“I left my dog with Maria for 8 nights while on a family vacation. I couldn't recommend her enough if you have a small old dog. She took such great care of Napoleon and he had a blast at Maria's house with all the other dogs. Maria is caring, provided daily updates (pics/videos), and is very detail oriented to ensure all dogs are cared for. We will definitely be booking with Maria again for our future boarding needs.”

“Brenda took wonderful care of our dog, Zelda, during our 4 day trip. Zelda can be a finicky eater and also chews up paper, so leaving her with a caring and attentive Rover really helps us be able to travel with ease. Zelda did great under Brenda's care, and came home happy and healthy. I definitely recommend booking with Brenda and will rebook in the future! Thank you so much!”

“Anitra was so great to my Charlie Boy! I loved getting pics throughout the day and he seemed so happy. I also really appreciate her flexibility! I needed someone last minute and she totally came to the rescue allowing me to book the last minute boarding. Thank you and next time I’m in town I’m so ubioking her again!”

“James was fabulous with our Ace. As a senior dog, he's a little bit of a slow mover but James made sure he was well cared for and we will definitely book him again when we travel.”

“Mike was a true gift during a very emotional and busy time. With family in town for my father’s funeral, I needed a peaceful place for my dog Bo to stay for a few days. Mike and Shari welcomed him into their beautiful, woodsy home—with picture windows that Bo immediately wanted to look out, and a calm, comforting vibe. When I picked him up at the end of his stay Bo was a relaxed and happy dog! Thanks guys!”

“We couldn’t have asked for a better experience! Celia and her family treated Roo like one of their own, and she came home happy and relaxed. We felt completely comfortable and will absolutely book with Celia again.”

“Alisha, Joshua, and family took wonderful care of our dog while our family was out of town for two weeks. We were nervous to leave her for so long but our nerves were immediately calmed when we met them and, further, received regular updates with sweet photos of our dog looking right at home with them. Alisha even went above and beyond and drove her home while we were navigating customs, long term parking shuttles, and the ferry home after a very long travel day coming from Southeast Asia. We had a happy, well cared for dog waiting for us when we arrived. Highly recommend this lovely family and will definitely reach out again for any future trips we need to take without our scruffy gal ❤️”

“This is our third time with Rachael, and our dog gets so excited when she realizes where we are when I drop her off. Rachael is so communicative and puts us at ease with pictures videos and updates. We are so grateful we found her!”

“Thank you for taking excellent care of Plum!! It was a big help knowing she was in great hands with people who care about her. She’s looking forward to returning! Thank you!”

“This was Shadow's second stay with Jenn and he was so excited upon arrival I don't think he noticed when I left. I got plenty of pictures and updates and Shadow look like he's having a great time. I highly recommend Jenn.”

“I am living for a few months near Poulsbo and needed to find a dog sitter in the area. I connected with Brianna and we visited briefly before my trip. I immediately felt comfortable with her. She took great care of Romeo, sent me photos and updates and was easy to communicate with. My dog is small and he got along with their much larger dog. I highly recommend Brianna as a caring dog sitter.”

“This was our first long stay and it went great! Got great daily updates with photos and videos of Rupee. Rupee looked very well cared for and seemed to have a blast.”

“The best people I’ve ever left Arbor with. They really went above and beyond to make sure she was comfortable. Sent pictures regularly. Even gave her a bath and brushed her! Will 100000% book again!”

“I’ve booked them several times for two dogs. I could tell my fur babies get a lot of love and affection in their home (e.g., cuddling on the sofa together). They are highly responsive, friendly, stay connected with photos, and accommodating. I’m so glad l have a reliable sitter close to me. I can always count on them if they are available.”

“It was my dog's first time boarding since I adopted him in January. He was so excited to see Kha and even happier to be able to run around a big yard with her dogs. Kha took great care of Wolfgang, treated him like he was past of their family and sent me lots of pictures and videos of his time there.”

“Alexa was a fantastic care taker to my two border collies. I got frequent pictures and videos and it was clear my dogs settled in early! They were right at home. Alexa was incredibly communicative throughout their stay and I would absolutely use her again in the future. Your pets would be lucky to stay with her!”

“One of the kindest & sweetest sitter we have experienced! Julie is so fantastic & wonderful that I can tell little Tobi had a great weekend with her! She kept us updated each day so we were able to put our minds at ease. Thank you so much and hopefully we can book you again!”

