About: Your Pet's Comfort, First. Animals have always found me. Growing up, I shared my home with a Chihuahua, a Shih Tzu, and a Terrier… three very different personalities who taught me early that every pet has their own language. Since then, friends and family have trusted me with their dogs (and an occasional cat), and I've spent time volunteering at shelters, sitting with animals who just needed someone patient and present. What Sets Me Apart? I don't expect pets to perform affection for me. Some dogs and cats gravitate toward me right away; others need space, and that's okay. My focus is on their comfort, not my ego. I'm tuned in to how animals feel, whether that's an older dog who moves a little slower and needs gentler handling, or a young pup with energy to burn. I match my energy to theirs, not the other way around. Specific Skills • Boundary-respecting care: I read body language and let the animal lead; no forcing interaction • Age-aware attention: attuned to the different needs of senior dogs (joint sensitivity, slower pace) versus younger, high-energy ones • Daily energy management: I know how much play and movement different dogs need to feel settled, and I make sure they get it • Health-conscious routines: tick checks, coat condition, appetite and behavior observations; I notice the small stuff • Multi-species experience: comfortable with both dogs and cats, including shelter animals with varied backgrounds I treat the animals in my care like I'd want someone to treat my own: patient, observant, and responsive to what they need that day. I currently work part time so I’m able to be flexible with your pets needs and schedules. I’m available to house visit/ walk during weekdays and overnight on weekends and Mondays. In-Home Care Approach I care for pets in their own space, where they feel safest. No hosting, no unfamiliar territory — just me showing up where they're already comfortable. What That Looks Like • I arrive calm — no rushed energy, no loud entry. I give them time to adjust to my presence before anything else. • I learn their space — where they eat, where they hide, their favorite spot by the window. I work within their routine. • Energy out, safely — walks, play, or backyard time based on what they need that day. Tick checks after outdoor time. • I notice the small shifts — eating habits, energy levels, anything that feels off. You'll hear about it. • I leave their space as I found it — maybe a little furrier, but otherwise intact Why This Matters Some pets do fine in new places. Many don't. Older dogs, anxious cats, rescues with history — they hold their ground best at home. I respect that. My job is to be the steady, familiar presence in their environment :)

About: I’m big on personalized, one-on-one care and giving each pet the attention they deserve. I’m very attentive, detail-oriented, and observant of body language, so I try to understand each pet’s comfort level, energy, and routine rather than taking a one-size-fits-all approach. As a dog owner myself, I know how much trust it takes to leave your pet with someone, and I treat every pet like they’re my own. Because my work is contract-based, I have a flexible schedule and plenty of time during the week for pet care. I love animals, and as a dog parent myself, I’ve kept my availability open during times I know are especially helpful for other pet parents. I’ve built walks and drop-in visits into my routine and like to keep my schedule manageable so I can be reliable, attentive, and fully present with each pet. I know how important trust is when someone is coming into your home and caring for your pet. I’m respectful of your space, attentive to instructions, and very mindful of a pet’s body language and comfort level. I aim to provide thoughtful, reliable care so your pet feels safe and well looked after in their familiar environment. Whether your dog has high energy and needs a long, brisk walk, or your cat prefers quiet companionship and feather wand playtime, I adapt my visits to your pet's needs. 🩵 For walks: I follow your routines explicitly to ensure a stress-free experience. I avoid off-leash areas, enforce strict safety measures on walks, and practice safe socialization. 🧡 For house-sitting: I know how hard it is to leave your fur babies. I request a meet and greet before accepting to take care of your pet at your home to align on expectations. In this meet and greet, we would review your pet’s daily routine, dietary needs, medication schedules, and behavioral quirks. Also discuss home access, safety measures, and disclosing security cameras or household staff who may come by during the visit. For house-sitting, I will ensure consistent communication by sending 2-3 updates per day with photos and summaries of how your pet ate, their bathroom habits, and how they behaved. I will also treat your residence with respect.

About: I come from a family of veterinarians so I can’t remember a time when I wasn’t around animals or caring for them. I’ve been lucky to have an array of pets including dogs, cats, ferrets, rabbits, squirrels, gerbils, hamsters, guinea pigs, turtles and exotic fish. I’m currently in medical school and trying to earn some extra cash. I’m busy during the day due to school, but can study anywhere in the evenings to house sit. I can walk, feed, and keep pet company. I’m used to following long instructions for care, such as, different times and types of medications or supplements that need to be given.

About: Our Why? We have Huskies, and while still offering our service to other breeds, we highlight that it takes a fellow Husky owner to understand what a Husky needs. Despite their mischievous shenanigans, Houdini escape attempts, endless fur-sheddings, high-pitched vocalizations, bubbly, energized personalities, and hyperactive frolicking, we adore huskies. We understand finding experienced, dependable, loving, and trustworthy caregivers for your Husky isn't easy. That's why we are here to help. We currently have two friendly young huskies (one male and one female- fixed and crate-trained). We also have experience with English bulldogs, Sharpeis, Chow-Chows, Labs, Doodles, and Boxers. We only offer care for dogs based upon the comfortability of the match to our pet-care style and demeanor. We love our pets as we will love yours. We are focused on weekends, holidays, and summer care. We are open to possible weekday arrangements if your dog is crate-trained. Before booking us, a drop-by visit is required to test the compatibility of all humans and dogs. A few things: Special note-while we have never owned a French bulldog, we are particularly interested in learning to care for this breed. Your pet must be spayed or nurtured to receive boarding in our home. Also, we are sorry but we cannot offer care for full or mixed Pit Bull breeds. How does pet care fit into your daily and weekly lives? Our pets receive two meals a day, comprising dry food and water. Our pets are crate-trained and remain crated when owners are away. Most of the time, there is an adult in the house. Our dogs can access a large fenced backyard with green grass and trees. Our dogs walk with owners through nearby Branch Brooke Park and visit the dog park almost daily. Our dogs are crated during adult meal times and sleep in the main bedroom on the floor, side couch, or end of bed at night. We maintain a clean home and provide puppy pads during inclement weather to avoid mud and chaos. Pets have access to some rooms, but not all rooms in the house. Toys and treats are provided regularly. Linens on beds where animals may sleep are washed and switched out regularly. Our gate is blocked off on both sides because huskies are known for escaping. Our pets have ID collars and ID dog tags and wear GPS trackers during the day. Our dogs are up-to-date on immunizations and have been spayed/neutered. We don't hit our dogs with our hands or objects but use basic word commands. Training dogs is always a work in progress. They are both loved for their uniqueness. We only plan to care for pets in our home. We have a large and welcoming home.

About: Since birth, I grew up around all different kinds of animals. I’ve raised 3 beautiful pit bulls and lab mix while also having the opportunity to dog sit friends pets from Golden Retriever’s to Yorkies. I am currently going to school part-time so I have plenty of free time to watch over your pets! My schedule is very flexible and easy to work around. I have a fenced backyard as well as front yard. I love playing fetch with my dog while also playing tag. After tricks, she loves receiving her treats.
