About: I grew up with a family dog, Chase, and for 17 years he grew my love for dogs. Once he passed I was in college and took every opportunity to care for other good buddies like him. Friends know that if they ask me to walk or care for their pup I will go above and beyond to make their buddy feel special and cared for when they aren't able. No one can replace you in your dog's eyes, but I'll fill the hole as close as possible. I have a pretty flexible work schedule so I can work with the needs of your pet throughout the week. I also have my own dog, so can combine walks/play or keep them separate! Does your dog love walks and playing fetch? Me too! I am very cautious when it comes to the safety of your pup, so I will strictly follow any guidelines you have as well as get to know your pup so I can better care for their needs. You can trust me to care for your dog as well as your space, I firmly believe in the power of coming home to a clean space, so don't worry we won't be making a mess while you're gone!

About: Animals have always been a big part of my life, from hedgehogs to horses. I love spending time with pets, keeping them safe and comfortable, and treating each one like they’re part of my own family. Caring for pets is a natural part of my daily routine. I start and end my day making sure animals are fed, exercised, and comfortable, and I enjoy spending time playing, cuddling, or going on walks. I like keeping a consistent schedule so pets feel safe and secure, and I follow any special instructions you have for their care. I’m available for pet sitting and walks Sunday through Tuesday, as I work a full-time job on the other days. I have a small fenced in yard at my home and plenty of space in my neighborhood for walks. I feed AM/PM and crate at night.

“Mikayla was absolutely amazing!! She checked in with the Rover app at every visit so I knew exactly when she was visiting with my fur baby Sedrick and for how long. She often visited with him for even longer than required which I really appreciated because Sedrick gets lonely when we are away. She sent detailed narratives of her visit and lots of amazing photos (she should be a pet photographer honestly) so I could know how Sedrick was doing and see that he was happy and being well taken care of. It was the highlight of my day getting the check ins from her and I knew Sedrick was being lovingly cared for which was great. We will absolutely be asking her to care for Sedrick any time we go out of town.”

About: I have taken care of animals all my life. I was lucky enough to grow up in the country with cats, dogs, horses etc. My pets are just as important to me as my children. I have always given the best care and love to my pets.They are the best companions for humans. I have watched my daughter’s deaf dog. I have also taken care of many senior pets. When my pets passed we buried them in our yard in the country.They are and always will be a part of our family. I recently retired from teaching. I taught for 25 years and loved it. My schedule is very flexible now. My days are open to help you with your pets. Our cat and dog have a pet door. They can go out and in as they please. Most of the time they are inside especially at night. We feed our dogs and cat in the evening. We play with our dogs and cats and take them on daily walks. I am very flexible on what you need for your pet. I want them to be comfortable and happy while you are away.

About: I have had both cats and dogs my whole life. My family has always been the home that would foster puppies from a local rescue, and that strays would find their way to our front porch. I currently have a husky lab mix named Will that requires a lot of daily training to help him be a more well rounded dog. I have spent that better part of the year working with a trainer, as my dog is a huge part of my life. I am a better dog parent because of him. I am also already accustomed to long dog walks as we take our dog on walks three times a day. Our previous dog, Toby, who passed away last year from severe dog dementia. We adopted him later in his life from a shelter and we had 6 amazing years with him. There were also mobile issues which my partner and I would take shifts on taking care of him each day along with weekly laser treatments at the vet. It was a full time job and a learning experience. This was a big part of why training our new dog is so important to us, we want his mind and body to be healthy as he ages. I am overall a huge pet lover and would love to help any dog get outside more! I'm currently working part time, as I am in school to get my bachelors degree. I am available Monday, Friday- Anytime past 1 p.m. Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday- Mornings to early afternoon before 2 p.m. Saturday- Contact me for Saturdays, my schedule on this day changes per week but I am willing to work with you the best I can! Sunday- Early morning before 9 I will work with you. I understand it might be scary for a dog to meet a new person in their home. If they have a favorite toy, a favorite walk or treat I would be more than happy to take some extra time to play to help them feel more comfortable. If you have a fenced in yard, I would also be happy to let the dog let off some steam with some playtime.

About: hey there! i've worked at a dog resort before so i know a good amount about the lovable pups. my go to is the river or just taking a nice stroll. i'm an early bird so bonus points if they love to get up early <3 i work at a tattoo shop so i've got plenty of time to give a lot of attention and care, my schedule changes all the time so it's a 9/10 i'll be able to fit your doggo in :) i have a 1 year old mixed puppy and a 4 year old kitty, i have about 3 dog parks right next to my apartment including 1 in my apartment haha. i'm close to garden of the gods for daily scenic strolls as well!

About: I've taken care of/ looked after pets since I was born basically, animals of all different kinds (dogs, cats, fishes, birds, horses) Ive since then had my own pup gracie who was with me since 18, she just recently passed from cancer. Since I now have the time, I thought I'd help look after others pets : ) I work but only 5 minutes from my job, and I make my own schedule at work. So i can leave whenever if there is an emergency and i can tailor my work day around requests I have for the day. I used to wake up and do sunrise walks with gracie, so I dont mind waking up early or staying later no matter the weather. I am very clean, and kind. About: I have 18 years of experience as a veterinary technician and in the veterinary industry. I'm comfortable caring for small animals, farm animals and livestock, administering medications and caring for senior pets or those with health concerns. We have called Teller County home for over 20 years and I have been active in the school district and community. I'm currently working from home, and have flexibility to provide daytime visits. If providing overnight care, I do need access to wifi so I can work remotely. I care for your pets in their environment, so that they are comfortable while you are away. I may leave during the day to provide drop in care for other pets, returning to provide your pets daily routine. You can feel free to contact me throughout my stay to check in, and You will receive updates so that you can enjoy your time away knowing your furry family are happy and healthy. If I am providing drop in only, I will send an update each time I leave your home.
