About: I am a professional interdisciplinary artist who has worked and volunteered in the animal welfare field for over 30 years. I’ve worked as a vet-tech and kennel tech in shelters, as well as smaller clinics and rescues in Massachusetts and Texas. I grew up in a household with multiple cats and dogs. I am an advocate for bully breeds, and have owned pit bulls and pit mixes through much of my adult life. I treat all cats, dogs, exotics and other animals with utmost care, love, compassion, and patience, regardless of size, breed, and behavior. I am willing to do pick-up and drop-offs should you decide to board at my place and don’t want to drive all the way to Wimberley (for cats, small and medium sized dogs only). I have a clean driving record and am fully insured. I appreciate you giving me an opportunity to care for your furry kiddos, and look forward to it. Because I work from home I have a lot of flexibility for pet care. During boardings I stay home so you needn’t worry about your pets being left unattended. I live in a spacious, 2-bedroom home , on 10 fenced acres in Wimberley. I am self-employed and work from home when I’m not doing Rover appointments. If you choose to board your pet at my place I WILL stay home, so your dogs or cats will never be left unattended. I’m very tidy and do not leave anything laying around that could be a potential hazard for your fur babies. I have 2 large dog beds which I wash between uses. Cats can lounge wherever they’d like. I have excellent heat and AC. I also have a variety of toys for cats and dogs (which also get washed and sanitized), and keep a variety of healthy snacks and (rawhide-free) chews on hand, food and water bowls, as well as a couple litter boxes (litter choice is up to you). I also have a variety of harnesses (currently only for medium and large breed dogs) leads, and dog seat belts, clip-on lights for night walks. If you prefer your pet be crated while here you will need to supply the crate. ** Photos of house and interior upon request. The photos here are of the field in front of my place, where dogs can run and play (fenced in).

About: I have been a dog owner since I was 7. I worked a year as a kennel technician in a veterinarian's office getting to work with dogs and cats of all shapes and sizes. I am currently a master's student obtaining a degree in Wildlife biology where my love for animals grows daily. I'm currently in graduate school so certain days of the week are very full. I do have some availability during the week and am free weekends. Within your home I will follow any directions for what your pet needs in order to make sure they are comfortable and cared for while you are away.

When I care for pets at their homes, I make sure they stick to their routine and feel right at home. That means plenty of playtime, belly rubs, and lots of love. I take dogs on walks to keep them active and happy, and for cats, I keep the litter box clean and fresh. I also handle feeding, watering, and tidying up, plus I send regular updates with photos so you can relax knowing your pet’s in good hands.

“Tricia was so great! My dog isn’t that great of a walker so she took him off the main road in my neighborhood and let him hike which he loves and I really appreciated her communication”

About: Ever since I was a kid, I spent all my free time at my dad's veterinary hospital so I grew up around dogs and cats! Whenever there were dogs that were staying at our clinic, I always walked, bathed, and took care of them which I so loved doing! My friend also ask me to walk their dogs when their schedule is busy. I'll make sure they get the exercise, attention and love that they deserve. Whether it's a quick walk or an adventure, I'm here to help. Contact me today to schedule a walk! Used to be part time but now I am available any time! Just let me know when you need someone to walk or take care of your furry friend and I'll be there! 🩷 I take care of your pets in your home, where they feel safest and most at peace! I respect their routines, give them all the love they deserve, and make sure they never feel alone. Whether it’s cuddles, walks, or quiet company, I’m there with a full heart! 🌸
