I've cared for puppies, seniors, medication needs and dogs who need lots of love and attention. A bit about me: I grew up with pets ranging from a pony to a fox as well as dogs and cats. As an adult, I have been lucky enough to have a Rottie, Frenchie and Boston Terrier. But no current pets at this time. I work from home full time and would love some company or chance to stretch my legs and do drop-ins I offer drop-ins, boarding and daycare. and I'd love to set up a free Meet & Greet so we can all get comfortable before booking. I can do walks or drop-ins during the day or in the mornings and evenings as needed. I'm an early riser so early visits are fine. I have no other pets in the household but do have a child in the house. Our yard is not fenced so any potty breaks would be supervised and leashed.

About: Hello! I'm an energetic and enthusiastic individual with a HUGE love of dogs of all sizes. I love them so much that I go out of my way to say hello and pet dogs on the street (with permission, of course!). I love playing fetch, tug, and running around with dogs. I even love brushing them, so if you are in need of a good grooming for your friend, I'll raise my paw for the task! I used to have a rescue pitty, so rescues have a soft spot in my heart. I once went on a trip and slept in a bed with three super sweet rescue dogs, coming home smelling of dog...and I couldn't have been happier! I've pet-sit cats* ever since I was a child, and have also watched rabbits and a turtle. I have personally owned and cared for fish, reptiles, and a dog. I currently have a few fish and lots of plants. I have worked with a dog with anxiety and, though not a certified professional, helped train, gain trust, and saw improvement. When a client of mine was about to get a puppy, I read puppy books so that I could do my best when I cared for her and her sister. At my home, pets will need the ability to go up and down stairs, though I can pick them up to do so if this is requested. The floors are mainly wood (tile in the kitchen); most floors have carpets on them. Dogs may need their own bed or designated place to sleep, as they are not allowed on the bed. The yard is not fenced, so leashing is a must for safety, and walking will be on town streets with potential occasional passing cars. I do not generally take dogs out in the car, but, should we need to, my car has a dog back seat cover and seatbelt (I ask that you please supply a harness in case we should need it). For boarding and day care, I request that we do our meet-and-greet at your home first so that I can see what your pet is used to and assess if I will be able to accommodate their needs. If we agree that this seems plausible, I will happily invite you to my home for your assessment so that you can feel safe knowing where your fur family will stay. I do not do boarding or day care for cats. If you'd like my care for your pet, please mention the phrase "safety is my #1 concern" in your request to me. Picked him up the next day and Sara said he was welcome back anytime. Katherine and her family did a great job taking care of our young Border Collie, Asher, for the week! We know he was well cared for and entertained while we were away. Misty was perfect. She was bank breaking, she was very communicative, very open and sent pictures and videos. She even gave Raven a bath and washed her sweater. Raven is a puppy so they even did some training with her. I will probably only ever use Misty to watch my girl moving forward. She just made us both very comfortable.
Loki had a great time and was well taken care of. He had such a good time he whined a little as we were driving away. We got videos and pictures as well as updates regularly while we were gone, which let us know Loki was doing well and enjoying his stay and also kept our minds at ease that he was happy and doing well.
