redlands and work part-time on campus. Because of this, I may be away for 3-4 hours at a time (depending on the day). Beyond my classes and work schedule, I am able to stay with your pets much of the day and I always try to stick the best that I can to their normal routine. Being so far from my dogs back home, I always love when I can spend time with animals! As of right now I am only able to provide care in your own home, although I’m looking into the possibility of boarding in the future. However, regardless if boarding or sitting in your own home, I like to stick to whatever the typical routine is for your animal, in order to help provide comfort for your animal and reduce stress or anxiety that they may have while you are away. And, I can promise your pet(s) will have plenty of play time & attention while you’re away! 🐾💗

About: I am first and foremost an animal lover. I have had large dogs all my life. Two golden retrievers and an Alaskan Malamute, not simultaneously. I currently have a 5-year old Alaskan Malamute. I am the go to pet sitter in my friend groups with many years of experience with all types of dogs. I have also fostered cats with Hospice Hearts Animal Rescue in Urbana, IL. I work 2-3 days a week as an RN. In my spare time I take my 5-year old Alaskan Malamute on walks, runs, hikes, and bike ride. My malamute is exercised daily. I believe our furry friends need frequent exercise just like us. I would give your pet undivided attention and care.

About: I’ve had a cat since 2009, since it was a kitten, and have a second cat from kitten to 10 years old, and a third cat that is 4 that I help care for. I also help care for two adult huskies. I love cats, and dogs, but prefer cats and smaller dogs. I’ve also helped care for an older Lhasa apso for a few summers in a row for 4 to 5 months at a time, and taken a neighbor’s bull terrier mix dog for a walk several times a week. I’ve had experience putting the huskies and the terrier into their kennels, taking them out of their kennels and leashing them to take them for walks. I also feed the huskies frequently and give treats to reinforce their training. I gave treats to the terrier to help him learn to sit and lay down. I brush my 15 year old cats’ teeth with cat toothpaste, and give her liquid medicine each day using a dropper. I’ve also cared for a fire bellied newt as my pet for 15 years, two rabbits for 6 years, and two Guinea pigs for 5 years, feeding them daily, making sure they have fresh water, alfalfa or hay, and clean cages, and a clean aquarium for the newt. We have had various cold water fish, pet mice, a pet hamster, and helped care for a pet turtle. I’m currently running a rental business where I manage the bookkeeping, and handle communications with tenants, maintenance, and vendors, while working from home so I’m able to be flexible with hours available for doing pet care. I do water fitness several times a week during the summer so I just need to work around the times I’m in the water. I get to know your pets following your guidelines about your pets, and will visit, make friends with them at their pace, feed them, pet them when they allow me, brush them if needed and they allow it, play with them, sit with and talk with them. If you have treats available, I will offer them treats following guidelines if you are using treats for training or just as a snack. If you would like them to go outside in your yard I will take them outside and watch them outside or play with them on a leash if in your front yard or no leash on your back yard.

Cindy H.
“As someone who loves to travel, you can imagine how hard it is to find a reliable pet sitter. Cindy has made herself available to look after Mugen countless times while I was away from home. When we are away Mugen goes through separation anxiety and Cindy always does her best to keep Mugen comfortable. Mugen once had diarrhea while Cindy was petsitting and without hesitation, Cindy has clean up the mess and gave him a shower right away. You can imagine the mess that was! But Cindy does what needs to be done.”

Karen H.
“Karen was absolutely wonderful caring for my elderly cat while I was away. She provided gentle, attentive care and followed all of my detailed instructions—something I truly appreciated. Karen’s communication was excellent; she sent regular updates and photos, which gave me great peace of mind. My cat seemed comfortable and happy in her care. I would not hesitate to book Karen again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable and compassionate pet sitter.”
Franklin pet parents share their Rover experiences
Emily is our go-to sitter. She's watched our pets twice now, and each time has done a wonderful job. She's very thorough, caring, and attentive to details. She's great about sending photos, timely updates and doing that little extra. I felt incredibly comfortable with her recent stint of watching our terrier over three days and making sure he was fed, had his meds and kept safe. Will definitely use her services again!

Mandy was excellent! She did a great job taking care of my two cats. She also did some other things too, like bring in the mail and turn lights off and on, open and close blinds. I was not worried at all about the cats while on vacation, Mandy’s a pro! I’m very happy with her services!

Tudy was amazing with our cat. We had never left him alone before so we were nervous this. But Tudy sent us videos every day and a couple of times a day. She would talk to our cat and play with him. He responded very positively to her. I would use Tuday again any time I need a cat sitter. She was the best.
