About: For 13 years, I helped take care of and watch over our beautiful family dog. She loved to play in the yard and go on long walks around the neighborhood. Since then, I have attained more animal experience by house-sitting a friend's dog and cat for a weekend, as well as walking a dog almost every day for two years. I ran track at the University of Florida, and love fitness of any kind. I snowboard and hike regularly and can't wait for summer! About: I (Eren) have been a veterinary technician since 2023, working in a variety of settings including a clinic, shelter, and university research hospital caring for special-needs dogs. About: I've been around cats and dogs my whole life, but started taking care of dogs around the time I was 12 and moreso with cats around 13. We adopted a dog when I was 12 and I fed her, walked her, bathed her, taught her tricks, played with her, we'd even cuddle! We fostered a dog from a hoarder and had another dog after the loss of the last one and I continued to repeat the cycle with this big crazy whippersnapper! For drop ins, I like to meet the pet first and learn about their likes and dislikes and where to find all of their things. I like to ask questions on how to make sure they feel most comfortable with a new person and try to follow that advice to make sure they feel their best. For walks, I like to get an idea of where they like to walk and any behaviors I can expect while walking them before we head out on our adventure!
