Gayle is wonderful and always took great care of my dog over the past year. It felt like I was bringing him to a family member’s home versus a sitter’s and that’s exactly the kind of feeling you want to have. 🙂 I highly recommend her!

We Left our dog Zac with Nichole For 3 days. She was so sweet and easy to work with, and stayed in good communication with us. She took good care of Zac, and gave him a much needed bath that we hadn’t had time to give him, but had made prior arrangements with her for. It was a great first experience with Rover all the way around, and we would definitely look Nicole up again!

This was our first time leaving our dog with anyone we didn’t know. Upon meeting Mike and Karen, they were super sweet and made us feel so comfortable in leaving our dog in their care. He has separation anxiety and they went above and beyond to make sure he was comfortable and happy. It was nice getting photos and updates in between as well. I’m so grateful to have chosen them to watch our boy.

About: We are a loving family with a teenage son who has a deep love for dogs. While we’re not currently in a position to have a dog of our own, he has a strong desire to spend time caring for them and giving them the attention they deserve. He is gentle, responsible, and genuinely enjoys being around animals—whether that means playing, walking, or simply keeping them company. Our son is homeschooled, which means he’s home throughout the day and able to provide consistent companionship and attention to the pet. This allows for regular interaction, playtime, feeding, and supervision, helping ensure the pet feels engaged, cared for, and not left alone for long periods. His presence also makes it easier to maintain a steady routine and quickly respond to any needs the pet may have. In our home, pets are treated like part of the family and receive plenty of attention, supervision, and care throughout the day. Because my son is homeschooled he is home often and able to provide consistent companionship, playtime, and engagement. While we don’t have a fenced backyard, we make sure pets get regular leashed walks, outdoor time, and exercise in a safe and controlled way. We also have a separate mother-in-law suite where pets can spend time comfortably with my son away from our cats. This space allows for a calm, cozy environment where they can relax, play, or have quiet time if needed. We pay close attention to each pet’s routine, including feeding schedules, exercise needs, and any special instructions from the owner, to ensure they feel secure and well cared for.

I honestly can’t say enough about Ramsha and Albert and the way they cared for my dog, Stevie. The best word for their approach is simply love. They welcomed her as if she were their own, and it showed in every update — the photos, the videos, the thoughtful little texts that instantly put me at ease. As a newly adoptive dog parent, this was my first time ever boarding her (four days!), and the experience was beyond anything I hoped for. Exceptional care, genuine kindness, and a level of communication that made me feel completely confident she was in the right hands. Stevie came home happy, relaxed, and clearly adored — and that’s all a dog parent can ask for. Ramsha and Albert are the real deal.

About: I have had pets my entire life, but as an adult only had dogs. I am a physical therapist by trade so I do have a health background. I have done insulin shots for a diabetic cat and ACL rehab for a dog. I have done bandages for small wounds from sharp rocks when hiking or a torn nail. Let me know your pups needs! I work for the schools district so only planning to do this in the summer right now! I may continue into next school year, but want to insure I have the time needed for your dog! I am married and the mom of 3 teen age girls who love dogs and want another one. They would love to cuddle, love and play with your dog while in my care! I will take your dog on daily walks with our dog pup and make sure they are happy! Our dog Tulsa loves other dogs and warms up quickly. She loves walks and hikes. She is not food aggressive at all but loves treats! Let me know what your pup needs. Tulsa is crated during our absence and I would prefer to do the same for your pup if we are out. When I am home, Tulsa gets free rein of the main floor and supervision in basement and upstairs for safety. She sleeps in my bedroom and night and I would do the same for your pup, or crate if that’s what you prefer. Tulsa is trained to ask to get on furniture but is sneaky sometimes. If your dog is allowed on furniture, we will allow that on our main sofa, but keep them off our front room sofa - it’s white. I can accommodate special diets and medication, but Tulsa does not have either of those.

Teddy intensely enjoyed his stay with Dustin! Dustin and his family gave their undivided attention to Teddy. We were kept informed with messages and pictures. Dustin was flexable with our arrivable and pick-up times. Dustin accepts only one dog for stay.So we knew Teddy was in good, caring hands. We’ll definitely book again if Dustin is availbale.

Preparing for drop-off is easy when you have a checklist! To help your dog settle into their Woodland Park home-away-from-home, we recommend packing:

  • Health and safety essentials such as their ID tags, vaccination records, medication, and emergency vet or secondary caregiver contacts.
  • Food and gear such as harnesses, collars, food (portioned by day), and an item that smells like you.

Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .

While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.

Many sitters in CO ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.

By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.

If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.

For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.

Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
