“Sydney was great! From setting up our meet and greet and learning their routines, to taking care of our cat and kitten both with their own special needs, we were able to go away and not having to worry about our fur babies. Communication was easy, instructions were followed with care, and updates provided throughout her visits put our minds at ease. We will absolutely be booking with Sydney again!”

“Sabrina is the only cat sitter we trust to take care of our spicy kitty girl. She is trustworthy, kind, and has a calm energy, which our cat positively feeds off of. I cannot recommend Sabrina enough!”

“Sofi is the best you can get! She took excellent care of our pets and gave us a worry-free experience. Her care, communication, and professionalism were beyond what we expected. I would recommend her to everyone!”

“Amy is an awesome sitter! Our pets always get stressed when we travel, and we’ve heard from all our previous sitters that they barely eat while we’re gone. But with Amy, they ate all their food every day! And they seemed excited when we returned, but not beside themselves with joy like usual. Which tells me they felt safe and cared for in our absence—exactly what you want from a sitter. I highly recommend Amy!”

“Felicia was amazing with my 2 big dogs! She was available for a last minute booking when my sitter plans fell through. She was so sweet and sent picture updates, even got my pups some treats. I felt at ease knowing they were well taken care of. I would definitely book with her again!”

“Katie was fantastic! She was so kind and attentive to our cats, was very conscientious about cleaning the litter box and giving them fresh water. From all the photos she sent us, it was clear the cats enjoyed her company. We will definitely ask for Katie again and will recommend her to our friends and family.”

“Belen has been very sweet with my dog, Bella. She took the time to meet her and play with her to make her feel more comfortable. My dog was having tummy issues and Belen gave me tons of recommendations based on her professional experience. She’s very knowledgeable and sweet. I will definitely call her again and recommend her. Thanks, Belen! ♥️🐶”

“Thanks so much Alejandro & Keyla for taking care of our Alex as if he was one of your own! We are so pleased to have found you guys! We will keep using your services in the near future for sure! Highly recommended”

“Katelyn was wonderful! She sent us pictures and went above and beyond and cleaned up after the kitties. She followed directions well and communicated well also. Would use her again :)”

“Yilim is very attentive and proactive. She will ask the right questions and will not make assumptions. I’m very happy that I booked here because she went above and beyond to keep the environment clean as well.”

“I was so happy to have Leah stop in and take care of our pups. She met them ahead of time and made sure she understood what we needed done. We hired her at the last minute and she was very flexible. One of our dogs is super scared of everyone and she did great with Leah! I will definitely hire again without hesitation.”

About: I've cared for dogs and cats throughout high school, college, and now into my remote-working career. I used to be an active Rover sitter in Houston with several recurring pups that I loved. I recently moved back home to Katy to help support my mom during her cancer treatments, and I really miss being around dogs. That's why I am re-opening my schedule for dog-walking, cat-sitting, house-sitting, and drop in services! I'd love to bring some extra joy back into my daily routine. I currently work from home, so I am available to walk your dog or check in on your cats before working hours (before 9 a.m.) and after working hours (after 5 p.m.). If you live close enough, I may be able to check in mid-day as well. In my own home, my pets are treated like royalty! I have my dog, Ollie, three cats (Tom, Luna, and Belle), and a crested gecko (Leia). Safe to say, I am an animal lover. Because I have a lot of pets, I am looking to offer dog walking and in-home check-ins for your dogs, cats, or other animals (I have reptile experience).
About: Just a little about me is I’m going to UT as a freshman in the fall (Go Longhorns! 🤘) and I’ve been surrounded by animals for most of my life. I have the most experience with dogs and cats, including my 14-year-old dog and my rescue cat, who was part of my family for eight years. I’m not afraid of pets who love to play rough and welcome pets of all sizes, breeds, and personalities, and I’m even happy to care for your exotic pets with clear care instructions. Whether your pet wants to play, explore, or just relax, I’ll make sure they feel safe, loved, and cared for while you’re away, with plenty of updates to give you peace of mind. I’m currently working full-time, but I have availability throughout the week for pet care! My current availability is: [Monday] 6 a.m.-10 a.m. / 6 p.m.-12 a.m. [Tuesday] 6 a.m.-12 a.m. [Wednesday] 6 a.m.-10 a.m. [Thursday] 6 a.m.-10 a.m. a.m. [Friday] 6 a.m.-4 p.m. [Saturday] 6 a.m.-11 a.m. / 6 p.m.-12 a.m. [Sunday] 6 a.m.-9 a.m. / 6 p.m.-12 a.m. Feel free to reach out, and I’ll do my best to accommodate your pet’s schedule! I know how important it is to trust someone in your home and with your beloved pets. I will always respect your home, follow your pet’s routine and care instructions, and treat both your space and your animals with the same care and respect I would my own. My goal is to create a calm, safe, and comfortable environment so your pets feel secure while you’re away and you can have complete peace of mind. Plus, you can always reach out, my phone is available 24/7!
“This was the first time using a pet sitter. I am so happy I chose Yovana. She was very diligent with letting me know how my dogs were doing while I was gone, sending me photos of them and what they were eating or not eating. I would give her an A+ and if you're looking for a pet sitter, choose Yovana. I didn't worry about my dogs at all.”
“Can’t recommend Lily enough. She’s thoughtful, extremely detailed, and goes above and beyond. She took care of our 2 year old Golden while we were gone for the day and made sure he had everything he needed to be happy and comfortable. She stuck to his routine and kept him safe which is all we could ask for.”

Angela is a wonderful pet sitter! She made sure our cats were engaged and also that they were eating and drinking. She provided pictures and videos every day along with a few notes on how the visit went. We will definitely seek her out again when we plan our next getaway.

Jaci was amazing! So sweet to talk with and very attentive with any requests. It was my first time leaving my boy at home for an extended time and I felt confident leaving him in her hands. All of the photos and videos sent back were so cute and was a highlight every day to see<3

Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter boxes. Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.
House sitting can be ideal for cats who need socialization or care that lasts longer than a few hours. Your cat stays in their own home, on their own schedule, with care based on what you and your sitter agree on together.
Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.
If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Foster. On Rover:

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
