Scott loves dog and my dog had a great time with him. What attracted my attention at the beginning was Scott’s long term experience of taking care of dogs and turned a rescued dog into a therapy dog. During meet and greet, Scott was transparent and he told me his life stories particularly with dogs by showing many pictures. He missed his last dog Jack very much. He also patiently learned my dog’s behavior in order to make my dog being less stressful and comfortable during boarding. He was willing to make changes to accommodate my dog’s behavior and he prepared well before I dropped off my dog. He updated me at least once a day with multiple pictures. I could see my dog was happy, playful and tired. When I picked up my dog, Scott reviewed details with me what happened during my dog’s stay. I highly recommend Scott being your dog sitter. Your dog will be in good hands.

Missy was great with Meadow. She’s very responsive to messages. Meadow looked so happy in the pics. She came home happy and tired from all the fun she had with Nissy and the other I would definitely recommend her services.

About: Hi! I’m Jen, a lifelong dog lover with a soft spot for rescues and senior pups. I recently said goodbye to my own dog, Eric, a golden mix I rescued at one year old and was lucky to have for almost 15 years. Caring for him through every stage of life gave me deep experience, patience, and a genuine understanding of what dogs need to feel safe, loved, and happy. I work from home with a very flexible schedule, which means your dog will get plenty of attention, companionship, and timely care, never rushed or left alone for long stretches. I truly miss having a dog around for daily walks, company, and that quiet joy dogs bring to everyday life, and pet sitting has been a wonderful way to share that love again. I’m active and enjoy walks that match your dog’s energy level, whether that’s a relaxed stroll or something a bit more adventurous. I also volunteer with a nonprofit called Hauling Hopes, which has further strengthened my comfort with different dog personalities and needs. I care for pets as if they were my own, keeping their routine as consistent as possible so they feel comfortable and secure. I’m attentive to feeding, walks, playtime, and medications, and I closely monitor behavior and wellbeing. Since I work from home with a flexible schedule, pets get plenty of attention, companionship, and timely potty breaks. I’m always happy to provide updates and photos for peace of mind.

Janette was wonderful with my 7 months old puppy. He is extremely energetic, inquisitive, and playful . She shared pictures of him every day. He participated in the birthday of one of the furries of the household and had some of the home made treats! She answered my requests right away . I felt very comfortable leaving my pup with her and will definitely come back again. Thank you for your love and care to our lovely puppy!

We had a great experience with Kim! This was our first time being away from Stella for the night and Kim really helped to put use at ease. Kim sent us pictures and videos of what Stella was up to the whole weekend. Stella has been sleeping since we got home so she must have had a great time playing with the other dogs! We have already booked another DogVacay with Kim.

About: I’ve been an animal lover for as long as I can remember and have spent years helping care for pets for family, friends, and neighbors. I genuinely enjoy getting to know each pet’s personality and making sure they feel comfortable, loved, and cared for while their owners are away. I understand how important it is to find someone you can trust. Whether your pet loves long walks, playtime, cuddles, or simply sticking to their normal routine, I’ll make sure they receive the same care and attention I’d want for my own pets. My goal is for both you and your pet to feel completely at ease. I have a flexible schedule that allows me to provide reliable and attentive care for your pets. Just let me know what times would work best for you! I understand how important consistency is, so I do my best to follow your pet’s normal routine, including feeding schedules, walks, playtime, and any special instructions. Whether you need care during the week, on weekends, or while you’re away on vacation, I’ll make sure your pet receives plenty of attention, exercise, and companionship. I know how much trust goes into leaving your pet in someone else’s care. I prioritize safety, communication, and making sure your pet feels comfortable and secure at all times. I’ll treat your home and your pet with the same respect and care that I would expect for my own. I pay close attention to each pet’s individual needs, personality, and comfort level, and I’m happy to provide updates and photos so you can have peace of mind while you’re away.

Thank goodness for Emily!!! We had a family emergency and she helped immensely. We also had to keep extending our dog’s stay with her day by day. Being able to focus on my daughter’s health knowing that my pup was okay was very comforting. I cannot recommend Emily enough! Thank you!!

