“Marleny and her family took great care of my babygirl Waffles for like 4 days. Was great in communicating by sending me photos. And had a big yard and family members to play with my Waffles. I am forever grateful and will be utilizing her services again.”

“Kim was incredibly concerned about my dog, Laila. I neglected to inform her about my dog’s open wound, and she kindly offered to take her to my veterinarian. That’s the kind of caring and attentive caregiver I look for, and I highly recommend her to anyone seeking a great caregiver.”

“Melissa and Angel are so amazing! They did a fabulous job at looking after my sweet girl and sent me lots of updates with pictures and videos. She looked so comfy and cozy. She had a blast! My girl had an ear infection at the time of boarding as well and they did very well making sure to stay on her medication schedule. She was very calm and not agitated at all coming back from her stay. We had a huge hiccup with car troubles and needed to extend her stay 2 more nights. Melissa and Angel made me feel so comfortable and assured me that everything would be okay when extending the times. They worked with me the entire time! Thank you both and Sheva hopes to see you again! :)”

About: I have had many pets since I was young and enjoy caring for them. I love all animals and look forward to meeting new animal friends! Currently a full time stay at home dad / part time paramedic. I have plenty of spare time to help out anyone who needs pet care assistance. I have a 1/4 acre yard unfenced that I let my dog and cat play around in. They are both trained to not run away, so I can have any other pets leashed and keep an eye on them without having to worry too much about my own pets. I can crate if needed/preferred.
“Karen was fantastic with our two dogs! After driving across country the pups were stressed! Is was very clear from the consistent updates that Karen helped them to relax. Karen was also very understanding about my changing schedule. I highly recommend Karen and her services!!!”

“Keri Ann took great care of Cristal, I felt at ease leaving Cristal as Keri Ann was welcoming and I could tell she turley has a passion for dogs. I also had to change my schedule and she was very flexible.”

“Augie had a fabulous time with Heaven and her dogs and the others. It is a wonderful setting down a street with few houses and lots of property. Heaven is enjoyable and easy to work with as well as flexible and easy going. Augie will be back soon!”

“Jazmine (and her boyfriend Norman) took wonderful care of our 12-year-old black Lab, Judy, who is a cancer survivor and a bit particular—sweet, but needy and not a fan of other dogs. Jazmine cared for her in her home, made sure she had her morning medicine, and sent us daily updates with snuggle photos that made us feel completely at ease. Judy was clearly loved and beautifully looked after. Warm, professional, and trustworthy—highly recommend.”

“We had a meet and greet to be sure Teddy would be a good fit for their family. Things went well so we scheduled his stay. There was good communication prior to drop off and daily updates with pictures during his stay. From pictures we could see they included him as part of the family and he got lots of attention and exercise. When we picked Teddy up he looked happy. Sarah and Doug said he did well and was welcome to stay again. We felt very good about the experience and would book again.”

“I can’t say enough good things about Alexis. While I’m away, she sends photos and updates that give me so much peace of mind. It truly feels like my dog is being treated as part of her family, not just a pet she’s watching. You can tell she genuinely cares and puts love into what she does. Knowing my dog is safe, happy, and well cared for makes all the difference. I’m so grateful to have found someone I trust this much! 🐾”

“I love Lenah! More importantly, my dog loves Lenah too! Lenah is so sweet and clearly embraces her dog sitting job seriously. I received numerous pics of Auggie during his overnight sleepover which included playtime with her pup, Oatmeal, a walk to the library and cuddle time. When I picked Auggie up the next day, I received a report card and photo of him attached. As well as an adorable a dog toy!! Lenah really goes above and beyond. This is my second time using Lenah. and I wouldn’t else in the Easton vicinity.”

“Pam was absolutely wonderful! Marble liked her instantly when we met prior to his boarding. He separated from us very easily, and went to respectfully making himself right at home with the snuggles. We just got back home from picking him up, and he was all smiles with a happy tail! Pam is absolutely a dog person, who knows her stuff! We look forward to working with her in the future!”

Alonni was amazing!! She provided me so many updates and took the best care of my pup!! Lots of walks and adventures and getting the daily updates was a great bonus as opposed to the kennel. Rover will be the route I look to take moving forward as opposed to kennels and I hope that Alonni always has the availability I need because she was absolutely fantastic!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in PA ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
