Hi! I'm Kim. A lifelong dog person, I've hosted friends' dogs, from puppies to seniors, in my home for over 20 years. My husband, our dogs, and I love to spoil dogs when their family is away, knowing that the love and care we pour into dogs make their humans feel less anxious to leave town without them. Your pup can expect lots of walks, access to a doggy door, and a fenced-in backyard that is free from weed killers and other fertilizers. My husband and I have petsitting coverage through Pet Sitters Association.

Kimberly & Tim were absolutely amazing with Gemma! They kept me updated throughout the day with messages and photos, which gave me so much peace of mind. It was clear she was having a great time making new friends and playing, and I could tell she was well cared for. They were kind, communicative, and flexible when I was running a few minutes late for drop off . Gemma came home happy and tired, which is always a great sign! I so much appreciate Kim taking care of my dog. She was very attentive and communicative. I knew my pup was in good hands, so I didn’t have to worry.
Our dog, Leo, did great in their care. He had some good friends to play with and lots of walks. I appreciated their level of communication. We will definitely take Leo there again.
This was the 1st time leaving my pets overnight and I was very nervous! Both are dogs are rescues and because of whatever they went through before they joined our family, I want them to always feel safe and happy. Kim made their visit great and kept me updated with texts and pictures. I am so happy they have a safe place to go play or stay overnight when needed!

Harmonogram
Working part-time from home means that I have plenty of time to provide your pet attention and affection. We'll get lots of quality time together! Walking dogs is an important part of my fitness routine, so your best friend will get lots of enrichment while you're away. Please note that I do leave the house on Wednesday evenings for choir practice and on Sunday mornings for church. Tim is home on Wednesday evenings. If your dog stays with me for an extended amount of time, I might need to leave for an appointment, quick trip to the grocery store, etc., from time to time.

Because we are such avid dog lovers, my husband and I set aside an entire room in our house for dogs to hang out when they need a safe place to hang out when we're away from home. This room has access to a doggy door, a fenced-in backyard with a locked gate, and grass that is free from fertilizer and weedkiller. Outside of this room, your dog will be free to hang out in our living room, snuggle up in a cozy dog bed in the office, or find some quiet in the kitchen or entryway. I honor your pet's sleeping preferences by allowing access to our bedroom if that is what they need to feel secure. Your dog will be loved and accepted, canine quirks and all!

We will walk as far as your dog needs, being careful of weather conditions. We love to play fetch and explore the backyard around here. If your pet needs basic training reminders, I can do that, too.
