About: **Now accepting new clients in Fayetteville, Fort Bragg, Raeford, Anderson Creek, Hope Mills, and surrounding areas!!** **I will be available for the upcoming summer vacation season! Book now, space is limited and current clients have priority!** Hello! Thank you for considering me to care for your pet! I'd love to share a little about me and my background! I have been caring for pets since I was a kid and working in rescue since I was a teenager. I owned and operated a boarding and grooming facility in Texas, sold when we moved to NC, and decided to give Rover a try! We were stationed in CA for 2 years and now back to NC!! My Rover clients in both states have become great friends! I have years of experience caring for large families of pets as well as multiple families at once! I only accept a few dog clients (due to multiple visits per day requirement) to make sure I can be available should the need arise. I strive to provide the utmost care and flexibility in scheduling for my clients! I have experience with pets from all walks of life, including health and behavioral concerns. If your pet has a health or behavioral concern, please make me aware at the time of booking. It will not deter me from booking, but I want to be prepared for the initial meet and greet and subsequent visits. I do require a meet and greet prior to accepting new clients. Meet and greets are a great way to make sure I'm a great fit for your family as well as help make your pet comfortable with me during visits when you're away. When booking, if I will be your dogs only caregiver for a 24+ hour period, I require a minimum of 3 visits. A typical booking schedule would be a 30 minute visit between 07:00-08:00, a midday visit around 14:00, and a bedtime visit between 20:00 and 21:00. I will not allow your dog to go any longer than 12 hours between visits overnight. **PUPPIES UNDER 12 MONTHS** I require a minimum 1 hour drop in with a maximum of 4 hours between visits. The exception is a maximum of 8 hours over night. My current 1 hour drop in puppy rate is $50 per visit. Cat visits can be a minimum of once per day or once every other day at your discretion. If booking for small animals such as hamsters, rabbits, guniea pigs, birds, etc, please book as a cat visit. During my visits, I will take multiple photos of your pet along with providing an account of my visit with your pet! Please note, your adorable pets photos may be used on my Rover profile for other pet parents to see! Bookings must be fully confirmed and paid through Rover to be guaranteed! During the busy seasons (holidays, block leave, rotations, etc) I am not able to guarantee availability for a last minute booking request. My days revolve around pet care! My pets and yours included! If I sound like a good fit for your pet care needs, please reach out! I look forward to working with you!! I am available for visits during rotations, block leave schedules, deployments, and most holidays! Book soon as spots are filling up fast and my current clients have priority!

About: Hi ! 👋🏻 I’m Racquel, I married a military man & moved from Australia to the United States in 2022. My whole life I was raised around all different breeds and sizes of dogs. Growing up in rural Australia I have a lot of experience with working dogs in property settings as well as having the pleasure of loving on my mums Chihuahuas. I began working in a more professional sense with dogs when I was 17 during an internship with Dogs NT training organization where I primarily worked with Rottweilers in obedience & circuit training. I then took the skills I had developed and began working with rescue organizations as a foster, focused on high energy and untrained dogs to give them the best opportunity at finding their forever home. I have also volunteered in veterinary clinics and cared for friends and families dogs. I am very confident with large dog breeds, Vocal dog breeds and have lots of experience with dog aggressive dogs. I only host 1 family at a time and am very happy to work with any dog that some may perceive to be 'to hard.' I'm not easily frightened or deterred but also if you have a little cuddle bug who is interested in just chilling I'm just as excited to care for and love on them. I took a break from rover after the delivery of my daughter, as you can see I did have to cancel one booking with only 3 days notice due to Corvias demanding to do lead paint repair work on my house, this was completely out of my control & they basically told me, move out if they couldn’t do it. I would never ever cancel a booking lightly. I can provide extra personal references for anyone who would like more information than my current reviews can supply. Unfortunately due to my current situation my husband and I are Unable to have a dog of our own, immigrating dogs to Australia is very expensive & very stressful for dogs so we are waiting till we move back, which breaks our hearts as we have never lived in a home without one before. We are not on rover to make a lot of money, just to enjoy the company of dogs, help people out and any little extra money we make on the side goes straight into our daughters long term savings for her future education. I am working from home with an extremely flexible schedule, so your baby will never be alone and they never have to wait to have their needs met. We treat them as we would our own dogs. We have a full home, with a huge field out the back there is no time which your doggo will be left unattended outside. We access some beautiful dog parks (with your permission.) They will be doted on endlessly with ample outside time, play time, twice daily walks in the beautiful field behind our house. With your permission I enjoy providing enrichment activities (At no extra cost) like, snuffle mats & lick mats. We allow animals in every room & on all furniture unless you have a specific request to maintain boundaries set in your own home. (For example; Not allowed on the bed) Expanding on that if you are currently working on aspects of training I can implement that into their stay as to assist in maintaining progress. Your dog/doggos will be safe as I strictly only host one family at a time. They will be loved, walked, cuddled and played with all day every day. I send photos and a detailed update of the days adventures every afternoon but can provide them as much as you would like as I understand how hard it can be to trust someone.

“Melissa helped me out with daycare for my dog Panda-Bell at the last minute! She was so responsive and caring: sending me pictures and updates throughout the day. She actually picked him up from my home. I am so happy with her services and plan to bring my dog to her over and over.”

“Ludris M. is truly a gem! She has taken such incredible care of my dog, Coco, and I couldn’t ask for a better sitter. From the moment Coco met her, it was clear they had a special connection, Coco absolutely loves staying with Ludris. What sets her apart isn’t just her kindness and reliability, but the extra love she puts into everything she does. Ludris even makes Coco’s food from scratch using natural ingredients, which gives me such peace of mind knowing my dog is not only happy, but healthy too. She treats Coco like family, and it shows. If you're looking for someone who will love and care for your pet like their own, Ludris is the one. We’re beyond grateful to have found her!”

Lizbeth C.
“Been with her for almost a decade and within that time she has always been so loving and caring for any animal that she’s met. She even adopts older cats to give them a second chance/loving house hold. She treats her dog better then most owners to include homemade food and any extra supplements for skin, fur, nails, ect… Liz is definitely an animal person! So I’d highly recommend her to be a caregiver for any animal and I’m sure they’d love her.”

“Amber is great with pets and did a wonderful job dog sitting my lab, Bennett. The only bad thing you can say about Amber is that your dog may start to love her as much as you. Highly recommended and will use again whenever I have to travel for training.”

Alexandria R.
“Ally is no kidding a dog whisperer. She's great with all animals, but dogs love her and she has such a way of being both kind and yet in charge. We have a 130 pound lab who occasionally tugs. She suggested a harness and took her for the first time. Game changer. Trust her implicitly to walk and care for any animal. Highly recommend.”
