“Gayle and Ray watched our two dogs for 4 days. They have a beautiful house and great fenced in back yard for the dogs to play in. They sent lots of pictures and our dogs seemed really well taken care of. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a loving home to leave their pups!”

About: I have over 10 years of professional animal care experience and a lifelong passion for animals. I hold a degree in Animal Science with a pre-veterinary emphasis from the University of Minnesota Twin Cities and have experience caring for a wide variety of animals throughout my life. As a stay-at-home mom to two young girls, I am home most of the day and can provide plenty of supervision, attention, and companionship for dogs in my care. Our family shares our home with two friendly and active dogs—a German Shepherd/Malinois mix and a Husky—as well as a cat and a small flock of chickens. We have a securely fenced yard where dogs can safely play, explore, and burn off energy. Whether your dog enjoys active playtime, socialization, or simply relaxing in a home environment, I strive to provide a safe, comfortable, and enriching experience while you’re away. I understand that every dog has unique needs and personalities, and I am committed to treating each one as if they were my own. Pet care is a natural part of my daily routine. As a stay-at-home mom with over 10 years of professional animal care experience, I am home most of the day and able to provide regular feeding, exercise, supervision, and companionship. I care for pets by maintaining consistent routines, providing plenty of attention and enrichment, and ensuring they have a safe, comfortable environment. Pets in my home receive supervised playtime, exercise in our securely fenced yard, and individualized care based on their needs and personalities.
“Nichole did amazing taking care of my dogs. She gave me updates on how they were doing and made me feel at ease while I was away. I would recommend Nichole to anyone who needed a dog sitter.”

“Eileen and Mike treated Ollie like family when we could not bring him with us for holiday travel. They were consistent with updates, and let us know how he was doing emotionally and physically. He was so happy and comfortable with them; would highly recommend.”

“Kim, once again, was wonderful! Tika doesn't like a lot of people but she seemed genuinely happy to find herself at Kim's door again. We had forgotten about an out of town trip so booked only a few days before. Honestly, if Kim had been unavailable we would have cancelled our trip. I 100% recommend Kim if you find yourself in need of pup care!”

“Alice always has a fantastic time with Mike and Karen. They are active caretakers and she gets to go on adventures, enjoy pup cups and more. I love all the fun pics they send. Im never worried about Alice when she is in their care.”

“Mango is a pretty anxious pup but she had an absolute blast at Sarah's place! She got to play a bunch and came home a very tired pup! Sarah sent lots of updates which I really appreciated as well!”

“They were so caring and attentive to my very anxious, senior dog. I had no worries while we were gone on our trip, about her. She was comfortable and came home happy. Will definitely reach out to them first thing when needed again.”

“Lorraine was so kind to our dog and loved her like family! Her home is a dog’s paradise with lots of room to play and plenty of nature to see and interact with! I highly recommend Lorraine, you won’t be disappointed!”

“Once again, I left my 3 senior pups in the care of Jonathan and his family and they took amazing care of them! I feel very comfortable knowing that they’re in good, caring hands 😌”

About: We are a loving family with a teenage son who has a deep love for dogs. While we’re not currently in a position to have a dog of our own, he has a strong desire to spend time caring for them and giving them the attention they deserve. He is gentle, responsible, and genuinely enjoys being around animals—whether that means playing, walking, or simply keeping them company. Our son is homeschooled, which means he’s home throughout the day and able to provide consistent companionship and attention to the pet. This allows for regular interaction, playtime, feeding, and supervision, helping ensure the pet feels engaged, cared for, and not left alone for long periods. His presence also makes it easier to maintain a steady routine and quickly respond to any needs the pet may have. In our home, pets are treated like part of the family and receive plenty of attention, supervision, and care throughout the day. Because my son is homeschooled he is home often and able to provide consistent companionship, playtime, and engagement. While we don’t have a fenced backyard, we make sure pets get regular leashed walks, outdoor time, and exercise in a safe and controlled way. We also have a separate mother-in-law suite where pets can spend time comfortably with my son away from our cats. This space allows for a calm, cozy environment where they can relax, play, or have quiet time if needed. We pay close attention to each pet’s routine, including feeding schedules, exercise needs, and any special instructions from the owner, to ensure they feel secure and well cared for.
“Bryn spoiled our sweet Riley during her stay and it was so fun to get pictures of Riley playing with her ball each day that we were away! Bryn truly loved spending time with our dog and found humor in each of her quirks, which quickly put us at ease! Riley can’t wait to stay with Bryn again!”

“I honestly can’t say enough about Ramsha and Albert and the way they cared for my dog, Stevie. The best word for their approach is simply love. They welcomed her as if she were their own, and it showed in every update — the photos, the videos, the thoughtful little texts that instantly put me at ease. As a newly adoptive dog parent, this was my first time ever boarding her (four days!), and the experience was beyond anything I hoped for. Exceptional care, genuine kindness, and a level of communication that made me feel completely confident she was in the right hands. Stevie came home happy, relaxed, and clearly adored — and that’s all a dog parent can ask for. Ramsha and Albert are the real deal.”

“Laura took great care of my pup! She sent lots of pics and updates of all their activities. It was great knowing he was well cared for while I was away!”

“We appreciate Samantha and Anthony so much! Again, they came through for us at the last minute and took a great deal of extra time and care to deliver medications to our sweet Tessie, and to keep her quiet and relaxed in her recovery from a sprained ankle. They are fantastic!”

“She updates me all the time with pictures and videos of my doggo having fun at her place. Will absolutely come back! My doggo also loves her baby, they have so much fun together.”

“Hally provides an exceptional experience for our pup! This is our second time boarding with her, and I highly recommend her to anybody. Lots of playtime, walks, and excellent communication.”

“Patty and Mike were amazing with our guy. I think he would have adopted them and left me if he could have. 🤣 he got the royal treatment. Thank you both.”

“Our dog was well taken care of and had so much fun with Madeline and Christian. We got lots of pictures and she came home tired and happy from all the playing with their dog! Would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for a great dog sitter!”

If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
