“Ashley was the first person from Rover we’ve ever used and and she was amazing and put me at ease! I would definitely have her come hang out with my pup anytime! Thanks Ashley!”

“Absolutely fabulous. She brought her dog Jimmy and planned to leave him in her car, while she walked my Leo, but I asked her to take Jimmy with Leo if she thought she could handle two big dogs at once. She did. She could. My Leo had a great time and made a new friend. Perfect! The pictures were so adorable.”

“Melody and Rufus enjoyed their time with Anne. Anne took great care of them both and we will be having her take them both for walks weekly. Thank you for being so great with our dogs💕”

“Amanda is so sweet and takes extra care when it comes to pups. Our little nuggets, Apollo and Cassie, adore her and she was really accommodating to their different on-leash walking styles. Thank you, Amanda!”

“Rebekah was great walking our dogs and giving them play time out in the back! They got out to play in the snow! I got tons of pictures, and the pups got lots of love and snacks. What more could you ask for?!”

About: I've taken care of dogs since I was 14. My first dog was a lab mix and he is now 14 years old. I currently have two cats and two dogs of my own that I have taken care of for the past few years. I have also helped friends and neighbors with their little furry friends by walking and feeding them. My current schedule for right now can be any night time stays. I can also help out anytime after 7:30am Monday to Fridays, or weekends full-day. I am close to local dog parks which I take my two puppies to everyday. They love to play with other dogs there and play tug of war or catch at the park. I also love to take walks by the water or go on hikes with my dogs.
“Natascha was an amazing rover for Kirk! He enjoyed being walked by her so much, he walked more then the will let me walk him. Very understanding and great with Kirk and his shyness of other dogs!”

About: With 16 years of experience caring for cats, dogs and birds of all ages and obedience levels, and over 30 years of experience loving the heck out of them, you can count on me to keep the furry (and feathered!) members of your family happy while you're away. I'm professional, dependable, and a strong communicator who will put your pets first while caring for them! In addition to caring for pets, I work remotely managing communications for a nonprofit. In my free time, I'm an avid hiker and love photography, reading, cooking, and spending time with friends in the many open spaces around Kitsap. With a flexible professional career that allows me to work from any location with wifi and a spot for my laptop, I'm able to guarantee the time, care, and attention your pet deserves from a sitter or dog walker without the constraints of navigating a hectic work schedule or commute. I have a broad range of experience caring for both low and high-maintenance dogs and cats of all personalities. I also have extensive experience caring for birds, both caged and free-ranging. I look forward to meeting you and your pet to learn how I can provide the most optimal care and peace of mind while you're away!
About: I have lived with and taken care of dogs and cats since I was a small child. I am a teacher, tutor, and love working with kids and see pets as kids. They are integral parts of our families and I show respect and love to all animals I meet! I am currently a tutor and an actor looking to fill my free time with animals and houses! I have lots of free time, and am dedicated to making sure you receive the best service! I am happy to stay in your home, daily visits, anything needed for you and your family! I let the animals set the pace and never force interaction, but I find that they warm up very quickly :)

About: 4 years doing volunteer week for shelters and a life time of loving on critters with fur and scales alike I have vast knowledge and the enthusiasm to learn! I have early mornings at the office so my services are after 3pm! I'm available on Sundays and Mondays! Super excited for those summer walks to tire your pup out for the evening! Your home is where your pet feels the safest! My jobs to provide nurturing care in said environment! :) Whatever your pet needs I'm here!
About: Hi! I am a stay-at-home mom of two human babies and two fur babies. I previously worked in upstate NY for a dog training company, My Dog Hikes, as a dog hiker where we took dogs from NYC into the woods for full day dog-care fun. Because of this I am comfortable giving medication and training commands. I also have a Cattle Dog (Clayton) and Black Lab (Tarzan) of my own. I would love to take your little ones on the trails, play fetch in the yard, or just snuggle on the couch with lots of pets. I have a very open schedule so can work around any timeframe you need! As childcare is very expensive, please note before booking me that my son, Eli (3), will be joining me on jobs during the week (daytime only). We can always meet beforehand to see if it's a good fit! **Temporarily pausing in home stays until my husband returns home from deployment** As I am a stay-at-home mom your typical work week is when I am available. I can be flexible around your schedule! I can also stop by to spend some time with your pets on the weekend, so you can go enjoy a trip away. (: I do not care for dogs in my own home as my Lab does not like other dogs. In your home, however, I take care to follow all instructions closely! I take many pictures so prepare for cuteness overload. I also have experience working with a dog training/walking company in NYC and am comfortable with a wide array of needs.
About: I've taken care of my dogs, stray dogs, others dogs since I was nine. I have experience with small and large dogs of all breeds. I have experience walking with multiple dogs at once. I can read a dogs body language very well. My dog had aggressive behavior toward other male dogs and I learned a lot from a dog trainer. I have experience giving fluids for Parvo that my dog got and then giving pure parvo shots to prevent her from getting it again. My skill starts with my unconditional love for animals, and the time spent growing up on a farm. I have an unspoken language with animal's. I have a very flexible schedule caring for animals. I don't have any obligations that can't be changed with a days notice. I am known to drop everything for animals in need. I will take care of your pet as if it's my own because during my time pet sitting it is mine. Any medical needs, special care to attention will be followed perfectly. My time will be completely dedicated to your baby. I will also let you know of any concerns regarding your pet, and take plenty of photos so you don't miss out on the fun.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
