I was visiting SF and sadly I had an occasion that I couldn’t bring my dog with me, so I spent such a long time trying to find a good sitter, and she was the right choice! She suggested meet and greet first, which was such a kind gesture. and she was always willing to accommodate my time and schedule, being flexible and understanding and reliable, while caring my dog clean and calm. As a small terrier my dog has weak rear legs and weak respiratory system so he coughs sometimes if there is stimuli, and I told her about it, and regarding those needs she was happily open to make things more comfortable for my dog. Thank you Martha! Wish you many more years of health, happiness and fun with dogs!”

She was so kind and loving, sent photos and videos throughout the day. Multiple walks. Our puppy peed in her house and she was super understanding (sorry!!). She was very experienced with dogs and had incredible energy. I think our puppy would’ve been quite content if her never picked her up again and she just lived with Shelley and her husband! About: Growing up, I regularly pet sat for friends, family, and neighbors. I’ve handled everything from walks, boarding, meals, etc. In college, I did a bit of work at a vet clinic. Right out of college worked at an upscale pet store where I learned about proper nutrition, grooming, care and the best treats ❤️! After that, I worked for over a year at a dog rescue which gave me hands-on experience with a wide variety of sizes and temperaments, and I’m familiar with all types of harnesses and equipment. With a flexible schedule, I’m available throughout the day for walks, feedings, and extra snuggles. Evening care is also an option. I’m happy to work with your pup’s routine! I’m able to do later in the evening if needed. I provide a safe, loving home where dogs receive lots of attention and supervision. Because we live in an apartment, pups should be comfortable with elevator rides. For daycare and boarding, dogs enjoy regular potty breaks every 4–6 hours and a long midday walk (about an hour, adjusted to their needs). I have a 7 lb Chihuahua mix who loves playing with other small dogs. This is if I host at my house I prefer dogs under 15 lb. My dog is often ok with large dog but can find them overwhelming. I just want to ensure my dog is comfortable with them. We also have plenty of toys available but of course only if your dog is ok with sharing. And of much cuddle time on the couch! I keep care intimate: daycare is limited to a maximum of two guest dogs (plus my dog) to ensure everyone gets plenty of attention. For overnights, it would only be your dog and my dog. We would stick to their typical night time routine but welcome to come cuddle on the bed with us! For dog walking, I’m comfortable with dogs of all sizes and have experience safely handling large breeds. My background at a dog rescue gave me hands-on experience with a wide variety of sizes and temperaments, and I’m familiar with all types of harnesses and equipment. I tailor everything to each dog’s needs, always following the routines and preferences you share with me. I know how important your pup is, and I’ll care for them as if they were my own.
