My last dog was a therapy dog I took into nursing homes, but his time has past. :( I have all my time to spend with your pets. I am available weekends too, very flexible schedule. Will walk daily and play with them depending on age etc. I have a fenced in yard with no other pets. I am looking for a dog for myself to adopt and turn into a therapy dog, so I don’t mind training or corrective actions if wanted/ needed. We currently have cats, ferrets, mice and 1 bearded dragon of our own, and we hold ourselves to the same high standard of care that we would want for them. Pet care fits naturally into our weekly routine because animals have always been a huge part of our lives. I work full-time, but I schedule my Rover services around my work hours so that every visit gets my full attention. I’m typically available before or after work for drop-ins, walks, and evening check-ins, and I always communicate clearly about my availability. My partner Luca helps provide additional flexibility. He is a full-time student and works part-time in a lab, with a schedule that tends to stay consistent for longer periods. Because our schedules often complement each other, one of us is usually available when the other is not. This allows us to offer more consistent and reliable care throughout the day. Even with busy schedules, caring for animals is something we both genuinely enjoy and make time for, and we never take on more than we can fully commit to. We primarily care for pets in our clients’ homes, where they feel safest and most comfortable. As a veterinary technician, safety is always my first priority. We follow your pet’s normal routines closely, including feeding, medications, walks, and playtime, while also keeping an eye out for any early signs of stress or illness. We’re respectful of your home, trustworthy with your space, and committed to creating a calm, clean environment for your pets while you’re away. About: I grew up with 2 dogs, one of which had special needs. I now own 4 cats and have helped raise a service dog in training. Animals are truly my passion, and I give my all to treat animals with all of the love, care, and respect they deserve. I’m a night shift nurse which leaves my days open for pets! He sent lots of pictures and gave feedback about how he was progressing. My dog is already better behaved after just a few days with Mike! About: I’ve been around dogs my entire life and come from a family of rescue lovers. I currently care for my own rescue dog, who has severe anxiety, and caring for him has taught me a lot of patience and how to recognize each pet’s different personalities and needs. Outside of work, I love reading, staying active, trying new coffee shops, and spending time with friends and family. I truly enjoy caring for others—whether that’s people or pets! I know how much our pets mean to us, and I’ll care for yours like they’re my own. I work during the week, primarily on Tuesday through Friday mornings and evenings. Since I work virtually some days, I have flexibility in my schedule as long as I have a quiet, confidential space for my clients. This allows me to be available for walks, drop-in visits, and pet care throughout the week when scheduling permits. I'm also fully available Saturday through Monday and enjoy spending my free time with animals. About: I’ve taken care of both cats and dogs for 10 years now. I’ve taken care of dogs as young as 6 months and as old as 10 years. I’ve watched pets for both friends and family along with caring for my own! I love animals very much I work full time and cram those hours into 3 days. I’m typically available Thursdays and Fridays the most, however I’m willing to be available on Tuesdays and Saturdays as well if needed! I take care of people with intellectual disabilities full time and did babysitting for a while as well. I have a big heart and can assure the best care for your fur babies! About: My husband and I have always had dogs. Our children are all grown now so our two dogs are like our children. We have a large house with a finished basement and a "doggie door" so our dogs can go in and out of the house at their own will into a fenced in back yard that is very private. We have a 13 year old chocolate lab and a 9 year old beagle mix. They are friendly and playful. One of our favorite weekend activities is hiking with our dogs. They also love swimming and fetching or sunbathing on our deck. They are just the best! We are a caring couple and have the time to spend sharing our love with your special pet.

What attracted my attention at the beginning was Scott’s long term experience of taking care of dogs and turned a rescued dog into a therapy dog. During meet and greet, Scott was transparent and he told me his life stories particularly with dogs by showing many pictures. He missed his last dog Jack very much. He also patiently learned my dog’s behavior in order to make my dog being less stressful and comfortable during boarding. He was willing to make changes to accommodate my dog’s behavior and he prepared well before I dropped off my dog. He updated me at least once a day with multiple pictures.
