About: We are a loving family with a teenage son who has a deep love for dogs. While we’re not currently in a position to have a dog of our own, he has a strong desire to spend time caring for them and giving them the attention they deserve. He is gentle, responsible, and genuinely enjoys being around animals—whether that means playing, walking, or simply keeping them company. Our son is homeschooled, which means he’s home throughout the day and able to provide consistent companionship and attention to the pet. This allows for regular interaction, playtime, feeding, and supervision, helping ensure the pet feels engaged, cared for, and not left alone for long periods. His presence also makes it easier to maintain a steady routine and quickly respond to any needs the pet may have. In our home, pets are treated like part of the family and receive plenty of attention, supervision, and care throughout the day. Because my son is homeschooled he is home often and able to provide consistent companionship, playtime, and engagement. While we don’t have a fenced backyard, we make sure pets get regular leashed walks, outdoor time, and exercise in a safe and controlled way. We also have a separate mother-in-law suite where pets can spend time comfortably with my son away from our cats. I go to great lengths to make sure they receive all the care and attention they need, including administering medicine, clipping nails, spoon-feeding, grooming, and more. About: We nicknamed our home The Dachs Inn - a weenie wonderland! We’ve cared for Dachshunds for 15 years and specialize in meeting the unique needs of this breed, including dog ramps on our furniture and deck. Our home features a dog door with all-day access to a giant backyard for potty breaks, play time, sunbathing and squirrels!!! Plush dog beds are placed through the home and a giant sectional provides the perfect spot for cuddle time. Daily walks are provided, we even have a dog stroller for senior dogs or those dachshunds suffering from IVDD. I work remotely from home full time and, along with my retired husband, provide hourly drop-in care, play dates, overnight and extended boarding in our home. Additionally, I provide home visits and walking services to families located on the west side of Colorado Springs. Other locations throughout Colorado are considered on case-by-case request for extended care in your home (5 or more days). I have three dachshunds, ages 15, 10, and under 1 year. My dog-friendly home has a fenced back yard, we feed all visiting dogs separately, and can provide daily pictures of your baby’s activities. I can also provide regular weigh-ins, medications, and teeth brushing. I am very active and love going on long walks/hikes (up to three miles) upon request. While I prefer to host only smaller dogs in our home, I am open to all breeds for care at your home - including drop-ins, walks, and house sitting. I kindly ask that all dogs are current on all vaccinations, including kennel cough. For medical emergencies, we are established at Westside Animal Hospital, The Animal Clinic of Woodland Park, and the Emergency Pet Center.

About: I have had pets my entire life, but as an adult only had dogs. I am a physical therapist by trade so I do have a health background. I have done insulin shots for a diabetic cat and ACL rehab for a dog. I have done bandages for small wounds from sharp rocks when hiking or a torn nail. Let me know your pups needs! I did Rover over the summer while ai was home and loved it! I do work outside my home, but my schedule and hours vary. If I need to check in on your pup or provide a snack, don’t hesitate to reach out. I do have some days where it can be 7-8 hours that I am gone, but I will let you know if that’s the case. I am married and the mom of 3 teen age girls who love dogs and want another one. They would love to cuddle, love and play with your dog while in my care! I will take your dog on daily walks with our dog pup and make sure they are happy! Our dog Tulsa loves other dogs and warms up quickly. She loves walks and hikes. She is not food aggressive at all but loves treats! Let me know what your pup needs. Tulsa is crated during our absence and I would prefer to do the same for your pup if we are out. When I am home, Tulsa gets free rein of the main floor and supervision in basement and upstairs for safety. She sleeps in my bedroom and night and I would do the same for your pup, or crate if that’s what you prefer. Tulsa is trained to ask to get on furniture but is sneaky sometimes. If your dog is allowed on furniture, we will allow that on our main sofa, but keep them off our front room sofa - it’s white. I can accommodate special diets and medication, but Tulsa does not have either of those.

About: All of my experience has been from personal pets and pets of family/friends. My current dog, a 4 year old Samoyed named Nimbus, trained at Under the Sun and is very accepting of other dogs. I also have a three year old toddler who is great with animals. I am a stay at home parent and so I would always be here with your pet. I like to play in the backyard with the dogs and if you are comfortable with it, I could take your dog on leashed hikes. My dog has free reign of the house and yours would as well. If I did need to run a quick errand, then your dog would be welcome to join or nap with Nimbus! I am a stay at home parent for our toddler and so I would always be around. We’re have a 4 year old Samoyed who loves other dogs and would be thrilled to have a playmate. if your dog enjoys activities, then they would be welcome to come with us on quick errands and or leashed hikes. I would, of course choose activities based on your preferences. I just want to stress that your dog would be treated like part of our family! I know that I want our dog to be comfortable and happy when I’m not with him and I would make sure that yours is as well. My main focus for care is just spending time with them and making sure they are happy! I have a four year old Samoyed who loves playing in our fenced and secure backyard and going for hikes. If your dog enjoys those activities, we would love for them to join! If your dog is older and needs a more relaxed environment then we are happy to just spend time at home with them! I do have a toddler that is not yet in daycare and so visiting dogs that are comfortable around kids would bee important from our end. We spend many days at dog parks and so our daughter is comfortable and good with other dogs and cats.

About: I am a mother of 4 children and one Chihuahua-Miniature Pinscher named Pepperoni (we call her ‘Roni’) and a cat named Dexter. I have been a pet owner for many years and have had a passion for animals all my life. About: I have been in the veterinary profession for 7 years, I am able to administer medications and available for any special needs your fur baby might have. I prefer to meet before booking but I understand emergencies come up. I am completely comfortable coming to your home and walking your kiddo or staying overnight while you are away. I have a St Bernard (4 yrs old), a tabby cat (14 yrs old), a Sphynx cat (1 yr old), and our newest addition is a Border Collie (6 months old). My cats love to lounge in the sun and the dog’s look forward to their walks and dog park time. Our dogs are very happy, playful dogs who adore interacting and meeting new animals and their owners. They are all current on their vaccinations and covered by pet insurance. Our dogs are allowed on all the furniture but we can accommodate whatever your wishes are for your pet. We rovered for a bit about 5 years ago but then took a break when we took our dogs to rv all across America for 4 years! We have since moved from Florida to Colorado and we love it here.

About: I have been involved with caring for household pets including cats, dogs, fish, birds, and ferrets for my whole life, and have been a pet sitter and a house sitter for 10+ years.
