About: My first post-retirement job was walking dogs, with drop in visits for feeding, walking, and meds. Great job! Was able to hang with dogs, which was nice since our lease wouldn’t allow a dog. Grew up with dogs, and have had lots of cats. Currently co-parenting Hoot, a 13 year old rescue kitty. I’m currently retired and available to pet sit. My schedule allows me to take on long or short duration dog and cat sitting opportunities. I have experience with both timid and assertive pets. Was always respectful of client property and followed instructions as directed to ensure safe pets and happy clients.

About: I am good with a number of pets, I've worked with both conventional furry pets and even feathered and scaly ones, although the scales I definitely have less experience with. I've looked after people's pets plenty of times in the past, both dogs and cats. I much prefer medium or small dogs since I am a small person, but if the large dog is a gentle giant I will certainly consider it. I can work around your schedule quite well, I am very flexible! Weekdays are easy, weekends might need some negotiating but I am open to it. I own a very nervous and anxious cat, so I cannot take overnights sadly. I care for pets as if they are little people. Pets are wonderful companions for life and deserve to be cherished while we have them.

About: With over 15 years of active pet-sitting experience and a lifetime of caring for animals, I bring compassion, playful attentiveness, and calm confidence to every home I visit. In 2024, I spent four months road-tripping across the U.S., housesitting along the way and caring for 7 cats and 14 dogs in 10 households—ranging widely in breed, age, temperament, and needs. I have extensive experience with medically complex pets, including administering pills and liquid medications, giving injections, and providing wound care. Whether caring for playful puppies, senior cats, or anything in between, I offer dependable, compassionate care tailored to each pet's unique needs. I work four days a week, Thurs-Sun in the afternoon and evening. On work days, I am available in the morning and late-evening. Mon-Wed I have full availability for all types of care. I prioritize safety and active stimulation for my own pets and those I care for. In addition to maintaining feeding schedules and security, I make sure those animals in my care receive exercise and mental stimulation, depending on their needs.

About: I have been a pet lover my whole 44 years. I have owned cats and dogs of many breeds, ranging from kitten care to senior pooches needing med regimens. Currently loving on a chinchilla at home, I am delighted to care for pets of all shapes and sizes. This is currently my only gig, so I have all the time to spend with your loved ones. Always happy to discuss complicated pet needs. Care in a client home is at each client’s discretion. You tell me what your love needs and I’ll get it done. You can trust me to communicate important issues and just take care of the small stuff.

About: I've taken care of dogs, cats, chickens, geese, ducks, and goats over the years. I love all animals and enjoy being around them, watching them and feeding them. I'm currently retired so I have time to spend looking after your pets. I have one dog of my own. A shitzu terrier mix called Penny. I do not have a fenced yard so I walk my own Shitzu Terrier mix on a leash multiple times a day. I have a calm, quiet home and spend time gently getting to know your pets in your home.

About: Pets make a house a home and are a member of the family. I’ve had dogs all my life and will consider your pet(s) a member of my family while in my care. Pets in my care are my priority. For sitting in my home or your home, I may charge more than others because I’m prepared to address unexpected care. I try to keep my rates competitive, but it’s challenging to pick one rate for all pets. Please reach out if you’re interested. I’m happy to discuss rates depending on need. I’m currently starting my own business, so I have a lot of flexibility in my schedule. I’m on the island full time throughout the week. In your home, I’ll follow your norms and schedule. I’ll ensure your pet is in a safe and clean environment. I’ll adhere to your established rules for furniture privileges, treats, feeding time, post walk cleaning, etc. If I’m staying overnight at your place, I’ll wash my linens and remake the bed (unless you’re returning before noon and then linens may still be in the wash). If I’m watching your pet in my home, I appreciate potty trained and polite pets. Baby pets or incontinent pets will get a smaller area to roam for damage control. Our Coton de Tulear is very friendly and loves to play; she also gets the memo when others aren’t as spritely. If your dog is aggressive towards other dogs, let me know in advance so we can discuss a possible solution.

About: I’ve been taking care of dogs for as long as I can remember. While growing up our family bred and raised Rottweilers and I also helped raise cane corsos. I have the morning time from 4am-6am, hour breaks and off of work around 5:00pm, Tuesday's- Thursday’s. Fridays I am free after 3:30pm and the weekends + Mondays I am completely free. I appreciate detailed instructions for what you prefer or require for your pets care. I make sure to care and love on them as if they were my own.

Whether your cat wants to follow me around all day or would rather have their own space, I’ll respect their personality and make sure their normal routine is maintained. I’ll treat your pet like a member of the family, follow your instructions closely, and keep you updated so you can enjoy your time away knowing your pet is in experienced and caring hands. I normally have a flexible routine that can be worked around whatever is best for you and your furball. I do ask for a few hours notice to be available.
