About: I've owned three dogs in the past 20 years. A greyhound (rescue), a border collie/retriever mix (rescue) and a chihuahua. Each one unique in their personality, energy level and needs, giving me a broad understanding of dog care. I recently retired and can't think of a better way to spend some of my free time, than with pups. I'm available M-F, and we could probably negotiate some weekends if needed. I love taking dogs for walks. We frequently walked our dogs at Kolapechka park and utilized the dog play areas. I could do the same for yours. “Our two dogs seemed to be at ease with Megan during a four hour "day care" at her residence. They came home happy, tired and healthy. I think that's a good sign. I met her two dogs and found them to be gentle and well-behaved. Although our dogs were with her for only a four hour stay that day, she still somehow managed to get nice, little walk in for them! About: Hi! My name is Joan. I am recently retired and live on a farm. I have had dogs most of my life and have felt the passion to start dog sitting after losing our 15 yr old beloved dog fairly recently. I sure miss having furry four legged ones around to share my love for dogs, and want to be able to love on yours as I would my own. Having used Rover many times in the past for our own dog over the years, I know how very important it is to find someone you know you can trust to love & care for your pup, that perfect place that you won’t have to worry about them while you hoomans are away, that would be Me! I live on a farm with lots of acreage for running and playing. I also have experience with administering medications if needed. I want to make a worry free home away from home experience for your best friend(s) while mom & dad are away. With being retired, and pretty much a homebody, I will make sure that I will be home at all times to care for your pup. Potty breaks and play time will be frequent, with living on a farm we will be sure and have plenty of walking and running space for your pup. I live on a tucked off the road farm with plenty of acreage to run and play. Our farm is not a working farm, meaning we have no farm animals on the property. I have never crated any of my dogs, therefore I would not be crating yours unless of course you ask me to and provide the crate.

To ensure a safe, healthy, and clean environment for our young toddler, our own dog, and your pup, I ask that all guest dogs be fully potty trained and up-to-date on all vaccinations. Beyond offering a fun environment, I bring peace of mind. I am highly experienced in administering oral medications, so you can rest assured that any specific healthcare routines your dog requires will be handled safely, accurately, and on time. Because we have a toddler, I maintain a very clean, structured, and safe home environment where all interactions between dogs and children are closely supervised. I treat every guest dog like a member of our own family, ensuring they get plenty of affection, exercise, and personalized care!