About: With over 15 years of active pet-sitting experience and a lifetime of caring for animals, I bring compassion, playful attentiveness, and calm confidence to every home I visit. In 2024, I spent four months road-tripping across the U.S., housesitting along the way and caring for 7 cats and 14 dogs in 10 households—ranging widely in breed, age, temperament, and needs. This experience left me especially comfortable quickly building trusting relationships with new animals and adapting to their individual personalities. I have extensive experience with medically complex pets, including administering pills and liquid medications, giving injections, and providing wound care. I understand the importance of consistent routines, detailed observation, and gentle handling when working with animals who require special attention. Whether caring for playful puppies, senior cats, or anything in between, I offer dependable, compassionate care tailored to each pet's unique needs. I work four days a week, Thurs-Sun in the afternoon and evening. On work days, I am available in the morning and late-evening. Mon-Wed I have full availability for all types of care. I prioritize safety and active stimulation for my own pets and those I care for. In addition to maintaining feeding schedules and security, I make sure those animals in my care receive exercise and mental stimulation, depending on their needs.

“Mary-Elizabeth is a wonderful cat sitter! It was so hard for me to leave my kitties for a whole week but I felt really good that they were in here hands :) she always took pictures and videos to keep me updated.”

“Pam was an excellent pet and house sitter. We couldn’t ask for anything more! She took great care of our kitten and it was so nice to come home to a clean and warm home.”

“We are very happy with the care and communication Emily provided. She even stopped by the vet and picked up a perscription I forgot to get before leaving town. We were able to relax while visiting family knowing our kitty was being well taken care of.”

“Abby was a prompt communicator and very thorough in her photos! Loved how attentive she was with Ume and to our requests. Highly, highly recommended and we’d love to book her again!”

“The moment Maya met my cats I knew I could relax. Most people aren’t fully present, even with their closest human friends, let alone animals. Maya got down on all fours and really connected with them, and they knew it. She’s also mature and responsible, even more rare. I envy my cats for getting to hang out with her :)”

“Mel and Kelly always go above and beyond. Not only are our cats well fed and happy when we get home, their boxes are clean, our packages have been thoughtfully set aside indoors for us, and we get gorgeous glamour shots of our cats during our trip! We book them before we get plane tickets for every trip we take. They’re the best!”

“Emma was one of the sweetest people I’ve met on Rover. She is very kind hearted and loved to spend time with my dogs. I could definitely trust her being in my home, and I plan to continue her services in the future. Highly recommend Emma !!!”

“Brian did a great job checking in on our dogs! We were gone on a day trip and just need someone to stop bye and let the dogs out. He handled them very well, took pictures and let us know everything was okay. We will definitely we reaching out in the future 💗”

“Jessica did an amazing job caring for our two cats (who are very high maintenance) and watching our home while we were away for a week. Our house was even cleaner than we had left it and our cats were very content and not fussy like they usually are when we get home from a trip. Thanks! We will be booking with you again!”

About: I’ve just recently acquired two kittens and boy are they fun! I’ve been learning the ins and outs of taking care of these felines. They are so easy. I have experience helping friends and neighbors with their cats by playing, feeding and changing their litter boxes. What can I do to help you?
About: I am a genuine happy pet loving guy. With at least ten years caring for my own pets (2 cats, 3 dogs). I have my own transportation and have been first aid certified so I know what to look for at the first signs of any trouble with pets. My days and weekends are perfect time for walking and caring for dogs and cat sitting. I work part time at night as a caregiver, but I can plan house sitting around my other work. I like pets and can’t wait to meet yours. I have a big home and am open to one or two animals a week, but no double booking and no outside cats. “I’m so grateful that I found Cathleen! I was in a pinch and she saved the day! I can’t speak more highly of how much she helped and made puppy at home! Would definitely recommend and use again!!! If I could give 10 stars I would.”

