With a two story house, patio, and open yard with a walking path nearby, the opportunities are endless for your pups needs to be met! Your pet can snuggle up on the furniture and/or bed or be crated if that is your preference.

About: I've grown up with vastly different dogs; my first was a grumpy senior cocker spaniel and my last was the sweetest, smartest Australian Shepard/blue heeler. I've also taken care of friends' and family's pets like my aunt's deaf pitbull and my cousin's St. Bernard. Needless to say, I have a wide range of pet experience. I'm currently an online graduate student, which means I have flexibility to work around yours and your pet's schedule. I'm available most days with available times from early morning to late evening. It's important for a pet to feel safe in their home. It's important to follow a pet's boundaries, I try to cater to their needs and their routine.
“Abigail was a fantastic cat sitter! She took care of my little lady just like I asked. She communicated very well and sent multiple photos of Loey everyday while I was gone. She even took in some packages I had delivered which I had asked her to do. Loey and Abigail were the best of friends while I was gone and I highly recommend her!”

“Kierstin was wonderful!! Great with communication and I felt very confident in her ability to care for my pet while I was away. Will definitely be rebooking in the future.”

About: I have had pets my whole life, currently owning my own kitty and co-parenting my boyfriends Great Pyrenees. I am now a graduate of NDSU, I have a bachelors degree in veterinary technology. Which means I have thorough and professional experience caring for, medicating, walking, enriching, and housing animals. I am excited to meet you and your pet and care for them exactly how you would. I am currently between jobs so my only commitments outside of your pets are mine. I return to my own home for a few hours every day during a sitting to care for my own pets. I am committed to caring for your pet the same way that you would. I believe in following instructions to the best of my abilities in order to ensure your pet receives the care they deserve.

About: I have been around dogs for as long as I can remember and I wouldn't have it any other way. My love for dogs is what led me to join my county's 4H dog project in which I had to train my dog in obedience, agility, showmanship, among other things. I was in the dog project from 3rd grade until my senior year and plan on completing the training through Rover as well! I am currently in school and will be completing an internship now until June 12th so my schedule will be all over the place for a bit. However, after June I should be fairly available during the week! My caring for your pet would have to take place in your home, as I currently live in an apartment with my roommate and her dog. I am more than willing to make trips to do what you need me to if I am available!

“Mallory was amazing with our cats! Usually mine are shy but they really enjoyed her company. She was super flexible even with our very last minute booking. She is so sweet and kind! We will definitely be using her in the future!”

“Elle gave us such peace of mind by providing feeding visits for our shy kitty, Layla. We had assured Elle that she would not see our kitty but she stayed around quietly and was finally able to lay eyes on her. We were so pleased with Elle’s care.”

“Annie was fantastic-we had an unexpected loss that lead to us being gone for a week at a very short notice. She was responsive, easy to work with, and so loving to our sweet girl. Thanks, Annie!!”

“Emma was great with our dogs! She was super quick to respond when we needed someone last minute and flexible as we figured out a few things with weather. We really appreciated the photos and updates. Thank you!”

“Kimmie is great! I was so anxious about how this would all work out but it’s has made my life so much less stressful knowing my dogs are with someone who is kind and considerate. Love having Kimmie involved in our routine and appreciate her more than she knows!”
About: I’ve had experience taking care of dogs pretty much my whole life, so I’m really comfortable around all kinds of personalities and needs. I’ve also spent a lot of time staying overnight with dogs and watching them for different lengths of time, whether it’s just a day or longer trips. I’m used to handling feeding schedules, walks, playtime, and making sure they feel safe and relaxed while their owners are away. I’m a teacher during the school year, so my weekdays are a bit more structured since I’m working from about 8–4. In the summer, I switch things up and work as a nanny three days a week. I’m still available on weekends year-round, and during the school year I can be available outside of my work hours on weekdays as well. I really strive to be a safe, calm place for dogs, no matter their personality or needs. I’m comfortable around all types—whether they’re super energetic, shy, or need a little extra patience. I’m also very good at following whatever routine or plan you already have set up for your pet, so they can stay comfortable and stick to what they’re used to while you’re away.
About: I am a Veterinary Technology student at NDSU with a passion for helping all kinds of animals. I have professional pet care experience working at a pig barn, vet clinic, impound, and pet store. This has given me a vast experience with animals of all species and care levels. I am well versed in providing medications and have even raised a litter of kittens. I also love animals of the feathered and scaled variety and would be happy to provide them with care. I am a college student with plenty of spare time to take care of your furry companions. I can easily visit 3 times a day and could make accommodations for more visits if necessary. I am willing to care for your babies at your home or even at mine. I have 2 dogs and 2 cats so there will be lots of play time if you wish. I also have separate spaces if needed such as an extra room and fenced in back yard. I am able and willing to do nail trims and bathing if necessary as well as make sure they take any necessary medications. With me they will have lots of time outside and lots of time to play.
About: Three years as a veterinary assistant and a current pre vet student has prepared me to provide attentive, trustworthy, loving care for every pet I’m entrusted with. I’m currently working full time but will be switching to part time come end of August. I’m available for boarding after 5 pm all week and all day throughout the weekend! I live in a small house close to NDSU and love going on walks (especially with your pet)! I provide a safe, clean, stress free environment by following routines, securing hazards, monitoring pets closely, and treating every home with respect and care. I am comfortable administering any medications your pet is on and do not mind allowing pets on furniture but will follow your rules if you do not:)

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Fargo
Isaac was very knowledgeable, interested in the care for our boys, took them on walks which is not the most calm of walks with huskies. We came home to well rested, happy dogs. No issues! He is wonderful and we would recommend him and absolutely will request to rebook!

Cairn is absolutely amazing with Duke he loves it when she comes over to see him I couldn’t be happier with her service she has been a true blessing for Duke I am very picky about who I let babysit Duke but Cairn has been awesome to work with and Duke responds to her very well

This was my first time using Rover, and I was initially hesitant to leave my PooBear with a stranger. However, I decided to take a chance last minute. I met Nicole, who was incredibly friendly and accommodating to my schedule request. She made the arrangement mutually beneficial and kept me updated on my PooBear’s wellbeing. We even met up the day before for her to meet Chewbacca. Everything went smoothly. If I ever need someone to watch Chewbacca again and she’s available, I’ll definitely go to her. Thanks again, Nicole!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking. Recurring services come with their own perks, such as flexibility to modify services (up to five weeks in advance), automatic billing, Rover Card updates, and same-day cancellations.
