Edyn is very reliable and takes great care of our senior boy. I appreciate knowing our boy gets the same level of care from her as he does from us.

Daniel has been wonderful for Hobie! He goes above and beyond and has been a bright spot during a stressful relocation. I was nervous about bringing my sometimes anxious dog to a new place but Daniel has made it so that Hobie is now living his best life and has a new bestie!!! Highly recommend!

Michelle was great and really took great care of our pups walking them daily. She sent pictures and updated me every day on how their walks went and if they didn’t seem like themselves. I will absolutely be reaching out to her again in the future.

About: Hi I'm Tori! I've been working closely and training with dogs for the better part of 8 years. When I first started working with dogs, I walked packs of 8-10 dogs off leash in San Francisco parks! I'm solely based in positive (R+) reinforcement training and love to help owners build their best relationships with their beloved pups! I am currently based in Colorado Springs. I'm familiar with great dog-friendly trails and have worked with all kinds of dogs (temperaments, age, and sizes)! I have a dog friendly home in Old Colorado City. I do have a safe fenced in backyard. I always do "meet and greets" before boarding or training any dog. If I stay at the dog owners' home, I stick to the dogs normal schedule/routine and make sure their home and pup is better than I found it! I'm trained in understanding dog's needs and being hyper aware of my environment to ensure safety of the dog I'm watching/walking! I hope to meet your beloved pup soon! Please reach out with any inquiries or questions! I’m very flexible for my clients needs! I do not have any pets of my own and am gone less than 6 hours a day, if I am gone at all. I always try to stick to the dogs normal routine and care! My home has no other pets and I am very experienced in walking, training, and sitting at my home and pet owners homes!

Jennie was very flexible and accomodating with scheduling an initial meeting and walking our dog while we had a last minute trip out of town. He can be a handful on walks and she did really well with him! On top of that, our flight got cancelled and Jennie was nice enough to walk and feed our dog an extra night and morning before we could get home! I really appreciated that she didn't just leave him to fend for himself alone and made time in her schedule to help us out!

About: I am a 36 year old Photographer with a lifetime of experience looking after people's pets. I have experience pet sitting and dog walking. I was a full-time dog walker in 2018, but that was a private company that had no connection to Rover. I volunteered at the SPCA for many years and have volunteered at several animal shelters as well. I have worked with wildlife, and all domesticated pets. I have also worked on farms taking care of sheep, goats, ponies, horses, etc. I have completed dog training classes through the SPCA. I plan to have my own animal shelter/wildlife refuge one day, but until then I am happy working with individuals that need help taking care of their pets. I have two huskies and two cats myself that are all over 8 years old. One of my cats is 18 now and I've had him since I was 19 years old. I look forward to hearing from you! I am a photographer and I work from home when I'm not working an event so I can do drop in visits as well as dog walks multiple times a day. I am only doing drop in visits now, and I can come to your home 3x a day for walks, and home care. I do require that you are there for the first visit so you can introduce me to your pets.

About: I personally have 5 dogs of my own (ages 10-5, various sizes 90-18lbs) and have two cats as well. (Ages 10 & 1). I have experience with puppies, kittens and elder pets as well. I have worked as veterinary assistant for over 6 years now, and am comfortable with most things involving pet care. I'm currently free most days after dealing with some health issues, but am ready to get back out there. So my schedule currently is wide open. I am more than comfortable walking any size or age dog. I'm pretty confident in my experience with dogs to understand them and what needs they may have.

Whether you want a solo or group walk depends on your dog's personality. Solo walks can be beneficial for dog parents with reactive dogs, puppies, or dogs who are anxious around unfamiliar animals. Many dog walkers on Rover offer private, one-on-one walking services.

Group walks are a good fit for social dogs who enjoy structured walks. If your dog prefers the energy of a group stroll, ask your dog walker about group walks in your Goldfield. Since all dog walkers are local, they may have a neighborhood dog who is a good walking companion to yours.

For dog walking services, you can request a report card update with specifics about your dog’s walk. Report cards require photos and can include a map of the walking route , total walk time, poop and pee breaks, and distance traveled, so you know exactly where your dog has been walking in Goldfield.

Got specific details you'd like the dog walker to include? Message them in the app before your dog’s walk begins.

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.

All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.

Every walker on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .

Yes, you can find walkers who have experience with handling special pet needs in Goldfield. On Rover:

  • 90% of walkers can help with special care needs
  • 95% can help with giving oral medications or injections
  • 97% can help with daily exercise

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
