“I’ve written a review about Gayle before, but my dogs most recent stay is worthy of another. My dog has been going to Gayle for dog sitting for about a year now, and I honestly have no complaints. During my dogs most recent stay Gayle recognized that my dog was not acting normal, and she didn’t hesitate to let me know. Unfortunately my dog got sick and ended up needing to see the vet while under Gayle’s care (a terrifying ordeal for any dog parent). Gayle handled the situation perfectly, ensuring my dog was taken care of, that the vet had all the info they needed, and providing me with constant communication. I am so thankful for Gayle’s vigilance and communication, my dog could’ve ended up very sick had Gayle not been such an amazing care giver. She went above and beyond to ensure my dog was taken care of and treated her like one of her own. Outside of my family, Gayle is the only person I trust watching my pup.”
“Koda had the most amazing stay with this wonderful family! From the moment we arrived, it was clear that they truly care for dogs and treat them as part of their family. Koda was showered with love and attention, and I could tell that she felt right at home. They made sure he was comfortable, engaged in fun activities, and even sent updates and photos throughout the stay, which gave me peace of mind and was so appreciated!”

“Samantha & Anthony were amazing! This was my first time using Rover. From the very first meet and great they were nothing short of welcoming and kind. They made me feel very relaxed leaving my senior dog with them for 2 nights. He is on heart medication and they were understandable when I had to modify times. They sent me pics and videos all weekend long. My dog is sleeping the second he got home so I know he had a fun filled weekend. I will definitely keep them in mind when needing a sitter in the future:)”

“Our 11 year old Schnauzer had her second (and longer) stay with Lorraine. Not only did we get daily updates and photos of our pup with big smiles...but we got that all important feeling that Toots was being well loved and cared for. Lorraine is amazing and we wouldn’t ever think of leaving our girl in anyone else’s hands!”
“Lori was great with our sweet Franklin!! She sent us daily updates with lots of pictures and made sure he felt loved and cared for. Franklin has always had family watch him or close friends, so he had always been welcomed into their homes like family and Lori helped me feel confident and comfortable that my baby would be cared for like family too. I cannot say enough good things about her 🥰”

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee, which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page.
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in CO ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
Adding another pup to the pack? Most sitters and walkers offer a reduced rate for additional dogs. You’ll find these exact rates listed under the "Services" tab on any sitter's profile. Since every dog is unique, final pricing may vary depending on the level of care required.
