About: I lived on a farm and had all types of animals. I love dogs. Cats are fine, but I love dogs. My wife and I also had parakeets, finches, and cockatiels for a number of years. Since I'm retired, I'm pretty flexible. I like to walk, so taking your dog for a walk would be something I would very much enjoy. When the weather is nice, I enjoy going to dog parks with the dogs. Tell me what you want to do, and I will do it. If there are special needs, i would prefer them in writing. If I think I would not be a good fit, I will tell you. I would expect the same from the client.

I've had dogs most of my life and love meeting new furry friends. I've had dogs as small as 5lbs and as big as 85lbs. I'm comfortable with all types, sizes, and breeds. I am capable of following any special instructions/ medications/diets as well. I have higher availability during school breaks but can still make it work during the regular work week. I work primarily from home, so your pup won’t be sitting alone all day. I’m around for potty breaks, playtime, walks, supervision, and plenty of company. My backyard is fully fenced, giving dogs a safe place to stretch their legs and enjoy some off-leash time. Most importantly, I know how much trust goes into leaving your dog with someone else. I’ll treat your pup like a member of the family while they’re here. ❤️🐾 And yes, I’m happy to care for cats, too! I grew up with a cat for 10 years and am comfortable with feeding, fresh water, litter box care, playtime, and keeping your kitty company. When my kids get home from school, the dogs get extra love! The dogs love to play in the backyard. After plenty of playtime and dinner, we like to relax and cuddle with the dogs on the couch while watching TV to wind down before bed. I have a fenced yard and three friendly dogs to keep your dog company. I feed dogs in the morning and at night. I let them out multiple times a day - the Golden loves to play and the Yorkie has a small bladder. I have a large crate if ever necessary.

About: I genuinely enjoy caring for animals. My kids are 10 & 7. They have grown up with pets in the home & understand to respect the animal. I am able to give them attention throughout the day as I work in my home. I only accept 1 dog per day as a playmate to my own dog & to ensure the dogs have enough supervision. To ensure safety and a stress-free stay for everyone: -Dogs must be comfortable in a home environment -No severe separation anxiety (must be able to settle when I step out briefly) -No destructive behaviors (chewing furniture, doors, crates, etc.) -No aggressive behaviors toward people or other dogs -No escape artists (must respect fencing and gates) -Up-to-date on vaccinations and flea prevention -Friendly with children and other dogs I work from home in an office upstairs. Currently, my pets are able to roam freely throughout the house. I am able to do 10-15 minute walks in the morning, (longer during lunch, afternoon, & in the evening. I have a fenced in yard. The pets are able to roam freely throughout the house, or I am able to coral them to one side of the house when we leave. Dogs will be crated during the night.