Rebecca and her husband were fantastic! I have a 7r old female Labrador retriever that is quite anxious and easily panicked. I had her shipped up to Pennsylvania from Texas when i had to move and i needed a place for her to stay while I was out of town. From the moment I booked with them, they were in constant contact and reassurance of her well-being. She stayed with them for about a weeks worth of boarding. I had constant updates through photos and videos multiple times daily. They were both so kind and live in a great neighborhood. They did everything they could to accommodate her to the best of their ability, even went as far as giving her chicken when she wouldn’t eat her food! These folks are a gem in the dog boarding community, and you would be lucky to book with them! They really love and care for animals and treat your pet as if it were their own! I will be using them again anytime I need a sitter for my dog Maddie!

About: I grew up with dogs my whole life and have always had a natural connection with them. Although this is my first time offering pet sitting professionally, my veterinary background means I can recognize signs of stress, illness, or discomfort quickly — giving pet owners extra peace of mind. I treat every dog/cat like my own. I’m currently not working, so I’m available most of the day, every day. The only exception is Monday and Wednesday mornings, when I have English classes. Outside of that, I’m fully dedicated to giving pets the time and attention they deserve. I live in a spacious 3-story apartment with a balcony, and the surrounding area has plenty of grass and green spaces — perfect for walks and outdoor time. I don’t have pets of my own, so your furry friend will have my undivided attention in a calm, pet-friendly environment.

Kimberly did such a great job at making me feel at ease and I didn’t feel worried at all with Kai being away. Will definitely be using Kimberly again!

This is the second time we’ve left blue with Renata. She is well taken care of. She loves going over to hang out with Renata‘s dogs and Renata gives us plenty of updates and works with us. If we’re running late from returning from our trip, I would recommend her for anybody who has a large breed dog. Her dogs are well behaved and she knows what she’s doing!

Our Cooper has always been with us. Staying overnight with Val was only the second time in 5 years he has been away from us. She did such a great job sending updates and pics. I was really impressed because she actually got him to eat. I would recommend her highly and if we need her again, I will definitely look her up.

Blu came home either worn out from playing with the other dogs or depressed he had to leave the other dogs, but either way, Blu was in good hands and enjoyed himself so much that he didn't miss us! Tristan and his wife were very friendly and had a great home for Blu to feel comfortable while away from his own home.

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Fogelsville

1 / 1
5.0 out of 5 stars

Our two dogs found a home away from home with Mike and his family. Our male is not quite a year old and is very expressive with lots of emotion. Our female is 8 years old and has a harder time boarding at a kennel. We needed someone who understands dogs and who can give the outdoor space and family environment that helps them stay calm and happy. Mike was understanding and supportive of both dogs. He knew from experience how to handle both personalities. Our vacation was more relaxing knowing the dogs were in good hands, and it was fun seeing the pictures Mike would send. We really appreciate Mike and his family opening their home to our pets.

They were so great with my high energy pup Maverick! Sent plenty of photos and videos every day of Mav looking so happy and playing with their dog. I was at ease and very comfortable leaving Mav in their care. They were attentive to any special needs he had. Michael even offered tips on certain things to help train him! Will definitely be booking again!

There are 708 sitters on Rover for Pet Boarding in Fogelsville. About 91% of Fogelsville sitters can respond to requests in under 60 minutes. Whether you’re planning ahead for holidays, need last-minute care, or need same-day coverage for an urgent trip, you can message multiple sitters at once to find available care.

Once you find the right match, you can arrange a Meet & Greet to ensure they are a perfect fit for your pet’s personality before confirming.

If you would like updates while you’re away, you can discuss with your sitter how many or how frequent you’d like those updates to be. The Rover app allows sitters to send photos, videos, and messages about your pet, including how many pee or poop breaks occurred. You can message your sitter at any time through the app and our support team is available 24/7 by email or chat if you have concerns.

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .

While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.

Many sitters in PA ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.

By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.

Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.

If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
