Dog Walkers in Florissant, CO

About: I've lived with cats and dogs my whole life. I've been tasked with taking care of my families' cats and dogs, as well as some neighbors. I'm currently not working, but am on the same schedule as my partner. 6am-3pm during the weekdays I will for sure be available, but it never hurts to ask. Maybe we could work it out. I am used to being respectful of others' homes, as I have taken care of neighbor's pets before. I have a lot of experience walking dogs, so I will be able to accommodate and adapt to the needs of the animal well. My home has a fenced in yard, good for daily stays.

About: Ever since i was a kid my passion has been animals and taking care of them. About: I have had both cats and dogs my whole life. My family has always been the home that would foster puppies from a local rescue, and that strays would find their way to our front porch. I currently have a husky lab mix named Will that requires a lot of daily training to help him be a more well rounded dog. I have spent that better part of the year working with a trainer, as my dog is a huge part of my life. I am a better dog parent because of him. I am also already accustomed to long dog walks as we take our dog on walks three times a day. Our previous dog, Toby, who passed away last year from severe dog dementia. We adopted him later in his life from a shelter and we had 6 amazing years with him. There were also mobile issues which my partner and I would take shifts on taking care of him each day along with weekly laser treatments at the vet. It was a full time job and a learning experience. This was a big part of why training our new dog is so important to us, we want his mind and body to be healthy as he ages. I am overall a huge pet lover and would love to help any dog get outside more! I'm currently working part time, as I am in school to get my bachelors degree. I am available Monday, Friday- Anytime past 1 p.m. Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday- Mornings to early afternoon before 2 p.m. Saturday- Contact me for Saturdays, my schedule on this day changes per week but I am willing to work with you the best I can! Sunday- Early morning before 9 I will work with you. I understand it might be scary for a dog to meet a new person in their home. If they have a favorite toy, a favorite walk or treat I would be more than happy to take some extra time to play to help them feel more comfortable. If you have a fenced in yard, I would also be happy to let the dog let off some steam with some playtime.
