What attracted my attention at the beginning was Scott’s long term experience of taking care of dogs and turned a rescued dog into a therapy dog. During meet and greet, Scott was transparent and he told me his life stories particularly with dogs by showing many pictures. He missed his last dog Jack very much. He also patiently learned my dog’s behavior in order to make my dog being less stressful and comfortable during boarding. He was willing to make changes to accommodate my dog’s behavior and he prepared well before I dropped off my dog. He updated me at least once a day with multiple pictures. I could see my dog was happy, playful and tired. When I picked up my dog, Scott reviewed details with me what happened during my dog’s stay. I highly recommend Scott being your dog sitter. About: Hi! I’m Jen, a lifelong dog lover with a soft spot for rescues and senior pups. I recently said goodbye to my own dog, Eric, a golden mix I rescued at one year old and was lucky to have for almost 15 years. Caring for him through every stage of life gave me deep experience, patience, and a genuine understanding of what dogs need to feel safe, loved, and happy. I work from home with a very flexible schedule, which means your dog will get plenty of attention, companionship, and timely care, never rushed or left alone for long stretches. I truly miss having a dog around for daily walks, company, and that quiet joy dogs bring to everyday life, and pet sitting has been a wonderful way to share that love again. I’m active and enjoy walks that match your dog’s energy level, whether that’s a relaxed stroll or something a bit more adventurous. I also volunteer with a nonprofit called Hauling Hopes, which has further strengthened my comfort with different dog personalities and needs. I care for pets as if they were my own, keeping their routine as consistent as possible so they feel comfortable and secure. I’m attentive to feeding, walks, playtime, and medications, and I closely monitor behavior and wellbeing. Since I work from home with a flexible schedule, pets get plenty of attention, companionship, and timely potty breaks. I’m always happy to provide updates and photos for peace of mind.

“This was our first time boarding our pups somewhere other than our house with family. I was a little nervous and Valerie and I did a meet and greet with our dogs before we booked. Valerie was communicative, updates were sent twice a day and included photos. We had a lovely vacation with out having to worry about our girls they were in good hands.
