“Dorothy was very good with our dogs and left our home the way she found it. There was an incident where one (the puppy) of our 3 dogs got into a couple of things and wrecked a pair of old shoes. She was remorseful and offered a partial refund for the damage (a couple of her personal belongings were damaged as well). I realize accidents happen and am not mad about the situation, especially since she notified me as soon as it happened. I told her not to worry about any refund, but she still left me something as well as some delicious bars. She was very good in communicating with me and I will definitely have her back.”

A big storm came through on one of the nights Kimmie was watching our dogs and when the storm sirens went off in the middle of the night Kimmie made sure the dogs were safe in our (unfinished) basement. She went above and beyond to stay with them to keep them calm, so that was a big plus! She did a great job communicating with us when we were away and our dogs seemed to thrive with her. That’s even more notable considering our younger dog lost his sight a few weeks prior to the dates we used her, and she navigated that unexpected concern beautifully!”

About: I have been around animals my whole life and always enjoy caring for them! I have owned a puppy so I am skilled in puppy needs, and I am ready for any challenges I may be faced with! I have also stayed overnight caring for my families pets many times and I really enjoy it! I will be working part-time as a life guard in the summer, so I will definitely have plenty of time to care for your pets! The only other activity I have going on is bringing kids to gymnastics on mondays, wednesdays, and thursdays at 8:30 am, and then camping with my families some weekends! At my house I have a fenced in yard, while at other homes I am very attentive to detail and instructions when caring. I always keep a careful eye to make sure of pet safety.

About: Growing up, I've always had pets, and my affection for them has only grown stronger as I've gotten older. I'm fascinated by creatures of all kinds and enjoy learning about them. My pet-care experience stems from having my own pets as well as caring for family, friends, and volunteers over the years. I’m excited to get to know you and your pet and provide that unconditional safety and love. Ideally weekends work best but weekdays in the morning are just fine as well. I have a mixed schedule so contact me for any questions. I can always assure my clients that i will take the finest possible care of their dog or cat. I do recognize that leaving a pet at home can be stressful but I make note of all relevant information, such as emergency contacts, veterinarian details, food recommendations, medication information, alarm codes, etc. Never forgetting to lock the doors, and never leave the building without a key. You can be sure that your pet is in good hands.

“Leaving my dogs has always been hard and I’m not going to lie I was pretty nervous because I had never used Rover before. With in the first couple of days, my worries were gone. Adam was updating me on the boys atleast once a day and sent us pictures of them (including our fish Steve). We knew Zeke could be a little timid but he warmed up to Adam right away. He even won the heart of my cranky old man Bruno. With Zeke he can be a bit good shy and not eat everything but had stepped right up and found a solution with some chicken broth. They got their walks and playtime everyday and Adam even stayed at my apartment to make them more comfortable while we were gone. Bonus the house was somehow cleaner than when we left it… even though he didn’t have to do that. I can’t recommend Adam enough. I would rebook him in an instant the next time we are going out of town.”

Brooke stayed with our two dogs for a week and took such great care of them. She followed their routine, kept in touch while we were away, and left everything clean and ready for my parents when they arrived. We really appreciated her help and will definitely have her back again!
Layne was awesome! She was super accommodating for our arrival and departure times. She took our dogs on multiple walks throughout the day, provided constant updates with pictures throughout the entire stay. She additionally left our kitchen and guest room spotless!
