Pet care experience

The next best thing to being home…

Although my sweet girl Penny passed away in the fall of 2021, I had 15 years of experience in being her mom. There is no doubt that she was the best thing that ever happened to me. My love for her and the joy she brought to my life led me to Rover. I’ve now been caring for pups on Rover for more than 8 years and, while I’m not quite ready to adopt again, I’m thankful for the happiness that all my Rover pups bring me. I’ve been watching many of my pups since they were puppies and they (and their moms and dads) are like family. I also have previous work history in a veterinary clinic, so I’m comfortable administering medications. Over the years, I’ve given insulin shots, oral medications and topical ointments. I’m experienced with post surgery care and have been certified in canine CPR. My home is located west of downtown Fargo and overlooks the park. Daily outings are usually on the schedule (weather permitting). Treats flow freely (as long as you give the approval). A fully stocked toy basket is always available to alleviate any boredom, and the couch is perfect for Netflix cuddles. The backyard is fully fenced. It is rare that I don’t have at least one pup staying with me on any given day, so your pup would most likely have company. Many of the pups I look after have met each other many times over the years and have become quite good friends!

Pamela was great! My pup was happy and comfortable with her, and she was great about sending updates. We’re booked with her again coming up and I know Florence will be well taken care of while I’m gone.

Pamela was great with our black lab Luna! Itv was our first time with her and she made everything very easy. Pamela gave daily updates with photos.. Her location by a park was great for walks. We knew Luna was in good hands while we traveled. We would certainly recommend Pamela and use her again.

We just had Indy here for the first time and it was an ideal experience. Sent photo updates and reassurance. Was very understanding when we got delayed by a tornado warning on our drive back. Would highly recommend.

My primary occupation is as a dog walker and sitter. I love what I do and it is important to me that I am reliable and available when needed. Plans can change at the last minute, and I’m flexible to make things work when that happens.