About: I've been caring for dogs since I was a teenager, and they've always held a special place in my life. I had my beloved dog, Chico, for 16 wonderful years before we eventually lost him to old age and health issues. Although he was small, he had a HUGE personality and was basically my sidekick. He went just about everywhere with me: dog parks, camping, hiking, beach adventures, road trips, and yes, probably more dog-friendly pubs than the average dog. 😂 At the beach, his absolute favorite activity was sniffing every single piece of driftwood like it contained critically important information. And after all those adventures, he was happiest snuggled up next to me under approximately 47 blankets. Caring for Chico through every stage of his life, from an energetic young pup all the way through his senior years, gave me firsthand experience with how much a dog's needs can change over time and how much love, patience, and companionship they deserve along the way. Over the years, I've also become the go-to person for friends and family when they need someone they trust with their dogs. I genuinely enjoy getting to know each pup's personality because, as any dog person knows, they ALL have one! After 16 years with Chico, our home definitely feels a little too quiet without a dog in it. Getting to welcome other people's pups into our lives and give them some of that love we've been missing is something my whole family really enjoys. So while you're away, there's a pretty good chance your dog will be getting spoiled with attention over here. 🐾 My schedule is very flexible, so I have plenty of time to spend with the pups in my care! My main daily routine is getting my kids to and from the bus stop, which is close enough that we can easily walk when needed. I'm home throughout most of the day, so pets in my care won't be spending long stretches of time alone. I have plenty of flexibility for boarding, daycare, walks, and drop-ins, and I'm excited to fill some of that extra time caring for new furry friends! Your pet's safety and comfort will always come first! In my home, pups are welcomed into our everyday family life and treated like one of our own. We have a spacious, fully fenced backyard where they can safely get outside throughout the day. We currently don't have any pets of our own after losing our beloved dog, Chico, after 16 wonderful years together. We definitely miss having a pup around and love getting the chance to give our furry guests all that extra love and attention while they're here! I'll follow your dog's feeding, medication, potty, sleeping, and other care instructions as closely as possible. I also understand that some dogs settle in immediately while others need a little extra time and space to feel comfortable, and I'm happy to follow their lead. When caring for pets in your home, I'll treat your home and your pet with the same respect and care I'd want someone to show mine. I'll follow your instructions closely and always make sure doors, gates, and other areas are secure. And of course, expect photo updates! I want you to be able to enjoy your time away knowing your pup is safe, comfortable, and well cared for.
“Reanna took wonderful care of my golden while we were having work done at our house. She patiently helped him recover from an upset tummy and provided ample cuddles and outdoor fun! I know he'd love to stay with her again!”

“Rachael is the absolute best! Quick to respond and keep me updated on my doggo with pics. It’s my first time using Rover and she made the experience a great one. She came in as a lifesaver when i needed a super last min sitter. She took care of my Luna like it was her own. Super recommend ❤️”

“Thanks to Cara we had a wonderful first-time experience on Rover. Yoshi did his first Rover doggy day care and he had a blast. Cara took great care of him and her little girls took to Yoshi. He came home and promptly passed out. Expecting a lot more play dates in the near future. It's awesome to find another Corgi Mom. Thank you, Cara, for welcoming Yoshi into your home. We loved the photos you sent to us throughout the day and hope to add more memories.”

“Devan was awesome! Great communication and a natural at connecting with dogs and keeping them engaged. Benji did not want to leave! We hope to see Devan again!”

“Tomas was great with our boxer boy, Hank. Hank played all morning in Tomas’ yard, and he was tuckered out all afternoon. Tomas kept us updated with pictures of Hank playing hard and even a snuggle towards the end of the day. We will definitely reach out again when Hank needs another play day!”

“It was my first time trying out a sitter for Wee and I was very nervous, but Steven and Rachel completely alleviated that worry with frequent updates, photos and genuine care for my pup. When I next need a sitter, Wee will definitely be staying with them. Thank you Steven and Rachel! :)”

“I've recently relocated to Seattle for work, and while waiting for my residence to become available, I needed assistance with watching my dog, Fat Boi, during business hours. I connected with Keith, and he's been such a great help! Fat Boi is shy and very attached to me, he's prone to getting a little depressed when we aren't together, but Keith helps to enrich his days and gives him some extra socialization. Fat Boi gets to people watch out from the balcony, and go on walks to see the water, and enjoys some great snacks while hanging out with Keith! I'm grateful that he's been there to look after Fat Boi and give him attention while I'm at work. I'm a long way from home, and so is Fat Boi, and it's one less source of stress in this huge transition to have the peace of mind that my little fuzzy guy is being thoughtfully taken care of until we are reunited at the end of the day.”

“We appreciate you so much, Finni and Sophie appreciate you caring for them. They seem to have really enjoyed their day. Thank you so much for your kindness.”

