About: I have been around dogs for as long as I can remember and I wouldn't have it any other way. My love for dogs is what led me to join my county's 4H dog project in which I had to train my dog in obedience, agility, showmanship, among other things. I was in the dog project from 3rd grade until my senior year and plan on completing the training through Rover as well! I am currently in school and will be completing an internship now until June 12th so my schedule will be all over the place for a bit. However, after June I should be fairly available during the week! My caring for your pet would have to take place in your home, as I currently live in an apartment with my roommate and her dog. I am more than willing to make trips to do what you need me to if I am available!

About: I am an experienced pet care taker. I had a dog of my own for 7 years before she passed away of a heart condition. I now have the best Rottie in the earth. Before that my family had dogs and cats growing up. I also consistently foster animals through one of the organizations in town. All dogs on my profile are dogs I either owned, fostered, or babysat. I love to spend as much time with the dogs I am sitting! If it’s the weekend only this is easy to do - If your dog would like a friend my Rottie would like to come with! If not no worries at all! For weekdays: I work from home and can make moving to your home work but will need a desk space or active table space with the ability to plug in - and preferably the ability to bring my 4 year old friendly Rottie with me. If I am unable to bring her what I have done in the past is work from my home and then spend the evening/night with your dog. I always make a lunch break work for this plan. This often mimics similar to a 8-5 schedule. We can definitely discuss details on this! She is part of a team that helps a rescue in town dog test new dogs on their reaction to others! I look forward to hearing from you.- I try to be flexible as possible for your dogs needs. If these schedules don’t work for you - please still reach out if you want to discuss options! I am comfortable continuing what you have done with your dog in your home. Normal walks? You got it. Fenced yard and fetch? Terrific. I love to keep dogs into the regular routine as it’s already stressful for their human to be gone. About: I have been pet sitting for friends and family since I was 15. I’ve watched puppies-senior age dogs and adult cats. I believe in positive reinforcement for behavior! I am working part time and have plenty of time in the morning and early afternoon to let your pup out, or get some energy out! I sometimes have availability later in the day too. Isaac was very knowledgeable, interested in the care for our boys, took them on walks which is not the most calm of walks with huskies. We came home to well rested, happy dogs. No issues! He is wonderful and we would recommend him and absolutely will request to rebook!
Crystal is so attentive and once again won over a skittish new kitty who needs meds. He’s scared of most new people so I was thinking he’d have to miss his meds at least the first night because I didn’t think he’d come out for her. But Crystal was patient and took the time to earn his trust and was able to get him to take his meds on the first visit! She really has a way with cats!
Vanessa was wonderful!! She took lots of pictures and left very detailed notes. She was really quick to respond to any messages we left for her and our cats loved her!! She was very flexible and accommodating to the last-minute changes we had in our plans. She is definitely our go-to person!!
Taylor was fantastic—this was my first time using Rover and my request was fairly short notice, I was a bit apprehensive but in a bind. She made the entire experience seamless and put me at ease! She was responsive, communicative, and took the time to answer all my questions. She handled everything flawlessly, from administering medication to feeding everyone and keeping my fur babies entertained. I threw a lot of information at her and she nailed it! I highly recommend her and would absolutely book with her again.
Tennille provided excellent care for our Senior cat. She spent extra time with him and made sure he got some play time in. I also asked for plenty of photos and she sent us a ton! It was really reassuring to have a whole sequence of photos showing him get settled into his spot on the couch then falling asleep. You could tell he was happy! Thank you very much!
