“Scott was very communicative and easy going. Benny came back happy and tired from all the exercise Scott was able to give him. We will definitely book with him again!”

“Carole was super accommodating for our last minute request to board my golden retriever puppy. She kept us updated with regular messages, pictures and video. She took great care of him. He got a lot of exercise and running around the fenced backyard while playing with her dog, Venus. After we picked him up, he slept straight through the day. My pup would definitely want to come back for fun filled stays with Venus. I highly recommend Carole to pet parents out there.”

“We used Matt to board our dog for 10 days! We are newbies to Rover & were at first a little hesitant. Matt was amazing. He had our dog over for a little meet and greet with his two dogs prior to booking & answered all our questions. You can tell he has a genuine love for dogs and an ideal set up at his home to be a host. He took wonderful care of our dog and sent pictures often which was so kind. We are so thankful our dog had a little vacation herself! We will 100% be using Matt again in the future. All things positive to say!”

“Avery took amazing care of my pup. She was super responsive and sent me lots of pictures. She kept me updated on how he was doing & I felt he was in good hands during his entire stay. I would absolutely recommend Avery to any pet parents who want peace of mind that their pet is in good hands.”

“Marleny was AWESOME! We met with her at her home with our pup before we committed to using her. Our puppy, after a little apprehension, almost immediately ran and played with her dogs and we had a hard time getting him to leave......typical child LOL. She was flexible with the date that we needed her for and we were much appreciative. She sent pics or videos nearly everyday and also continued him on some meds he was finishing at the time.”

“Bella was wonderful. She was very professional and prompt with any communication and I believe she took good care of my senior dog. She has a nice backyard and takes time to allow the new dog to greet her dogs before putting them together She sent me photos and I could tell by his ears that he was comfortable there and she even wrapped him in a blanket when she thought her AC was too much for him. Thank you!”
About: What sets me apart is that I truly treat every dog like my own. I currently have two dogs cooper and teddy. Teddy lives with me but cooper does not .I grew up with a family dog, and have experience dog sitting for my grandparents and in-laws , so I’m very comfortable with all types of personalities and routines. I have also worked with senior dogs, so I understand the extra patience and care older dogs need. I’m reliable, attentive, and big on communication—I’ll keep you updated so you always feel at ease. Whether it’s helping a puppy stick to a routine or giving an older dog extra comfort, I adjust to what each pet needs. Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine. I work 8–4 Monday- Friday so outside of those hours I am home and fully available to give pets attention, exercise, and care. I love being active—going on walks, hikes, and trips to the park with our dogs, I also have a dog park at my apartment complex, and my dog loves it there —so any pet in my care will get plenty of exercise and engagement. I also make sure pets stick to their normal feeding, potty, and routine schedule so they feel comfortable and at home. 🐾 I care for pets like they’re part of my family and always try to keep their routine as normal as possible. In my home, they’ll get lots of attention, playtime, walks, and a safe, comfortable space to relax. I follow feeding schedules closely and make sure they get plenty of exercise and love. In a client’s home, I respect your space and stick to your pet’s usual routine so they feel secure. I’ll handle feeding, walks, potty breaks, playtime, and any specific instructions you provide. I’m very attentive to behavior and comfort, and I always keep you updated with messages and photos so you feel at ease while you’re away.
“Our Cavapoo Rosa had the best time at Tracy's. She loved playing with Tracy's children and the whole family was just so nice. I don't think Rosa really wanted to come home! Tracy sent me updates and photos at regular intervals so I had no worries.”

“Jennifer was so understanding, kind, and compassionate with my anxious senior dog. I used her for an overnight visit and my quickly felt comfortable at her home. I highly recommend her and hope to use her services again!”

“I felt my pup was safe and well cared for during my trip. Melanie sent photos and updates about once a day. Best of all- I had peace of mind! I will definitely bring my pup back for our next trip.”

“Once again Emily has taken great care of our baby! My dog was happy, relaxed and clean when I brought him home, which really shows how comfortable and safe he felt with her. Thank you!!”

“This is the second time we’ve left blue with Renata. She is well taken care of. She loves going over to hang out with Renata‘s dogs and Renata gives us plenty of updates and works with us. If we’re running late from returning from our trip, I would recommend her for anybody who has a large breed dog. Her dogs are well behaved and she knows what she’s doing!”

“Thank you for taking good care of Summer! She was happy and healthy when I returned from my cruise. I appreciated the communication, pictures, and attention to her raw food diet. Highly recommend your pet-sitting services!”

“As a professional dog trainer and longtime worker in the pet care industry, I'm very particular about where I take my dogs and how I like them to be cared for. Kim went above and beyond in her duties, and I greatly appreciated her diligence and care. She provided daily updates on their well being and social interactions, as well as photos and videos. It was comforting to see my pups playing, walking, resting and enjoying themselves while I was away for over a week. When I returned to pick them up, they were in great condition and happy to see me. When I got them home, they both promptly passed out from all the activity they had on their own vacation! As someone who has worked with dogs professionally for a number of years, I highly recommend Kim's services. She clearly cares about the animals in her care, as well as their owners!”

Joan was absolutely wonderful with our dog! She was caring, dependable, and kept us updated throughout the stay, which gave us great peace of mind. It was clear that our dog was happy, comfortable, and well cared for. Joan treated our dog like family, and we couldn’t have asked for a better sitter. We would definitely recommend Joan to anyone looking for a trustworthy and loving pet sitter.

I can’t begin to express how pleased I was with the service Megan provided. She took care of my 17 year old cat, Effie, for a month. Effie is a sweet but shy girl and she was comfortable with Megan within a day. I received updates including pictures every other day, without needing to ask. Megan not only fed and gave Effie her medicine but spent quality time with her as well. She even has a separate area in her home where Effie enjoyed peace and quiet. It was as if she was on her own vacation! I highly recommend Megan and will definitely be booking her again.

Holly was incredibly attentive and kept us updated about Blake every day. She was responsive, reliable, and truly caring. If you’re looking for a trustworthy dog sitter or a safe place for your dog to stay while you’re away, look no further. We had complete peace of mind knowing Blake was well cared for and in such loving hands. We highly recommend Holly and would absolutely use her services again!
Avery did amazing with our doggos. Especially with a Thor who just about was a big headache 🤕 the pups were very happy with her and had tons of walks and cuddles. She sent us pics and kept us updated on how they were. 100% recommend and we thank you for caring for them so well.

Katherine and her family did a great job taking care of our young Border Collie, Asher, for the week! We know he was well cared for and entertained while we were away. We were able to have a stress free vacation knowing he was in good hands and would recommend Katherine to anyone. We hope to have Asher stay again soon in the future !

Misty was perfect. She was bank breaking, she was very communicative, very open and sent pictures and videos. She even gave Raven a bath and washed her sweater. Raven is a puppy so they even did some training with her. I will probably only ever use Misty to watch my girl moving forward. She just made us both very comfortable.

Loki had a great time and was well taken care of. He had such a good time he whined a little as we were driving away. We got videos and pictures as well as updates regularly while we were gone, which let us know Loki was doing well and enjoying his stay and also kept our minds at ease that he was happy and doing well. Thank you both for all you did keeping our little fur baby safe and happy!

Joelis was absolutely wonderful with both of my dogs. From the initial meet and greet, they were instantly comfortable with her. Drop-off went smoothly—both dogs ran into her home as if it were their own. Throughout their stay, she kept us updated with pictures, which gave us great peace of mind. I’ll definitely be booking with her again in the future!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in PA ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