About: I have had pets my entire life dogs, cats, rabbits and horses. I am comfortable around every type of dog, however prefer to sit smaller dogs up to 25lbs. I have a mini dachshund who is 16 years old, who misses having friends around. I am familiar with puppies through seniors. I do work from home 4 days a week. Currently I have an unfenced yard, I use retractable leashes to maintain safety when outside. Your fur-baby will get daily walks and plenty of love. I work from home 4 days a week, giving me the opportunity to give your pet plenty of attention in an adults only home with one dog for companion time. We do daily walks around the neighborhood, in a wooded area or at Manchester state park. I don’t currently have a fenced yard, outdoor time will be on retractable leashes for potty breaks, time on the fenced deck, and daily walks using your pets regular leash. Should pets need to be left home unattended I will ensure everyone is in safe, separate locations close enough companionship but not mischief. Safety and well cared for is my goal.
“Brianna was great, ready for our arrival and Mila took to her just fine. I put a lot of stock into how my Pup greets someone, and it was very comfortable. I appreciate that the house was close to where I needed to be and the calendar was open. Thank you for taking care of my girl”

“Baloo had a great time with Valerie! She was prompt in responses and offered a meet and greet before we dropped him off on a holiday! She took great care of him and was very flexible with us.”

“We have a newly adopted senior dog with severe separation anxiety after the loss of his previous owner. Leaving him home alone proved unsuccessful. In searching for a solution we found Jennifer and Alex. We are so relieved Jennifer and Alex welcomed Jett into their home and provided a safe, loving, fun place. He socializes with their pets beautifully and we get to enjoy the texted photos showing him happy and at ease with their three dog pack.”

“Karl was a great host for our 6 month old puppy who needed lots of interaction with people. He worked with our schedule and made sure Albie felt at home from the moment he was dropped off to pick up. The whole family interacted with Albie, giving a balanced amount of play vs rest so I picked up a happy calm puppy.”

“We are traveling from the San Francisco Bay Area visiting friends. Kristina and her family welcomed Dusty with open arms and loving hearts! We were able to leave Dusty with out worry. They are the best!!”

“We are so grateful to Celia and her wonderful family for taking care of our dog. They are so positive and loving. Tesla came home excited and obviously well cared for. I really don’t want to leave a review and have Celia‘s business fill because we will be bringing Tesla back on a weekly basis. They are the best dog sitters we’ve ever had.”

“Emily has the setup when it comes to caring for dogs. Our pup, Bowie, was picked up both days happy as can be. Emily updated us throughout the day with pictures and engaged with Bowie with some of his favorite games, tug and Frisbee. He even made other dog friends! What more can you ask for. I'm handsdown booking with Emily/ Pacific Paws again ☺️”

“Mary-Elizabeth has been an integral part of our pups' lives for almost a year and a half. She is dependable, extremely prompt with communication, and so great with Emma and Potato. They always get so excited when she comes for walks, and she is such a dog-whisperer that I'm pretty sure they're better with her than they are with us! They also really had fun staying over for a weekend getaway. :) We will always recommend Mary-Elizabeth for anyone in the Seattle area looking for a dog walker!”

“Poppy and I both enjoy the walks with Cathleen so very much. She’s one of Poppy’s favorite people because she’s fun and friendly, patient and kind. I appreciate the exercise and socialization Poppy gets. Cathleen just makes our day! 🐾💕”

About: I grew up with dogs and cats and love animals. I'm the "go to" dog sitter and walker for many of my friends and now seem to be a very popular "dog aunt." I am a local photographer and yoga teacher and wellness worker. I enjoy getting out for walks and having canine company while exploring. I have flexibility in my schedule most days for walks and play time. There is nothing better than seeing a repeat client and watching them do the 4 legged dance when I arrive. I have flexibility in my schedule most days. I teach a couple of yoga classes on the island and work at a few local businesses 2-3 times a week. My hours of work and away from home can vary from 3-5 hours at a time. Other work is done remotely from any location. I give lots of love and care to pets I spend time with and am very aware and present to safety and needs at all times. As a yogi and wellness provider, I have a calm demeanor that animals can sense and am skilled at calming nerves and being patient with pets who take some time to warm up.

About: Lifelong dog lover with years of hands-on experience! I grew up with multiple dogs and have spent years walking and caring for pets, including overnight stays. I’m comfortable with different routines, energy levels, and personalities—and I always make sure every dog feels safe, happy, and cared for. Mondays–Wednesdays are my off days and my most flexible time. I work Thursday–Sunday afternoons starting around 2, and my mornings are usually reserved for staying active—walks, workouts, or anything that gets me moving. I don’t have pets currently, but I’ve grown up caring for family and friends’ dogs and I’m comfortable with most breeds, prioritizing calm, safe, attentive care.

