Brian did a wonderful meet and greet with my boys (two newfoundlands) and walked them today without me..that may seem like a strange thing to say but Byron (my younger boy) refuses to go on a walk for anyone but me - not even my husband! He was perfectly fine on going on the walk with Sinjin (my older boy) and Brian. No temper tantrums, no refusal to walk. NONE of it. About: I have been taking care of others pets for about 5 years now and have had family pets of the furry, feathered, and scaly varieties my entire life. I've mucked stalls, scooped poop, cleaned cat boxes, all of the not so glamorous parts, and have enjoyed walking, playing and spending quality time while meeting each furry friends every day needs. I currently have a French Bulldog named Sophie and a Leopard Gecko named Leo who I have loved taking care of every day! I am currently on summer vacation so I am free every day except for one vacation I have planned in August (which is blocked out on my calendar). I am able and willing to stay as many days as you need in your home any time of the week with your pets. I am very flexible with my schedule so I can extend stays if needed. I plan on getting a regularly scheduled job after summer so my schedule will be less open but after communication I can let you know if I am available or not. My basic pet care will include bringing pets to the bathroom about every 2-4 hours, feeding pets required amount told by owners, playing with pets multiple times a day, cleaning up after pets, and any other special care instructions given by owners. Care may vary depending on the type of animal.

About: I have 2+ experience as a vet assistant in general practice and ER. I have a lifetime of animal care experience with a wide variety of animals including cats and exotics. I know how important it is to have someone to watch your pets that will treat your babies like they are their own and put your mind at ease when you're away. I currently work 4 days a week (Mon-Wed and Sat.) but can work with you and be as flexible as possible with potty breaks for our dog friends. I am typically completely available on my days off I will treat your house and pets as my own and leave it the way I left it or more clean! I have respect for clients and love for all of the animals I care for, I take pride in making sure that everything is taken care of and exceeds expectations. I also am not afraid to ask you questions if I'm unsure of something.

About: I have four years of experience working in a dog daycare, in addition to caring for family and friends' pets since I was nine years old. My lifelong affinity for animals drives my dedication to their well-being and happiness. Over the years, I've developed a strong understanding of the importance of patience and empathy in providing exceptional care for pets. I'm working part time but, I'm overall fairly available on a day to day basis to help out with pet care needs and occasional overnight boarding. I am working on creating a daycare space in the basement to be able to provide boarding and day time care for the community (: I also can do basic baths & nail trims. My home is 10acres with a dog run, access to water, shelter and many sniffing spots to explore. Pups would stay in my room with me over night with frequent potty breaks during the day and play time in the run. I ensure that all animals are well fed, hydrated, and stimulated if they need to get rid of some energy. I love going on hikes and to water sources. I'm capable of more intense medical care such as medicine administration, wound care, etc.

About: I saved my Chihuahua, Thistle, from a kill shelter when he was 18 months old. I nursed him through being hit by a car, helped him gain weight from being underfed, and encouraged him to be a confident dog (he was extremely anxious) through training and gentle love and care. From this, I learned how to administer medications to animals, so I can provide this kind of care to your fur babies also. My Chihuahua is now a senior dog, but you wouldn’t be able to tell with how active he is! He gets lots of walks and play time, and he loves it best when I get on the floor with him. I am comfortable getting to know your pet and giving them the level and type of attention that they need! I looked into breed specific care, and Chihuahuas have weaker joints, so I put him on a joint supplement right when I got him, and it has really made a difference in his mobility and quality of life. It’s important to administer care to animals in the specific way that is best for them! I would show the same consideration to your pet. That includes factoring in their temperament. As my dog has gotten older, his needs around personal boundaries have increased, so I make sure to check in with him before petting him, picking him up, or otherwise touching him, and I do not touch him if he gives me a no, except in an actual emergency (i.e. the animal could be hurt or hurt someone else if I do not touch them). Instead, I do something else and check in again later. This allows me to establish a real felt sense of safety and trust with your pet. I also had cats all growing up, and have a real affection for them, as well as a clear understanding of their boundaries. I would be honored to care for your pet family just as I care for mine! I currently freelance, which means I have the freedom to take care of your pets whenever you need me to. I can be flexible to your needs. As my dog is a people’s dog and not a dog’s dog, I offer my services in your home. I can walk your pet, do a drop-in visit, or housesit! I will follow your instructions to the letter, and ask about any specific or special care your pet might need.

About: I am good with a number of pets, I've worked with both conventional furry pets and even feathered and scaly ones, although the scales I definitely have less experience with. I've looked after people's pets plenty of times in the past, both dogs and cats. I much prefer medium or small dogs since I am a small person, but if the large dog is a gentle giant I will certainly consider it. I can work around your schedule quite well, I am very flexible! Weekdays are easy, weekends might need some negotiating but I am open to it. I own a very nervous and anxious cat, so I cannot take overnights sadly. I care for pets as if they are little people. Pets are wonderful companions for life and deserve to be cherished while we have them.
