“Kimberly was wonderful! She was very responsive and met me outside for both pickup and drop-off, even inviting me in when I dropped Skye off. She sent daily photo updates, which I really appreciated, and Skye came home clean, healthy, and happy. I would definitely book with Kimberly again!”

“This is the first time I’ve had to leave my cats with someone else, and I didn’t want a kennel-like environment. Lyudmila provided daily photos and updates on what the cats were up to. She put my mind at ease. Her kids also pitched in with even more love and attention. She was a great provider and I was never concerned about their well-being.”

“Pamela did a wonderful job taking care of our dog Charlie! She sent us updates and pictures of how he was doing. We would highly recommend Pamela as a pet sitter and we already have Charlie's next stay booked with Pamela! :)”

“Katrina did an excellent job of caring for Knox. He appeared to feel very comfortable and found a friend among the pups that were there. He had good social interaction and was a tired pup when we got home.”

“Alex was able to accommodate my medium sized energetic pup and my little old lazy dog while I was away for a week. I knew they were enjoying their stay as she kept me updated with pictures and videos! I will use her again in the future.”

“Miranda provided a safe and caring home for our two dogs while we were out of town. We even received a couple of pictures, which was nice. We ended up delaying our return by 1 day and Miranda was able to accommodate the last minute request. Thank you!”

“Allison was beyond amazing! I could feel her kindness from the start. She was so good with our dog. This was our first time leaving him since he was very young and he had so much fun! She has a deep understanding of dogs and is in tune with their needs. She sent updates and pics throughout the stay which was reassuring. Would recommend over and over.”

“Jennifer did an excellent job with Cuddy. Her 2 dogs and her 2 children took the energy out of Cuddy and she is very happy just to lay around the house as of now. I'm sure she will be perky again tomorrow?”

“Hayden was very friendly and fast to reply. I definitely appreciated him watching my 2 dogs while I was away. My dogs seemed very happy and tired when I picked them up. I would definitely book him again.”

“Elizabeth was so kind and patient with our older dog who is having vision difficulties. It was a huge comfort to know she was being so thoughtfully cared for while we had to be away.”

“Our dog boarded with Ty and was well cared for and quite happy. We did a meet and greet with another sitter prior to meeting with Ty. The first one did not go well. Our dog did not even want to go into her house and her dogs and ours didn't seem to hit it off. After meeting Ty and his very well trained dog, Rocket couldn't wait to play with her. When we dropped him off, he ran in Ty's house like he lived there and didn't even hesitate. Got a daily update from Ty and Rocket was quite content. Will have no hesitation asking him to dog sit for us again.”

About: Animals have always been a huge part of my life—I truly love them with my whole heart and would do anything to make sure they feel safe, loved, and happy. Whether it’s a bouncy puppy or a senior dog who needs some extra care, I treat every pet like they’re family. I’m all about cuddles, consistency, and making sure your pet feels totally at home. Pet care fits really naturally into my routine. I work full time but have a very flexible schedule, which means I’m able to plan my days around pet visits, walks, and playtime. I’m already used to building my day around my own cat, so adding in extra care is something I truly enjoy. Having animals around makes my day better, and I love being that dependable person pets can feel safe with. Whether I’m caring for pets in my home or yours, my top priority is making them feel safe, loved, and comfortable. In your home, I stick to their usual routine—meals, walks, playtime, and snuggles—so everything feels familiar. At my place, while I don’t have a yard, I live right next to a dog park, which means plenty of playtime and fresh air! Pets in my care get a cozy, calm space, lots of love, and attention tailored to their needs.

“First time we left our dog who is 1 1/2 years. I was nervous, but Yuki was great! She treated Clover like she belonged there. Got great photos and updates. Hoping to see her again.”

About: We currently have no pets of our own, so are able to offer a unique environment for dogs who prefer to not be around other animals, or for owners who prefer this. Past experience with pets of our own, fostering puppies and dogs for a local shelter, and dog sitting for friends and family. Warm, loving home where dogs are adored and well cared for. I work from home during the week with a flexible schedule to allow for frequent potty breaks, if needed, and walk/play breaks. I am also happy to care for your dog on the weekends. We own our home and have a fenced backyard. Dogs are never left unattended in the yard. Sheets are placed over furniture so dogs can lounge on the sectional with good views of outside or blinds shut if outside views are triggering.
About: I’ve taken care of dogs my whole life, and have taken care of cats for 2 years now. I love taking care of both equally! I work full time, my husband works part time and is home during the day. We are available to watch your pets on weekends, but can do during the week as well! I have a home in a quiet neighborhood with a fenced in yard with plenty of room for dogs to run. I also own a friendly chocolate lab that would love play with your pup!
“Ana was so caring for our dog, Nala. She gave great updates (including video and pics!). It was so comforting knowing she was being well-loved on and cared for while we were away! We will definitely ask Ana to watch her again sometime! ☺️”

Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in ND ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