“Mel was amazing and patient. Got the dog great exercise and the pup came home happy! She’s very communicative and attentive to the individual dog’s comforts, needs, and preferences.”
About: I have been around animals since childhood when I helped my family raise and take care of our chickens, two calico cats, turtle, rabbit, and parakeets. But I always wanted a puppy... Fast forward to adulthood, I helped my sister raise her mixed-breed puppy and shortly after moving away I got one of my own, a German Shepherd. I have raised and trained her since 10 weeks old and am well versed in any activities that your dog needs to stay stimulated, from training to walking to playing games and fetch. I work from home so I can be fairly flexible with scheduling but would appreciate a day or two of lead time if possible. Thanks! I am comfortable getting your dog in and out of their crate as well as in and out of the house, or in and out of the car (if requested/needed).
About: I treat every dog like my own and focus on creating a calm, safe, and positive environment. I’m patient, reliable, and always pay close attention to each dog’s personality and needs. Whether your pup is energetic, shy, or a senior who needs gentle care, I adjust my approach to make them feel comfortable. Im currently working remotely and part time, so I have plenty of time to make pet care part of my daily routine. Great help for you and for me I create a calm, safe, and pet-friendly environment where dogs can feel relaxed and happy. I keep a consistent routine with regular walks, playtime, feeding schedules, and quiet rest periods. I pay close attention to each dog’s comfort, behavior, and energy level, and adjust activities to fit their personality.
“Mack loved Abby! And bless her for coming to give me a puppy break on such a rainy, cold day. She took Mack for an extended walk and he came back good and tired. Exactly what was needed today!”

About: I've been taking care of animals of all shapes and sizes since I was kid. I have professional experience with dog and cat boarding, sitting, walking, grooming, daycare, etc. I love animals and cant wait to meet yours. I work from home as a caretaker so my schedule is extremely flexible and there is always someone home to watch any animals we have visiting. I dont have any animals at home at the moment so there's a clean slate for me to focus on any specialized care your pet may need while in my care.

About: I am good with a number of pets, I've worked with both conventional furry pets and even feathered and scaly ones, although the scales I definitely have less experience with. I've looked after people's pets plenty of times in the past, both dogs and cats. I much prefer medium or small dogs since I am a small person, but if the large dog is a gentle giant I will certainly consider it. I can work around your schedule quite well, I am very flexible! Weekdays are easy, weekends might need some negotiating but I am open to it. I own a very nervous and anxious cat, so I cannot take overnights sadly. I care for pets as if they are little people. Pets are wonderful companions for life and deserve to be cherished while we have them.

Kept me updated with pictures every day I was gone, made sure no other fur friends stole his emotional support dinosaur, and gave him his meds with treats twice a day! 12/10 stars. Will be rebooking for every trip from now on, man loves his fur babies, even the ones he doesn’t own!”

I highly recommend Brianna as a caring dog sitter.”

“This was our first long stay and it went great! Got great daily updates with photos and videos of Rupee. Rupee looked very well cared for and seemed to have a blast.”

“Seth was amazing with our dog. We have a very strong dog that has had some issues with reactivity and resource guarding. He has been through training, but isn’t perfect. Our dog really needs someone that will provide him with structure and hold firm boundaries. Seth did all that with so much care. I didn’t want my dog to impose too much on their family, so my expectations were just to give him walks and yard play time. Seth made sure he got walks, a ton of yard play, and indoor cuddles with his family. I highly recommend Seth! Thank you so much!!!!😊”

“My 2 year old Springer Spaniel Boxer mix, Edie, had a wonderful time with Jana and her family! When I normally leave Edie at her doggy daycare to travel, she barely eats and seems anxious when I come to pick her up. Not the case this time! Edie ate all the food I had packed for her along with all the treats! She loved running around and puppy style wrestling with Hazel! Jana gave me updates twice a day with pictures and videos of the ladies playing. I truly do believe that Edie had a dog vacay with Hazel and Jana!”

“Tomas was great! We had daily updates and pictures. I could tell Murphy was very comfortable with him (sleeping on his back). We will leave Murphy with Tomas in the future!”

“Karen took amazing care of our 13 year old girl. We got plenty of photos and videos of our babe just having a great time. She was so happy in each photo! Thank you Karen and Matt!”

“What sets David apart from other sitters is his core understanding of dog psychology and behavior. All of his many video update included some explanation of the setup, situation, or behavior in the video. He can easily make dogs feel welcome, safe, and understood.”
