About: Hello my name is Mesa! I’ve been dog sitting for 4 years of all ages & sizes. I love to taking care of my friend’s fur babies and adore animals. When caring for dogs, my goal is to spend as much outside as possible, go on adventures, relax on the couch & give them a lot of treats. They deserve the best love & life while they’re on earth. About: I have taken care of animals all my life. I was lucky enough to grow up in the country with cats, dogs, horses etc. My pets are just as important to me as my children. I have always given the best care and love to my pets.They are the best companions for humans. I have watched my daughter’s deaf dog. I have also taken care of many senior pets. I currently have a husky lab mix named Will that requires a lot of daily training to help him be a more well rounded dog. I have spent that better part of the year working with a trainer, as my dog is a huge part of my life. I am a better dog parent because of him. I am also already accustomed to long dog walks as we take our dog on walks three times a day. Our previous dog, Toby, who passed away last year from severe dog dementia. We adopted him later in his life from a shelter and we had 6 amazing years with him. There were also mobile issues which my partner and I would take shifts on taking care of him each day along with weekly laser treatments at the vet. It was a full time job and a learning experience. This was a big part of why training our new dog is so important to us, we want his mind and body to be healthy as he ages. I am overall a huge pet lover and would love to help any dog get outside more! I'm currently working part time, as I am in school to get my bachelors degree. I am available Monday, Friday- Anytime past 1 p.m. Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday- Mornings to early afternoon before 2 p.m. Saturday- Contact me for Saturdays, my schedule on this day changes per week but I am willing to work with you the best I can! Sunday- Early morning before 9 I will work with you. I understand it might be scary for a dog to meet a new person in their home. If they have a favorite toy, a favorite walk or treat I would be more than happy to take some extra time to play to help them feel more comfortable. If you have a fenced in yard, I would also be happy to let the dog let off some steam with some playtime.

There was one time I had to move my four cats because I had construction going on in my house and my poor black kitty Stevie was so scared I couldn't grab her. I was starting to panic because she was hiding under the bed and I couldn't grab her without scaring her. Emiliya was able to grab Stevie with NO problems. I truly don't understand how she did it but she was able to get her from under the bed smoothly and into her crate so we could move her while construction was happening. All my kitties naturally gravitate towards her and that's saying a lot because 2/4 of my cats are shy and don't like being out when strangers are in the house. She's also so good with my Boxer Digger! He always gets so excited when she comes over and loves when she gives him his daily 7 p.m. treats but she always makes him do a fun little trick before :) She has a naturally calming energy when it comes to animals and is extremely patient and loving.”
