About: I genuinely enjoy caring for animals. My kids are 10 & 7. They have grown up with pets in the home & understand to respect the animal. I am able to give them attention throughout the day as I work in my home. I only accept 1 dog per day as a playmate to my own dog & to ensure the dogs have enough supervision. I have a fully fenced yard for them to explore & enjoy. I'll keep you updated with photos throughout their stay. To ensure safety and a stress-free stay for everyone: -Dogs must be comfortable in a home environment -No severe separation anxiety (must be able to settle when I step out briefly) -No destructive behaviors (chewing furniture, doors, crates, etc.) -No aggressive behaviors toward people or other dogs -No escape artists (must respect fencing and gates) -Up-to-date on vaccinations and flea prevention -Friendly with children and other dogs I work from home in an office upstairs. Currently, my pets are able to roam freely throughout the house. I am able to do 10-15 minute walks in the morning, (longer during lunch, afternoon, & in the evening. I have a fenced in yard. The pets are able to roam freely throughout the house, or I am able to coral them to one side of the house when we leave. Dogs will be crated during the night.

Taylor's care was simply fantastic. Her own dogs are so gentle and welcoming; you can see that Taylor and her husband are dog lovers. My dog craves exercise, so I was a little hesitant about how she would adjust to staying in an apartment, but I should never have worried! Taylor made sure she had lots of safe, outside, running time at the park! She sent us pictures and updates, and although Sydney was glad to see me, she was also stress-free and obviously well cared for. I recommend Taylor 100%.

About: Hello! I have always had a love for animals especially dogs and cats. I had my own dog, Charlie, who had complex health issues and unfortunately is no longer with me. He made me comfortable with giving medications, insulin/allergy shots, and following instructions with dietary restrictions that I can also provide your pets with when needed. I currently work full time M-F, but my schedule is flexible during the week and most weekends. I have also been employed for over a year with a company in the F/M area providing pet care services in people's homes. I LOVE what I do and always looking for more opportunities to meet new furry friends. My schedule is flexible and I respond quickly to text/phone calls or email when reaching out looking for pet care. I'm able to do morning shifts before I head to my full time job M-F, lunch breaks, and after work. I can often move my schedule around if you need other times throughout the day too. Just ask! Weekends are more open when I am not out of town. I prefer going to the pets home to provide care where they are in a familiar environment. I can provide walks, bring your pet outside to play, clean litter boxes, feed and fill their water, administer medication etc. Boarding in my home can also be provided, as I have a pet and smoke free home and can work with your pets needs to make them feel safe and at home.

About: Hi! I’m Nicole 🐾I’m currently in the process of becoming a dog trainer 🎓🐕 I’m originally from Brazil 🇧🇷, where I graduated as a pharmacist. I recently moved to the U.S. 🌎 due to my husband’s work. Animals have always been a huge part of my life 🐶. For many years, I’ve cared for dogs and volunteered at a shelter 🏡🐾, helping rescue dogs from the streets. Those experiences strengthened my love for animals while teaching me patience, empathy, and genuine care. After moving, I deeply felt the absence of my own dog (who unfortunately had to stay in my home country) and, Instead of letting that feeling become just distance, I chose to turn it into something meaningful by sharing the same love, attention, and care with other pets. I’m comfortable with all kinds of personalities: from energetic and playful pups ⚡ to shy or more sensitive pets 🐕‍🦺. I always take the time to help them feel safe, understood, and truly cared for 💛. My goal is for both pets and owners to feel completely at ease, knowing their loved one is in kind, dependable hands. I also provide regular updates and photos so you ALWAYS feel connected and reassured throughout their stay 📸✨. I do my best to offer flexible availability and accommodate a variety of schedules whenever possible. Because I truly care about giving each pet the attention they deserve, I thoughtfully manage my calendar to make sure every booking receives the time, care, and presence it should. Whether your pet needs regular visits, last-minute help, or a more personalized routine, feel free to reach out. I’m always happy to communicate and see how I can help while making sure it remains the best experience for every pet in my care 😊 Your pet’s comfort, happiness, and safety are always my top priorities. I know every pet is unique, so I take the time to understand their routine, personality, and what helps them feel most at ease. Whether they need playtime, cuddles, quiet companionship, medication support, or extra patience, I always adapt my care to their individual needs. My home is super clean, calm, and pet-friendly, with a warm environment where pets can feel relaxed and comfortable. I also send regular updates and photos, so you can feel connected and reassured knowing your pet is happy, safe, and receiving loving care.

About: I have three dogs of my own, so caring for pets is a big part of my everyday life. I’m very comfortable with different sizes, personalities, and energy levels—from playful puppies to more relaxed or senior dogs. What sets me apart is that I treat every pet like my own, paying close attention to their routines, behavior, and comfort. I’m patient, reliable, and good at picking up on small changes in a pet’s mood or needs. Whether it’s walks, playtime, feeding schedules, or just giving them love and attention, I make sure each pet feels safe and happy while you’re away. Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine since I have three dogs of my own. As an online student, I have a flexible schedule that allows me to give pets plenty of time, attention, and care throughout the day. I’m able to maintain consistent feeding, walking, and play schedules, and I’m home often to provide companionship and supervision. I provide a safe, loving, and structured environment for every pet in my care. In my home, I have a secure, fenced-in yard for supervised outdoor time, along with three friendly and playful dogs who enjoy socializing. I always introduce pets slowly to make sure everyone is comfortable. If needed, I can separate or crate my dogs or your pet to ensure a stress-free environment. I follow each pet’s routine closely, including feeding, walks, playtime, and any special instructions. In a client’s home, I respect their space and stick to their pet’s normal schedule to keep them comfortable and relaxed.

About: As a lifelong dog and cat lover, I understand how much pets mean to their families. After raising a Min Pin for 16 years and a Bull Terrier for 11, I’m experienced with puppies, senior dogs, and everything in between. I’ve also cared for many pets through sitting and walking services while living in Germany, always providing loving, attentive care. Treating every pet like family! I work as a paraprofessional and am currently off for the summer, which gives me a very flexible schedule and plenty of time to dedicate to pet care. During the school year, I maintain a consistent routine and can still provide reliable care. In your home, I can make multiple visits throughout the day for walks, potty breaks, feeding, playtime, medication, or simply providing companionship and attention. At my home, while I don't have a fenced yard, I do have a large open yard with a field behind our home and several nearby walking paths. Pets in my care receive plenty of exercise, outdoor time, and supervision to keep them safe, happy and comfortable.

Once you find the right match, you can arrange a Meet & Greet to ensure they are a perfect fit for your pet’s personality before confirming.

If you would like updates while you’re away, you can discuss with your sitter how many or how frequent you’d like those updates to be. The Rover app allows sitters to send photos, videos, and messages about your pet, including how many pee or poop breaks occurred. You can message your sitter at any time through the app and our support team is available 24/7 by email or chat if you have concerns.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .

While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.

Many sitters in ND ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.

By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.

Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.

If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
